Actually, the truck driver is quite confused right now because the customer's requirement was to wait to pick up the goods and then take both the person and the goods to the most remote place possible.
It's getting late now, and it just doesn't feel right to head out to a big forest so far away.
Could it be some new method of murder?
But the client is paying a lot, so to make money, you have to go no matter how far it is, and besides, there's a crane operator brother accompanying you, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?
Su Ming was sitting inside Bumblebee, not saying a word, just humming a tune, touching the Autobot emblem on the steering wheel.
To be honest, the first American cartoon he was exposed to was the Tom and Jerry he watched as a child, followed by Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; as for those superheroes, he got into them quite late.
However, the world of cartoons is relatively more child-friendly, and after really reading the Transformers comics, he found out that the comic world is actually pretty dark too.
Given that humans are incomparable to Autobots in individual combat power, the human villains that appear are all super conspirators, as cunning as anything.
They manipulate governments, control public opinion, secretly provoke and isolate, use humans and Earth as hostages, and occasionally come up with some dark-tech big moves...
In short, the Autobots living on Earth are not at ease at all, it's like the world is against them.
By the way, IDW's integration rules are quite different from Marvel and DC.
If the editors want popular characters to appear in the same comic, their worldviews will converge, and even gradually blend together.
Su Ming heard before time travel that Transformers and Special Forces were going to merge and upgrade, but he doesn't know if it's been done yet.
But if it has, the enemy organization 'Cobra' of Special Forces also exists on this Earth, and as snakes, they are in no way inferior to Hydra.
Who knows when 'Rise of the Cobra' will happen, maybe they're working on a 'Nanomagnetic Devouring Bullet' kind of black tech that can devour metal, which feels like it's meant to deal with Transformers.
And the research funding is sponsored by the United States...
But although the future is indeed quite bumpy, there's no need for Bumblebee to keep spraying washer fluid, leaving the windshield all blurry like a runny nose.
How dirty...
Two hours later, the truck arrived at a remote canyon.
"Boss, how's this place?"
"Alright, unload the Chevrolet, and then you guys can come over to get the money."
Su Ming looked around; the place looked pretty decent. As long as they didn't cause a big scene, they didn't have to worry about being specifically monitored by satellites.
The surrounding trees provide enough cover, and the complex terrain is advantageous for small-sized human combat; this truck driver does have some strategic insight.
Soon, it was just Su Ming and Bumblebee left in the valley, the surroundings eerily quiet.
Su Ming leaned against the hood, arms crossed, his suit gradually slipping off to reveal the yellow-black armor beneath, while his tie moved back to transform into a black cape.
His red monocular mask turned to Bumblebee.
"Contact your leader, then we'll go get the Star Map and my equipment."
Bumblebee is now stuck in a logic paradox; Earth creatures should be carbon-based life, right? Why can they transform too?
Also, this armor's metal composition, never before seen, his scanning results just show it as unknown.
And why does he seem to know that he's an Autobot? What should he do?
Bumblebee quickly thought it through, deciding to play dead.
Everything around was still so quiet, in the nighttime, only the insects in the grass made chirping sounds.
Su Ming slapped the hood unhappily; isn't this a waste of time! I've already exposed you, avoiding responsibility is disgraceful and useless!
"Stop pretending, the Decepticons have arrived on Earth, their 'Roadblock' has locked on Sam's position. When Megatron is resurrected, let's see what you'll do."
Bumblebee is very young, and as long as Transformers have sufficient energy, the older they are, the stronger they become.
And in his knowledge, a warrior like Megatron can only be countered by the Autobot leader Optimus Prime.
The car's lights came on, and the radio started constantly switching channels, creating a patchwork of sounds. Bumblebee's language module was damaged, only able to communicate with humans in this way.
"Human... Cyber... tron..."
"Stop, just use the Autobot emblem to call someone directly, hurry and get Ambulance to repair your language module, don't talk for now."
Su Ming left the hood, motioning for Bumblebee to handle it himself.
If he could sigh, Bumblebee certainly would have done so like a human; he found that whatever he intended, this human could guess it.
Not only did he recognize him, he clearly understood the difference between Autobots and Decepticons, and even knew Roadblock and Ambulance.
He couldn't keep up with this thought process, better call the boss to solve it.
With a series of clanging metal sounds, he completed the transformation; standing about ten meters tall, the yellow paint on his exterior looked old, not particularly well-matched with the technologically advanced metallic skeleton underneath.
He took the Autobot emblem from his chest, raising it to the sky, where it emitted a red light into the heavens, and before long, Su Ming could see a string of fireballs streak across the sky.
Optimus Prime's ship, Ark Two, has actually been near Earth all along, and similarly, Red Spider's Revenge Two is also not far away.
The two sides have been playing a cat-and-mouse game around Earth, neither able to catch the other, ultimately having to resolve it on the ground.
"Tsk, this commotion is a bit too big; can't expect the U.S. intelligence agencies to mistake it for a meteor shower. Optimus Prime needs to relocate immediately after landing."
Su Ming felt a bit of a toothache, thinking does the current Earth still think it's full of primitives? Transformers have long been no secret to those truly in power.
Megatron has been studied for over a hundred years, but the existence of mechanical life remains hidden from the general public.
As the meteor fell, the surrounding trees caught fire, and the dirt and rubble flew everywhere, as if they were hit by heavy artillery.
