"The map is in your hands, and there's a strange dimension above my dimension."
Saying this, the Troublemaker pulled the disc in his hand up and down, turning it into a semi-transparent spherical body. The sphere was divided into two halves: the upper half contained 52 small white dots representing the Bright Multiverse.
The lower half held 52 small black dots, some of which were broken and dim, representing the Dark Multiverse.
The sphere had layers like some kind of fruit—Divine Speed, Spirit Thin Prison, Divine Domain, Purgatory, and the outermost being the Origin Wall.
Four channels interlaced in a cross shape through the Blood Domain, with Celestial Blood flowing within them.
At the very top of the sphere, there was a blank space, resembling the ice-covered Arctic, indicating the place he mentioned.
It's called the Sixth Dimension, yet it exists within the Multiverse, quite strange.
"Could it be 5.5 dimensions? Like an attic." Star Hero laughed and quietly asked Barry beside him, "By the way, are there still attics now?"
Barry shook his head, looking around like a thief, and whispered, "Sorry, buddy, that publisher's content was too 'hardcore' and went bankrupt back in 2003. But if you like that kind of book, 'Playboy' is still around."
"Alright, Cosmic Hippie, don't flaunt your ignorance." The Troublemaker gave Star Hero a disdainful look. "Whatever attic you mean, what I'm talking about is the equivalent of the main control room of the entire Multiverse. Two billion years ago, your Multiverse was formed by Papetua, and she entered this Multiverse. She lived for a long time in that blank space. If you want to find a solution now, you can only try the Sixth Dimension."
Superman and Batman exchanged glances, frowning: "I always thought our world was created by God; the Ghost always said so."
"That big fool wearing a green hat?" The Troublemaker showed a peculiar expression: "I'm not sure if God exists, so why don't you pray quickly and see if He cares about you?"
"Enough, we're going to the Sixth Dimension. The map is here. Can you help us find a way to get there?"
Batman interrupted the digression, preferring not to think about the Magic Realm and Divine Realm, which wouldn't help the current situation.
"Well, if I do my best, maybe now that the Origin Wall is gone, I really can open the door to the Sixth Dimension for you. But it's very dangerous there." The Troublemaker touched his chin, calculating something unknown.
Diana raised her hand: "Wait, wasn't our original plan to have the Troublemaker help us capture Luthor? How did this suddenly become about going to an unknown dimension?"
"Because everything originates from Papetua. If we have a chance now to resolve the Multiverse crisis, dealing with Luthor's Destruction Legion will be much easier. In the East, this is called taking the fire out from under the pot." Ron supported Bruce's decision.
The Troublemaker dug at his earwax; Ron's idiomatic expression made him cringe: "It's taking the firewood from under the cauldron. I suggest you make a decision early before it becomes too late."
Star Hero looked at everyone; the members of the Justice League were all in thought. As an elder, he felt not only should he make up for his mistakes but also prevent future dangers: "Wait, you said the Fifth Dimension is imagination beyond time, right?"
"Correct." Little Demon nodded.
"Then you can see the future. Can you tell us how we can win?" Star Hero noticed a blind spot.
The Troublemaker rolled his eyes: "Do you think a straight line on blank paper can understand what you're thinking? So my answer is — no!"
"Since everything there transcends our imagination, how can we be sure we can survive?" Wonder Woman still had doubts and even wanted to contact Deathstroke for his opinion.
Entering an unknown world, maybe Deathstroke would have some information?
It's just an intuition with no reason behind it. She felt that Deathstroke might know something about higher dimensions.
Compared to the unrestrained Troublemaker, Deathstroke's seemingly outrageous actions were actually quite proper.
The Troublemaker floated up and nodded at Diana: "Good question, Little Wonder. Everything in high dimensions could scramble your weak brains into mush. For you, that's indescribable. But except for him."
He pointed to Superman.
"Me?" Superman pointed to himself, unable to see how he was stronger than the others. Maybe his brain had thinking speed difficult for most to surpass, but when it came to logic and thought process, Batman was still superior.
The Troublemaker's head bobbed up and down as if the small hat was about to fall off: "Yes, you. During all our previous interactions, I kept infusing you with Fifth-dimensional energy, which is very beneficial now."
Clark recalled those past pranks, frowning: "So you foresaw this day long ago."
"Ah, yes, I knew this would happen because with you guys pursuing 'the truth,' the universe breaks down only now..." The Troublemaker spread his hands helplessly, making the Justice League members feel somewhat shameful: "I'm one of the strongest among the Five-dimensional People. Even if it seemed excessive to play around before, I'm actually on your side."
