Chapter 829 - Chapter 784: Blind Men Touching an Elephant

"Cough cough, disperse now. Find a place to rest yourselves, and if you have excess energy, help clean up a bit."

Bruce waved his hand in front of him, scattering the dust swirling in the air. The throne room of the Eternal Rock was like a garbage dump, never cleaned.

The throne room is located at the core of the Eternal Rock, an underground space shaped like a scallop. On the side of the fan shape are high steps with seven stone tablets, carved with ancient characters recording the history of the Magic Realm.

Before the stone tablets are seven tall stone thrones, now covered completely with dust and clutter.

The Shazam Clan occasionally comes here. A few levels above this is a teleportation hub, with a door directly connecting to a closet in their home.

However, this dark and solemn hall doesn't quite fit the kids' taste. They use it as storage, piling up things that don't fit at home here.

For instance, trophies obtained from minor villains or things like building blocks, puzzles, broken game consoles, and the like.

Bo Bo held his hat in his hand, covering his mouth like an anti-toxic mask, breathing with sounds akin to a Black Knight.

"I never thought the Eternal Rock was such a shabby place. Dust has dulled the sheen of my gorilla fur."

Bruce picked a throne, tossed aside the toys on it, and sat down to rest: "This is just a safehouse, a little dirt is no issue. Right now, besides me and Luthor, no one can find this place."

"Not even Shazam?"

Bo Bo hopped onto the chair armrest, squatted on it, watching the young ones exploring the hall.

"If I'm not mistaken, even if the Shazam Clan hasn't lost their divine power, they are rather unaccustomed to the new Magic Realm. Kids, you know. I've had the Inverted Man seal their teleportation gate, so they won't figure out how to come back here for a while."

Bruce smiled as he answered Bo Bo's question, resting his head on the cool throne to cool down. Things were getting a bit chaotic, and even he felt a bit of brain overload, heating up his mind.

First and foremost, find an easily defendable, strategically placed location to ensure his safety before pursuing the next steps.

Currently here are the Titan Squad and Shadow Contract teams, alongside Trish, Bo Bo, Harley, and Bruce, totaling 13 people.

Ivy has been sent by Bruce to the Amazon River Basin, according to the plan, to contact the Tree Council and Hundred Flowers Council. If things go smoothly, she will use the power of Green of All Things to teleport to a plant that Harley carries.

By then, Bruce will start establishing the three Holy of Holies, thereby forming an Earth barrier. Before Ivy returns, others will stay to set up defense measures, while Bruce will go meet up with Diana and Green Arrow.

Originally, it was a straightforward battle between the Justice League and the Destruction Legion, like chess, black and white, castle versus castle, knight versus knight.

But Luthor's maneuvers changed things dramatically; what was chess suddenly became a monopoly game.

Bruce could only take cautious steps to observe the scene, now information was cut off, and how many monsters had invaded the Main World was unknown even to him.

Even if the Earth barrier is established, the monsters that have already infiltrated need to be cleared out manually.

"But now the Justice League's strength is scattered, I'm worried Batman can't hold it." After hearing Bruce's plan, Bo Bo showed a conflicted expression. Deathstroke's stealth strategy is good, but the prerequisite is that the Justice League withstands everyone else's assault.

If the Justice League falls, even though Deathstroke is in a safe zone, turning things around would be difficult.

"The Justice League won't crumble so easily. Though I've pulled Diana and Green Arrow away, Batman still has Superman, The Flash, Sea King. The Titan Squad, Young Justice League, Warhawk and Dove, Dark Justice League are also there. He has plenty of hands to use." Bruce closed his eyes, slowing his breathing: "If monsters invade the Main World, the Shadow Bureau and Celestial Eye Association will also intervene, not to mention Assassin Alliance, Shogi Association, Cold Flame Association, Hexagram, these forces will act. I don't want to wade into these waters, my sole aim is the door handle."

"Don't you want the Totality?" The gorilla tentatively asked, his big dark eyes looking at Bruce.

"Something tells me it's not a good thing...." Bruce sighed, standing up, looking helplessly at Harley beside him.

She had somehow found a toy rocking horse, now riding it, scraping noisily on the ground.... it's driving him nuts.

"Harley, could you please join them playing 'Brave Game'? This creaky rocking horse is giving me a headache!"

Bruce clutched his head, walking to her side helplessly. The room is illuminated only by magic torches, everything appears eerie.

Harley looked up, feeling wronged, pointing at the Young Justice League members to complain: "They won't play with me!"

