Someone took the greatest secret of the universe for himself, and this is what Wanda did in the past as he carefully guarded the meteor fragments and explored the knowledge within.
Throughout his long life, besides dealing with rivals like Hawkman and Hawk Woman, he spent most of his time on the second meteor.
The messages, or rather the powers within, were truly beyond human comprehension, requiring him to use his long life to unravel them.
He needed magic, spirit, technology, and various forms of assistance, none of which he possessed himself.
Therefore, he once traveled to ancient Atlantis, seeking the help of the great hero Aryan, but a few centuries later, Aryan's life abruptly ended with the Tear of Extinction.
Wanda made some progress, though it was far from enough, realizing the might of the gods, he then waited for thousands of years, earning the favor of the War God Ares through his brave and fearless performance in the arena of Ancient Rome.
With the War God's help, he purified the meteor with the hammer of fury, weakening the barrier of the fragment.
Later, Wanda sought out King Arthur, who not only had the Round Table Knights but also the most powerful sorcerer group at the time, the Merlin Mage Association.
Great Mage Merlyn, Lake Fairy Vivian, Morgan Le Fay, Lady Shangdu. In an era when the gods no longer walked the world, these people were the forces that could change the world.
The warlocks transformed the irregular meteor into a spherical shape.
In the following millennium, Wanda found many people, including scientists, artists, warlocks, and mental patients, and the secrets of the meteor became fewer and fewer.
But like all research work, the last step is always the hardest, so around 1960, Wanda found Lionel Luthor, a then relatively unknown genius scientist.
"I need you to lead humanity into a new era, are you up for the task?" Wanda asked.
"Yes, I can." Old Luthor held the meteor fragment, his eyes engulfed in gold.
Time flew by, Lionel aided Wanda in various experiments, he understood five of the seven forces contained in the meteor through his demonstrations.
Static Force, Invisible Light, Tear of Extinction, Power of Life, Power of Dimension.
Brainiac paused Luthor's recollection scene, the young Luthor was looking at his father in his memory, the green-skinned alien asked, "So magic or witchcraft is not one of the seven Dark Creation Powers? And metals aren't either?"
Luthor laughed, his plan indeed deceived everyone: "I never said it was, did I? In fact, by pulling Hecate and Circe into a heap of our targets, it successfully diverted the Justice League's attention, and now besides us, no one in the Multiverse knows the truth."
"Is X Metal not one either?"
"X Metal is the metal that created our current world, but in the future, we won't need them; rather, N Metal is used to unlock the roadmap for the Power of Dimension, and we need the Justice League to do that now."
Luthor continued with the scene in front of him, which was one of his preferred results, the Justice League saw the five lines light up on his Door Handle of Destruction, knowing he had unlocked five powers.
But one of them was not the "witchcraft" that also came from beyond the Origin Wall, but the "entropy" originally inherent in the universe, also called "potential."
Luthor's research over the years discovered this sixth power, contained in the bodies of humans, Mars People, and other beings.
So it had always been in Luthor's possession, in essence, it was the first power he acquired.
A little negligence sometimes is fatal, and differing knowledge of dimensions determined that the showdown between the Destruction Legion and the Justice League was already set.
"I guess the seventh power is Papetua itself, therefore, we currently possess six Dark Creation Powers, just missing the Power of Dimension." Brainiac nodded.
"My friend, as long as we wait for the Justice League to blaze the trail, we can sit back and reap the benefits." Luthor casually replied, looking at the scene before him.
As for Genesis, the plan seen in the Bible was merely brought forth to mislead the Justice League due to some overlap with the real plan.
At this point, Luthor no longer saw the need to hide.
On the tactical level, he was indeed no match for Deathstroke and Batman, but on the strategic level, he won.
As for what the doomed world would become, wrecked by the Laughing Bat, it no longer mattered, this was the foundation that made alliance possible.
Because the Laughing Bat just wanted to win.
The Joker may or may not have seen this, no one can understand that madman's thoughts, but this time he stood opposed to Luthor, so he died.
The scenes in memory continued, Luthor kept explaining to Brainiac.
His father, while investigating these powers of Creation, also discovered more and more secrets, such as the potential of humanity being locked down, he hoped to unlock this potential and transform humanity into a superior species.
This was the Neo-Human race plan of Luthor.
