Poor Earth, now it looks like this.
Although no one said it out loud, you could see from everyone's expressions and eyes that what they were thinking was pretty much the same.
Su Ming took off the cloak, transforming it into a gigantic flying carpet, carrying everyone towards Miracle Cliff.
The flying altitude was not high, and the speed was not fast, just to allow everyone to clearly see the surroundings.
On the ground, there was nothing but yellow earth and gravel, in the sky, nothing but the sun and purple magic light, and apart from the sound of the wind, everything here was silent.
"I'm afraid they've even eaten the larger stones," Wally whispered to a few members of the Teen Titans, who were now sitting in a row as if they were on a school bus heading to class.
Himeko didn't pay attention to him and instead kept her eyes on her brother, who hadn't said a word since they arrived here.
For some reason, she felt that Oliver's presence was becoming more and more faint, which was certainly a good thing for an archer assassin, but for a superhero...
Green Arrow had actually been standing next to Deathstroke and Bo Bo all along, but everyone seemed unable to see him.
And he himself said nothing, as if enjoying this dramatic silence.
"Are you watching your brother?"
A red and blue-haired head suddenly emerged from behind her. Harley was behind her, with her signature smile, her chin swinging like it was dislocated.
"Yes, he said Deathstroke gave him some equipment that enhanced his abilities significantly, but if I don't keep my eyes on him, I wouldn't even feel there's a living person there."
Himeko whispered. She wasn't averse to people like Harley, as their experiences were very similar, both having once been crazed killers, now in a stage of reform.
Harley glanced at Green Arrow, stuck out her tongue: "It's normal, humans always fail to notice the existence of sin. Green Arrow is now a mass of human-shaped sin, perfectly concealed."
Himeko didn't expect Harley to say something so philosophical and looked at her with a strange expression.
Seeing her look, Harley pouted: "I went to college too, you know?"
With that, she slipped away again, finding it truly difficult to converse with kids.
Deathstroke said it was to let everyone see the scenery and get ready, but all that met the eyes was desert, where was there any scenery to look at? If you wanted to see barren lands like this, you could simply go near the Grand Canyon, why bother coming to another dimension,
So, after the novelty wore off, most of them began focusing on preparing their weapons and tools.
Soon after, the island floating in mid-air became larger and larger, until it occupied the entire view of everyone.
It was a piece of rock, like an upside-down mountain, with strange buildings piled on top, vaguely white spots could be seen, pillars made from some giant creature's spine.
Unlike the yellow ground, all the buildings were blood red, with pointed roofs like a bunch of chaotic spiky balls.
Several strands of purple magic energy hung down from the sky, encircling the island like a cradle, and many scattered fragments of rock floated anti-gravitationally around the large island.
"This is too big, a city about the size of New York State, and with this building density, are they ants?" Bo Bo couldn't help but complain, this was his first time seeing the Xida people's stronghold.
An impoverished and desolate giant barbarian's camp, he wasn't at all surprised people living in such places would resort to cannibalism.
Su Ming extinguished his cigarette butt, the mask once more covering his face: "The Xida People are all soldiers, and each one like a weaker version of Mars people, there are at least billions in this giant nest capital. If I tell you to retreat, you must immediately comply, understood?"
"Billions of Mars Hunters? Shouldn't we reconsider?" Bo Bo displayed an earnest expression of panic.
It was clear with just a glance that these people were not animal conservationists; they even used whale bones to build houses, and he didn't want to become some Xida leader's scarf.
"We're here to give the kids eye-openers, what's with you getting your eyes opened first..." Su Ming helplessly slumped his shoulders.
"Alright, once inside, you have to keep protecting me, don't leave me behind during retreat and force me to hide in the sewers, living off my own arm." Bo Bo realized that acting timid didn't work and knew Deathstroke was dead set.
Su Ming took a deep breath and drew out the black giant sword: "Cloak, ascend, we're entering from the bottom of the city."
Oliver finally spoke his first words: "Sewers again?"
The cloak replaced words with actions, flying towards the area where sewage flowed.
................
And so the tour for the group began here, everyone unanimously agreed that this was the cleanest sewer they had ever seen, not even a single rat, let alone flies and cockroaches.
It proved that no matter how strong these animals and insects' reproductive abilities, once they became part of human diets, extinction was not far away.
After listening to Deathstroke's guided tour, although the place was very clean, everyone occasionally gagged.
The city's water source, unknown where it came from, these strange people showed no sign of conservation, discharging sewage directly above the wilderness, as if water wasn't valuable at all.
But this has nothing to do with Su Ming. After wandering in the narrow underground network for half a day, he encountered quite a few Xida People. These freaks were almost instantly targeted by everyone and were taken down without even making a sound.
