Su Ming has some understanding of the relationships behind the whole affair.
Long ago, he thought that if you ranked by strength, after TOAA there should be the Life Court or the 'Pivot', transcenders, Transcendent Divine Race, these All-Powerful Cosmic Level beings.
However, with the increasing amount of comic reading, he found that other powerful entities were no less numerous, like the previously mentioned 'God of Gods', also known as 'Those Who Sit Above in Shadow'.
A secret group of Ancient Gods, also the backstage manipulators behind the Twilight of the Gods.
In the Marvel World, they are neither humans nor gods, nor a conceptual existence, they have no origin or end, are not created nor have created anything.
They are the God of Gods sitting in the shadows above the All-Powerful Universe, coldly observing all the different levels and tiers of Creator God's everything.
They cannot be explained and are seldom mentioned by gods, they have infinite power, transcend all logic, casually altering universe settings, transcending all undefined phenomena, transcending all meaning and cause and effect.
And all this, for them, is only one aspect of infinite power, or utterly negligible.
God of Gods is eternally in shadow, no one can see their true face, and as a group, it includes many females.
With the point that Marvel's super-powerful characters are like avatars of real-world important figures, the God of Gods may refer to some real-life department overseeing comic publications.
Ordinarily, they don't appear, but once someone attempts to hinder the Twilight of the Gods, they will directly extract this person out of dimensions, shackling them in the empty darkness on the world's reverse side.
DC's reverse side has the Dark Multiverse, while in Marvel here, shadows hover over all worlds, with nothing but darkness there.
Even if the imprisoned could return to Marvel, it would be too late.
At first, it seemed interesting when reading comics, but when actually within comics universe, these guys are no mere avatars, they are truly the God of Gods, even the future Rune King Thor is just a toy before them.
They will adhere to established principles to maintain the Twilight of the Gods, thereby extending the cycle repeatedly.
The Nine Realms are born, gods appear, Twilight of the Gods, all things perish.
Endlessly repeating this cycle.
This is why Loki commands Zemo to sever the Line of Destiny and even strangles the Goddess of Destiny; perhaps he lives in the future, but his heart is already dead.
That is his protest against the endless cycle of destiny, expressed ironically as a dark joke.
The Ancient One supports the continuation of the Twilight of the Gods cycle, after all, for the survival of the universe, every god in a monistic universe is actually like a tree being nurtured by higher beings.
When the gods grow tall and sturdy like the World Tree, lush with branches and leaves, the Marvel World will harvest them, chop them into firewood, and feed it into the machine called 'Marvel Universe', providing energy for the survival of the All-Powerful Universe.
Then, through one person's hand, the gods are reshaped, like replanting trees after deforestation, waiting for them to grow again, perpetuating this cycle.
This person is Loki, the God of Story.
In the scripts of God of Gods and the Life Court, he has no other roles; he is the Fire Seed, and also the sapling.
Perhaps the future Loki perceives something, using the story to resurrect the gods is not an end, but a new beginning.
Therefore, now he wants to escape, to flee with his family, evading this terrifying future, especially to him, the eternally endless cyclical future.
Sounds quite pitiful, but Su Ming will not soften.
He stands with the Ancient One in that the Twilight of the Gods must proceed, and the universe must continue.
Even if this seems entirely villainous by pushing Loki's family and everyone in Asgard into the destined furnace...
But Deathstroke is a mercenary, isn't he? Why care about the perceptions of others about good and evil?
Continuing the Marvel Universe benefits Su Ming more.
And assisting Loki's escape, what can be gained? The gratitude of the Odinson family? What's it worth?
Of course, Su Ming had already given Loki a heads-up, but Loki seemed to have forgotten Su Ming's teachings and still chose this path.
If Loki remembered the 'Will of Fire', remembered that Asgard is a place where leaves fly, then he should understand, fire never perishes.
This is real life, not a game, and there's no option to not pass on the flame here.
Back then, he spoke with his heart on a whim, didn't expect things to develop to this point, and truly relates to the tragic fate of the gods.
Maybe Loki remembers but doesn't believe, he's planning to experiment.
Then Su Ming had to wake him up and let him personally send his loved ones into the furnace, while warming the Marvel Universe and those around Su Ming during the cold winter night.
Deathstroke was never simply a good guy or a bad guy, he is just a self-centered individual, his original goal was to safeguard Gin because she was useful, and now he's just tying up loose ends in a complicated situation.
The only tricky part is Gin's bloodline, half Asgardian, half Warnerheim, equating to being on the execution list in the Twilight of the Gods.
Loki thinks perhaps for this reason, he can persuade Deathstroke to work together, helping Asgard escape the Marvel Universe.
But Su Ming chose a difficult path, he wants to ensure Marvel's survival in the world-ending flames, while also ensuring Gin doesn't become part of the firewood.
He has a plan.
He possesses intelligence and strategy not inferior to Batman, but without Batman's good temper; if someone or god wants to come hard, then let them try...
Thinking about these matters, Su Ming steps out of the Secret Guest's Teleportation Gate, this is the very center of Hel's palace now, with Tyr and Fenrir present.
In the hall constructed of black rocks, even when the throne is empty, Tyr stands straight beneath the Imperial Steps, loyal in duty, the green flames in the tall fireplace make him look as if forged from steel.
Strictly speaking, he indeed exemplifies a warrior, a competent Guard Captain.
Sadly, he stands on the opposite side at present; he has done nothing wrong, in the whole affair he's even an outsider, Loki's storybook never mentions his name, nor does the plan involve him.
But he has to die, his blind loyalty to Hel, even defying Odin's command to resurrect him.
If Su Ming intends to deal with Loki, first he needs to eliminate the highly powerful Hel, then use her guard's soul to provoke her, is an effective tactic.
Secret Guest is the Lord of Hell, may not know Hamill's soul-torturing magic, but Hell Border has already taught her.
Using a War God that strengthens after death as Secret Guest's graduation exam, this should be more real than Xavier Academy's graduation exams, right?
Su Ming tilted his head, signaling Secret Guest to directly confront Tyr, while his gaze fell on the throne's other side, where a huge shadow observed everyone with green eyes.
Indoors, Fenrir's size appears larger, the chill expelled from its mouth is exceptionally clear against the backdrop of green fire.