Bruce sighed again, Harley knew the true identities of the Bat Clan, so no problem with using real names: "Damian! Take Harley with you to play!"

Damian turned to glance at Bruce, reluctantly pouting, he was pondering something along with Himeko, not playing like the other three were.

But since Deathstroke had spoken, no matter how many opinions Damian had about Harley, he could only endure it. He covered his face and moved aside: "Come on."

"Yay~~~" Harley jumped off the rocking horse, raised her hands, and ran into the Teen Titans, sitting on the floor. Even though she would still make a fuss during a game of cards, it was much better than the sound of twisting wood.

"Fireball Technique!" Su Ming directly burned the broken rocking horse. He didn't care whose childhood memento it was from the Shazam Clan. Now it was just an additional light source: "Damian, come over."

Damian came over, looking up at Su Ming, emotionless, waiting for orders.

"I'm going out for a bit. After this, all security work is up to you. Either the enemy won't come, or if they do, it will be the entire Destruction Legion. You need to be prepared to deal with Luthor and the others."

Damian's eyes flickered for a moment, a frontline supervillain, indeed.

"Understood." He turned his head and left. It was a challenge, but also a rare opportunity.

"Can he really do it?" Bo Bo scratched his head, watching Damian move to an empty corner to hide. He felt the game was unreliable.

Su Ming's mouth hardly moved, answering in a small voice: "Not much of a problem. Black Alice is staying here. As long as she can mimic both Crush and Wally's abilities, at least she can handle Cheetah. Banshee and Night Shadow can deal with Sinestro, and Blue Demon and Harley are immune to mind control, countering Grud. Everyone else will fiercely attack Luthor, and he will surely retreat."

"Uh... it sounds like Shadow Contract is doing all the work, so why did you put Damian of the Teen Titans in charge?" Bo Bo scratched his head.

Su Ming gave Bo Bo a half-smile: "You guess?"

Little Fortune Ape flipped the small table in his heart.

..........................

Batman had already returned to the Hall of Justice and was typing on the keyboard in the control room, trying to use burst communication technology to restore global monitoring. After all, even he had no external intelligence now, making it impossible to make judgments.

Besides Joker, no one would really act blindly in such darkness.

Clark had been sent off Earth to see if he could repair the satellites in space, while Barry was sent to deal with some emerging monsters around the world.

They had already caused significant casualties. People who had survived the flood were already tense, and now this...

Batman had decided to not restore communication between ordinary people for now. Once the world was fully stabilized, then they could have the freedom of expression rights.

The current primary objective was to defeat the Destruction Legion and the Laughing Bat. As for civil rights, on the brink of doomsday, they were the least noticeable issue.

Can Luo was placed on a nearby table, occasionally chatting a bit with Sea Star.

Megan stood behind him, helping him contact the other two of the Trinity. However, the recent bad news was that Atlantis could no longer be of assistance, as plenty of sinister deep-sea monsters were emerging from the depths.

Now Arthur, Mera, and even the heavily injured Om, along with Admiral Nu Tao and the Alien Sea Race, and the Atlantis Royal Fleet, were all trying their best to keep the sea monsters from landing, leaving them with no extra manpower.

All available personnel had been dispatched to places in need of support, leaving the Hall of Justice once again in a weak defensive position.

"Barry, report the situation."

"Malta, Cape of Good Hope, Madagascar... Do you realize these monsters can climb skyscrapers? These damn things suck blood faster than Divine Speed!" Barry's voice came through the Mind Link.

Batman calmly replied, "People have already been dispatched. Those with flying abilities have been scattered into other teams."

"I've got problems here too. The satellites destroyed by the Alien Sea Gods have been reduced to molecular status, and Luthor has spread some Kryptonite Powder in Earth's orbit. I can't leave Earth at the moment," Clark's voice followed.

Batman continued typing on the keyboard with an expressionless face, while communicating with Superman mentally: "Return to the Hall, I'll notify the Science Squad to reassemble some communication spy satellites."

Megan floated behind Bruce, watching the numbers scroll down the screen. She could help Batman contact most known heroes, but he didn't allow her to do so.

He was probably worried about her being overwhelmed by a flood of negative emotions, though she felt she was ready. It seemed she'd have to wait for her uncle to return and help speak with Batman.

She didn't know that even if Ron tried to talk, it wouldn't help.

Although her past performance proved her trustworthiness and reliability, letting a White Martian near large amounts of negative emotions and darkness, who could guarantee Megan wouldn't awaken a dark side?

Batman didn't even trust himself, let alone the White Martians, who were infamous for their ferocity across the cosmos.
