After Kyoto's victory was announced, Shion happily ran towards Naoya and Kuroko.
"Pistachio!"
"Good job, Shion! You two, Hideaki."
Shion stood with his chest swelling with pride, while Hideaki just gave the 'cool guy smirk'.
On the Tokyo side, Nanami and Haibara apologised to their seniors for losing, though the 2nd years didn't mind that much. The two gave their best, and that's what matters.
All of them then moved towards the main school building.
They knew that the main event was the one-on-one battle and didn't dwell too much on their win/loss in today's event. Unlike the team match, the day-2 event doesn't have many limitations and was more brutal in nature since it mostly revolved around fighting.
Nanami and Haibara, who faced their first loss against their peers, were more determined than ever to reclaim their glory.
The day soon came to an end after that, and just like last year, this year too, the students were gathered in Naoya's room to have some fun. Maki and Mai joined them as well and decided to make it clear to Satoru that just because the two of them call him by his first name doesn't mean that they like him.
Satoru wasn't even paying attention to such detail, but seeing the twins gave it to him on a silver platter, it was only right for him to annoy the hell out of them.
During the night, Haibara tried to talk and get closer to Shion, and so did Nanami, though because of the language barrier their was not much progress. Haibara, though, being the optimistic kid he was, felt that he could understand what Shion was trying to say.
Naoya wanted to break the kid's delusion, but the situation was turning into quite a chaotic mess.
Just like that, the night passed by, and Day 2 of the Goodwill event started.
-----
Nagino and Gakuganji entered the Kyoto students' resting area, and both of them had a displeased look on their faces.
When Naoya 'innocently' asked them what was wrong, the two of them started ranting about the HQ demanding that the One-on-one fights should be performed in the same format as last year's and how those people who are not even here are demanding such a destructive turn of events.
The two ranted for a while, unknown to the fact that the one behind their misery was sitting right in front of them.
Anyways, the One-on-one event, just like last year, will be a winner-takes-all format.
Participants will continue to fight until they are defeated or they forfeit.
For the sake of balancing the numbers, Shoko Ieri will not be participating from Tokyo's side.
With this information, Naoya rolled his eyes. No offence to Shoko, but even adding her won't change things that much. Still, he was not gonna complain.
Gakuganji asked them to discuss amongst themselves and decide their order of entering, and the students looked at Naoya.
"I will enter last, don't worry," said Naoya.
He knew that if he entered first, there was a high chance others wouldn't get to fight, and he didn't want that.
A goodwill event is one of the bigger chances for students to show their progress to the HQ and get evaluated for a higher rank. He didn't want to steal the chances from his friends and like a good senior decided to stay back.
------
A while later, in front of the giant barrier dome, the Kyoto group stood calmly, waiting for the match to start.
The order of the Kyoto side was decided, and it was as follows:
1) Grade-2 sorcerer: Hideaki Kamo
2) Grade-2 sorcerer: Shion Inumaki
3) Grade-2 sorcerer: Tetsuya Kuroko
4) Special Grade sorcerer: Naoya Zenin
"Hideaki, do your best. Don't come back soon," said Naoya.
"I know that. I have to make sure that the Kamo name is not tarnished," said Hideaki and took a deep breath.
Hideaki was serious about his match. Currently, the Kamo clan is far behind the Gojo and Zenin clans, thanks to the special grade monsters the two clans produced. He knew that he was nowhere close to their level, but he would make sure to deliver a performance that makes the Jujutsu world understand that the Kamo clan is not weak in any way.
"Attention students. The 2nd event of the Goodwill event starts now. First participants from both sides enter the barrier."
As the announcement was made, a small crack appeared in the barrier like a door.
"I am going," said Hideaki, and he got into his battle mindset.
The rest of them gave him a nod in return, and Hideaki got through the barrier.
-----
Hideaki walked a bit further through the forest and soon came in front of his opponent.
"Kamo-san, huh."
"Nanami-kun,"
The two 1st years acknowledged each other.
The two had fought each other yesterday and were somewhat familiar with each other's fighting style.
"I won't be going easy, just so you know," said Hideaki, and tightened the glove-shaped cursed tools.
Nanami didn't say anything and simply took out his blunt hatchet fron it's sheath.
They eyed each other, already ready for the fight.
"Both participants ready?"
The voice echoed in the surroundings.
Both gave a nod.
"3,2,1, Match START!"
As the announcement came, Nanami launched towards Hideaki with his cursed tool covered in CE reinforcement.
Hideaki, though, leapt away from the approaching Nanami.
[Rock-Paper-Scissors]
[Rock]
Cursed energy gathered around Hideaki's fist, and a moment later, a fist made of stone launched towards Nanami at great speed.
Seeing the fast projectile approaching him, Nanami tried to deflect it, but noticed another Rock fist coming towards him, behind which another one was coming.
Realising a continuous barrage of stone projectiles was coming towards him, Nanami clicked his tongue and jumped back as well to get some room for himself to divert the attacks.

Hideaki Kamo's technique [Threefold Gamble: Rock-Paper-Scissors], as the name suggests, brought the concept of the game to real life through sorcery.