However, Wanda and Old Luthor's opinions increasingly diverged, as the wildman had another view of the existence of the Totality, believing it would lead to the destruction of the Multiverse and should be avoided at all costs.
One wanted to evade the crisis, while the other saw the crisis as an opportunity for rebirth.
After a young Luthor released the Martian test subject Ron, Wanda finally found the excuse and opportunity he needed.
He kicked old Luthor out of the research institute 'Veterans Club', erased all his past memories, and implanted false memories of a drunkard, addict, loser, and violent maniac.
At the same time, he also wiped out little Luthor's memories before the age of eight and dumped the father and son in a small town in Kansas.
Wanda hid the Door Handle of Destruction made from meteorite fragments, believing everything to be unknown to all, only for today's Lex Luthor to find a way to cross time and space, retrieve all his past memories, and learn everything.
This led to Luthor killing Wanda, forming the Destruction Legion, and launching a series of plans.
Everything was to continue his father's unfinished business, allowing humanity to be reborn and become a better version of itself.
As for whether he would become a god in the new world, he didn't care.
Because only a fool would proclaim themselves a god; no matter the origin of a god, it is humans who elevate these beings to the Divine Altar.
What Luthor did seems bad now, but once the new world is truly built, people will understand his intentions.
His whole life has been a struggle for the rise of humanity, and if the plan goes smoothly, neo-humans will be the most powerful beings in the Cosmos.
Ancient, backward, and a hindrance to progress, the old humans will disappear along with this doomed Multiverse.
.................
Usually, at this time of day, Clark Kent should be sitting in his home or a room in the Hall of Justice, on the computer sending and receiving emails, staring blankly at the blinking cursor.
Who says Superman is always energized when he just wakes up? Like humans, when he gets up too early, he yawns incessantly and craves a cup of coffee with extra sugar.
But not today; the impact of the flood is too severe, and the Hall of Justice has been destroyed by the Laughing Bat.
After the Justice League's review meeting last night, everyone dispersed again to settle their families. He is now staying with Louise and his son Jonathan Kent on his mother's farm in Kansas.
Renovating a small wooden house ravaged by floods is no trouble for Superman. In front of his family, he doesn't need to hide his superpowers. After returning last night, his old home was restored in no time, as long as the family is safe, everything is fine.
But early this morning, Martha was already in the kitchen preparing her apple pie, making noise that Superman couldn't ignore.
The caramelized scent of apples and cheese heating made him feel dazed, as if everything that happened was just a dream.
But he soon came to his senses; the difficulties the Justice League faced recently were not illusions.
This inevitably made him anxious, a string in his heart suddenly tightening.
"Clark, are you awake?" Louise snuggled against him with her eyes closed; it was still too early, and they never got up this early.
Moreover, everything after yesterday's flood exhausted both body and mind.
"Yes, Martha is up earlier than us." Clark rubbed his hair, taking old-fashioned glasses from the bedside table and putting them on, suspecting that, like Batman, his fake identity was starting to encroach on his true self.
He'd grown accustomed to wearing these glasses at all times.
"We don't have to go to work today, remember? The newspaper was flooded." Louise insisted, her hand on Superman's strong chest. "What time did you get back last night? Four o'clock?"
"I forgot, probably around midnight." Clark kissed her, got up, and put on his uniform. "But I have to handle Justice League matters now; you stay home and take care of Martha and Joe."
"Really..." Louise reluctantly sat up, scratching her hair with the blanket, the sunlight giving her a golden halo. "Can't Batman cover for you for a while? I mean, an hour or two."
"Sorry, dear, the bad guys won't give us time to sleep in."
Clark shook his head with a smile. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with his family, but Ron's telepathic communication had come through, and Batman had already arrived in Metropolis.
"Okay, stay safe, Luthor always gives me the creeps." Louise nodded obediently, watching as Superman pushed the window open and flew out of the room.
Flying in the sky, the first rays of sunlight cast on the red cape, making Clark feel familiar power. He flipped over while flying swiftly, letting the sunlight warm his chest, with the S emblem.
"Alright, Ron, I'm on my way, but I might take a moment to assist civilians with immediate problems, so the arrival time may be a few minutes."
But before Ron could reply, Batman's voice hit the channel, and Clark suddenly felt enveloped by darkness.
"I'm Batman. You have one minute."