Bo Bo finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although Deathstroke said that there were Mars People's level, it seems now that it's only limited to strength.
The Xida People, although their hair is tentacles, their skin glows green, and their teeth and nails are as sharp as those of a Demon.
They are clearly still some form of human, lacking transformation ability, and no telepathy ability, they are rather easy to deal with.
Of course, it's easy for monsters like Deathstroke; to him, these Xida People are still quite terrifying despite being a harmless Gorilla.
Given the Xida People don't even look human, almost everyone went ruthless. Even Damian reminisced about the days beside his grandfather, he hadn't had this kind of killing spree in a while.
Strangulation swallowed some flesh and blood, feeding some data back to the Host, which made Su Ming raise his eyebrows.
The genes of these Xida People are 99% identical to humans, it's just certain undecipherable gene sequences that give them physical prowess beyond humans.
Unfortunately, their overly developed bodies always feel hungry preventing them from developing technology. No matter how strong someone is, how many bullets can they withstand?
Actually, initially, some young people still held fantasies, hoping there might be good Xida People.
But these freaks, upon seeing so many people, their first response wasn't to flee but to emit red light from their eyes, drooling as they lunged towards everyone.
Obviously, communication was impossible; only dead Xida People are good Xida People.
"Didn't obtain any useful memories, these guys are merely the lowest slaves of society, living in darkness, hoping to scavenge crumbs of meat in sewage for survival."
Bo Bo, by Su Ming's side, said as the two led the way.
Detective Gorilla leisurely placed an unlit cigar in his mouth: "Where exactly are you planning to take us?"
"Looking for any humans still captive in the city, letting the young ones see how the enemy treats us, hatred should be instilled from an early age."
Su Ming answered quickly, swinging the Giant Sword in his hand, and slashing the Xida People hiding around the corner, along with the wall.
The fallen monster hadn't fully died, Su Ming supplemented with a kick using his shoe sole. The clash of metal and ground echoed slowly in the dark tunnel, as he waved off the meat scraps on his sword:
"We need to destroy this Dimension, and let others know why I'm doing this."
"Actually, if you came alone, it would be more convenient, no need to explain your whereabouts, what exactly are you aiming for?" Bo Bo sighed, asking quietly.
Su Ming smiled without speaking, continuing forward.
With more memories obtained through Strangulation, Su Ming's understanding of the city increased, though these low-level Xida People were beast-like, they still clearly possessed memories.
Finally, under the assassination path cleared by Strangulation, the group emerged from beneath the 'human farm' onto the surface.
Here, humans were truly being raised like animals, not knowing how long they've been trapped, dirty beyond description, all gone mad, losing human thought, only capable of rooting for food in the trough.
Except for Su Ming and Harley, everyone else's expression grew troubled.
While killing can be understood, as Xida People are fighting for survival, raising humans like this crosses a line.
"See, this is the best outcome for losers, now Papetua is awakening. If she wins, our world will devolve to the Third Dimension, and your loved ones will all become livestock."
Su Ming leaned against the Black Stone fence, speaking calmly. Behind him, a disheveled person covered in black filth remained unresponsive to the group's arrival.
People like this filled every enclosure here, this is the ultimate nightmare, a scene even Hell wouldn't present.
Charise raised her hand, throwing a Flying Knife to kill that person. She looked at her hand, then at the ground where red blood flowed into the sewer:
"These people are beyond saving, they can no longer live as humans, we can only provide them relief, but I don't have enough nuclear bombs."
Wally and Giant Spirit showed a moment of reluctance, while Billy Wu merely sighed, pulling out his phone.
As the leader of Teen Titans, Damian didn't look at the corpse but instead at Su Ming: "She's right, we can't save them, nor let them be, letting their flesh and blood nurture our enemies."
"Need to use poison gas? Little Red's poison gas." Harley generously sold out Ivy, smilingly stating that Poison Ivy could kill everyone here given enough time.
Despite this expansive farm stretching endlessly, poisoning is most convenient, just find the water source and sprinkle some mushroom powder...
Su Ming wagged his finger: "They're all concentrated on Earth, and they're the only species in this Dimension. Once they're eliminated, the entire Dimension will collapse due to the lack of organisms, just like what Papetua plans to do to us."
No one could witness such a scene and remain aloof; Su Ming intended to take them to the slaughterhouse, but it seems unnecessary now.
Thus, he nodded in satisfaction, reopening the Teleportation Gate: "Our world is at the brink of survival, I hope everyone understands my intentions. Up next, we're going to bomb the Moon."