But soon, accompanied by the dense sounds of transformation, some tall figures rose from the forest and approached Su Ming.
Leading the Autobots was a tall figure, easily recognizable by his red and blue paint.
"Don't be afraid, we will never harm humans. Freedom is the right of all intelligent life." He spoke fluent English, his learning module having swiftly mastered the language from the internet: "We are autonomous mechanical life forms from Cybertron, my name is Optimus Prime."
Optimus Prime appeared friendly, seemingly worried about Su Ming's fear, even kneeling on one knee to reduce his height, bringing his large head closer.
"This is my deputy Sir, this is Chief Steward Iron Hide, this is Medical Officer Ambulance, and you've met Bumblebee already. Are you Sam Witwicky? A descendant of Captain Witwicky from the Ark?"
However, Optimus Prime only saw the bizarre human in front of him rise into the air, as if lifted by an invisible hand, reaching the height parallel to the heads of other Transformers, his cloak billowing high.
A hoarse voice responded to him.
"Wrong, not Sam, it's Deathstroke."
"...."
The surrounding environment became quieter, leaving only the crackling sound of flames burning trees, as Optimus Prime stood in a daze as if he had lost power.
The expression of the Autobots was very human-like; Optimus Prime had a metallic mask, but Su Ming could see baffling, incredible, and enigmatic emotions in his eyes.
What? Are humans supposed to look like this? Why doesn't it match the intelligence from early investigations? How is he flying?
Where is Sam? The location of the Star Map and the Fire Source?
"What's going on? Bumblebee?" Optimus Prime was stunned for a long time before turning to ask Bumblebee. Wasn't this agreed upon during the meeting?
Bumblebee and Hot Rod had landed earlier to conduct some preliminary investigations and find the possessor of the Star Map before calling in the main forces to land.
But what was going on now?
"Don't ask him, have Ambulance fix his language module first. Bumblebee broke it during the landing. I don't want to hear any radio noise."
Su Ming quickly interjected, flying around Optimus Prime a few times, carefully examining the leader of the Autobots.
"Besides, this isn't the place to talk. The satellite might have locked onto this location already, we should hide in the city first."
Sir agreed with this suggestion; if they didn't want to notify the spaceship to destroy human satellites, it was best to hide in a crowded area.
Optimus Prime did not hesitate. Given the current situation, it was advisable to quickly find Sam before the Decepticons arrived.
"Autobots, transform!"
..........
Unfortunately, most Transformers cannot reduce their size, and Su Ming couldn't take them into the sewers. Nevertheless, they found a hiding place under a bridge not far from Sam's house.
Afterwards, Su Ming briefly explained the current situation and formally proposed an agreement.
"You plan to go against Megatron? He was once Cybertron's chief military officer, fighting for tens of millions of years."
Upon hearing Su Ming's proposal, Iron Hide was the first to express disbelief, citing the size and weapon disparity, as well as the vast difference in combat experience.
Su Ming remained indifferent, simply looking at Optimus Prime, believing his combat prowess would be evident when encountering Decepticons.
When the time comes, he could even tear Red Spider apart with his bare hands...
"You mentioned borrowing the Fire Source, why?"
Optimus Prime was more concerned about this. The Fire Source, lost on Earth, was once the source of life for Cybertron. Transformers absorbed fixed star energy through it and continued to multiply.
Until Cybertron faced an energy crisis, Megatron planned to drain other fixed stars with the Fire Source to maintain Cybertron's operation.
A star system typically has only one fixed star, and destroying the fixed star often leads to the destruction of the entire star system, causing all organisms within to perish.
Optimus Prime could not allow Megatron to go through with this.
Thus, an internal war broke out, and the Autobots and Decepticons turned Cybertron into ruins.
The significant reduction in population made the energy crisis less prominent, but the hostilities between the two sides escalated, continuing indefinitely.
Ultimately, it was Optimus Prime's tactics that prevailed. He dispatched Iron Hide to attack the 'Peace Hall,' sent Bumblebee to assault the garrison fortress, while he led the science squad to sneak into the storage area of the Fire Source.
Seizing the opportunity while Megatron was fiercely battling Bumblebee, the science squad infused a transport rocket with all remaining energy from Cybertron and launched the Fire Source into the vast cosmos.
Optimus Prime originally intended to abandon the Fire Source, hoping for reconciliation and finding a new path for Cybertron's survival.
But Megatron seemed possessed. He abandoned Bumblebee, boarded his spaceship alone, and immediately took off to pursue the Fire Source.
Seeing this, Optimus Prime knew that if Megatron obtained the Fire Source, countless lives would be endangered, so he took the remaining Autobots in a spaceship to pursue Megatron.
The Fire Source could not be locked using Space Bridge technology and could only be tracked using old methods, so they flew in the cosmos for tens of thousands of years.
However, the Decepticons' ship was a battleship, while the Autobots' was a science exploration ship, unable to keep up.
Megatron reached Earth first, but due to the exhaustion of energy, he crashed his ship before reaching the Fire Source, becoming buried in history due to heavy injuries and lack of energy.
He finally approached the surface through constant geological changes, leading to his discovery by an archaeological team a century ago.
Now, the Autobots' ship has just arrived at the outer edges of the Solar System, followed by another Decepticons warship.
Fortunately, Red Spider didn't seem very passionate about finding Megatron, always stalling, or else the Autobots might have struggled to be the first to arrive on Earth.