"So, even though Superman goes ahead as a vanguard, can you give him some protection, like imagine an armor or something?"
Star Hero wasn't too familiar with the Troublemaker but wanted to strive to get Superman some insurance,
Little Demon crossed his legs in midair, shaking his head continuously as he slowly descended: "Sorry, I can't. Everything I can conceive is limited to below the Fifth Dimension. Such things are useless in the Sixth Dimension. Just compare the numbers, Cosmic Hippie."
"No more talking, I'll go." Superman stood up. If a way to save the Multiverse could be found, taking some risks wouldn't be a problem.
In the Justice League, besides himself, maybe only Ron has such strong survival ability. But Mars People's weaknesses are too apparent, and flames are readily available to enemies representing Destruction.
And his weaknesses, Kryptonite, Red Sun, Powerful Magic, Psychic Ability, although seemingly more than Ron's, can't be used against him unless prepared in advance.
No matter how you think about it, it seems more appropriate for myself to go.
"Wait, Clark, we're facing something we don't understand right now, and although we've decided to go, the preparations must be done, rather than act without any preparation now."
Batman stood up and voiced his opinion; he decided to go, but he wanted to go alone.
For now, he would hold Superman back, wait for the Troublemaker to open the Door, and then rush in directly, adapting as needed.
That's Batman's style.
However, Clark pressed his shoulder and shook his head at him: "We don't have time, we're unsure of the progress over at the Destruction Legion; as you said, we must fight for time."
"But we're just heroes in the Material Universe; the risks are the same for us." Batman knew Superman had seen through his strategy; when dealing with him, the intelligence of Kryptonians often kicks back online.
Superman nodded, looking into Batman's eyes: "I know, this is beyond our level, but we are the Justice League, when facing difficulties, we will...."
"Implement justice more deeply," Batman sighed and shook his head helplessly: "You know, I can't substitute for you, not even for an hour."
Superman shook his head, smiled, and high-fived him: "I know, I'll be careful, maybe in less than an hour, I'll bring back good news because... I'm Batman, haha, Steel Bone was right, I've learned very well."
Batman was speechless; he knew Clark said this joke to lighten the atmosphere, but Batman from the Main World had become too many in recent days.
"Does anyone else have a different opinion?" Superman turned to look at the others, and apart from Green Arrow who had been silent throughout, everyone else nodded firmly.
Since it was for justice, Superman had the corresponding resolve, and then let's try it.
Seeing everyone agreed, at least Diana and Bruce did, Superman made up his mind.
He turned towards the Little Demon floating nearby: "You heard it, open the door."
"Hmm~~~ Hey~~~~ Ho~~~~ Ha!!!"
The Troublemaker made sounds like he was constipated, holding his head and bouncing around in the air like a deflating balloon, then he assumed the 'Turtle Style Qi Gong' posture and pushed sharply forward, and suddenly a door emerged in the purple light.
"Alright, quickly go in!" He urged Superman.
Superman walked over, opened the door, and gave a sunny smile to the people behind him: "I'll be back soon."
With that, he strode inside, and the door closed behind him instantly.
"...."
"...."
The Justice League members looked at each other, but ultimately all eyes fell on Batman.
"Seems like it worked?" Barry asked uncertainly, circling the door several times before running in front of Ron, asking, "Can you still sense him?"
Mars Hunter shook his head: "No, all connections have been severed."
Batman rubbed his chin and added: "He went to a Dimension beyond time; we don't even know when he will return, maybe in the next second, maybe after the Cosmos is destroyed..."
Yet as they were speaking, the door standing there suddenly made a sound of turning the Door Handle.
An elderly version of Superman pushed open the door, walking out with a face full of smiles.
His hair was graying, but the red and blue suit was gone, replaced by a new outfit with a white base and gold pattern, and the S on his chest was gleaming under the hall lights.
"Sorry I took so long; it's great to rejoin everyone, guys."
With that, Superman showed a bright and sunny smile, his pristine uniform making him seem to glow.
In contrast, the rest of the Justice League members appeared dark and dreary in comparison, like rats.
"Are we sure it's him?" Bruce gestured to Ron, his hand already on his belt, not having anticipated Superman demanding to go in, but he always carried the 'Five-Finger Death Punch' with him.
It consisted of five different colors of Kryptonite from various Parallel Universes, guaranteed to bring disaster to any Superman punched by it.
Ron looked at the aged Superman in some surprise; he could sense Superman's power had grown stronger, and if before they were evenly matched, now Superman felt like a vast ocean.
From physical strength to soul power, much stronger than ten seconds ago.
"I'm sure, at least from my ability's perspective, it's him."
Mars Hunter confidently replied, trusting his abilities.