Although the name might be simple, the nature of the technique was slightly complex.
First of all, just like in the game, the user needs to cast his move, [Rock], [Paper], or [Scissors] and each of these moves gives him a different ability.
[Rock] allowed Hideaki to either cover his fist with hardened, cursed energy or fire off projectile fists made of stone. Both a melee and a long-range move.
[Scissors] allowed Hideaki to form hardened and sharpened cursed energy blades from his hands. Each blade lasted for as long as the user's hands. The blades weren't the 'cut through anything' kind, but were sharp enough to be around the level of low-grade-1 cursed tool blades.
[Paper] allowed Hideaki to 'catch' an attack and 'wrap' it up, thus completely negating its effect. Negation worked by having the user's palm touch the incoming attack and having cursed energy equivalent to the attack in them. This move required precision, but the attack negation was really strong.
The technique also had several other conditions.
1)The above abilities only remain active as long as the target's hand remain in the [Rock], [Paper], or [Scissors] pose. If they loosen it, the effect disappears, and they need to redo the move from the start.
2) The game can be played in two forms:
Low-risk game: The user doesn't announce the start of the game, makes their move and gets the effect associated with the move. This gives them the base version of the effects.
Medium-risk game: The user announces the start of the game and makes their move, if the enemy makes a move at the same time as well, the game becomes more complex:
User wins: 25% boost to the abilities.
Draw: No changes.
User loses: 25% loss to abilities.
If the enemy doesn't play or is late/early: 20% boost to the abilities
The boost and loss come in different forms. Lower/ Higher CE requirement and increased/decreased output.
High-risk game: The user announces the start of the game and even tells his move to the target.
User wins: 50% boost to abilities
Draw: 25% boost to abilities
User loses: 40% loss to abilities
If the enemy doesn't play or is late/early: 50% boost to abilities.
Aside from these, the game can be modified even more to make it riskier or easier depending on the user, but the above is the basic set.
On a side note, when Hideaki joined Jujutsu High, he was very confident about his technique and always went for High-risk or Medium-risk games, but after using it against Naoya, he realised that the technique could f*ck him up.
Naoya was already very perceptive and could match the timing; that wasn't the issue.
The issue was that the man, named Naoya Zenin, didn't lose a single match. Even in the low-risk level, he didn't even announce the start of the game or technique. Naoya still kept on winning.
To this day, Hideaki is traumatised by the event and wants to know how Naoya knows what move Hideaki was going to make.
Naoya, though, had no strategy. He was simply lucky. Hideaki might not be willing to accept that answer, but that was the truth.
Naoya Zenin was a man who once got 5 shinies in a row and now catches legendaries in Pok*balls in under 3 tries without doing any damage or status effects on them.
{A/N: Got 2 shinies back to back while playing today. Just wanted to brag.}
-----
Seeing Nanami busy deflecting the stone fists, Hideaki ran towards him and yelled out loud.
"Rock-Paper-Scissors!!"
Nanami, who was busy deflecting the stones, didn't have the time for the nonsense, giving Hideaki time to make his move.
[Scissors]
Cursed energy blades appeared over Hideaki's hands as he used them without hesitation on Nanami.
Nanami noticed that and, with all his strength, threw his hatchet towards Hideaki.
Seeing the flying hatchet, Hideaki raised his blades to block it.
Nanami, seeing the chance, stepped forward and activated his own technique.
[Ratio]
An imaginary line formed over Hideaki, more specifically, his arms.
His fist moved at an incredible speed towards the 7:3 line and struck it with a curse, energy reinforcement active.
"Agh!"
The pain immediately rushed through Hideaki's arm, and he was blown away by the strike.
Hideaki winced in pain and looked behind him, and saw that he was about to crash into a tree.
[Paper]
With his palm open, he touched the tree, cancelling the impact that would have hurt him otherwise.
"You seem fiercer than yesterday?" asked Hideaki, still feeling a bit numb in his hands.
Nanami picked up his hatchet and looked back at Hideaki calmly.
"I have to make sure not to lose too much face after yesterday's loss. What about you? That hit earlier must have struck you quite hard," said Nanami, and he slowly started to walk towards Hideaki.
"True, that packed quite some punch. Not as much as my senpais, though. Their hits hurt more. I can bear this much," replied Hideaki and got ready to fight.
Nanami looked at Hideaki and analysed him.
'One more hit will do,' thought Nanami and got ready to end the fight.
He activated his [Ratio], and immediately, imaginary lines formed over Hideaki's body.
Hideaki became serious as he saw the incoming sorcerer.
His attention was solely focused on Nanami.
As Nanami came closer, Hideaki started the Low-Risk Game.
[Paper]
Nanami's hatchet flew smoothly towards the 7:3 line, ready to land the critical hit and end the match.
However, Hideaki's palm stopped the blow effortlessly.
"Huh?"
Hideaki didn't miss a beat and broke Nanami's posture, leaving him wide open and used his technique once again.
[Scissors]
*SWISH!!!*
The cursed energy blade materialised, and he immediately used the blade to tear through Nanami's uniform and finally pointed his blade straight at his throat.
"I don't think I need to point it out, but I intentionally only ripped your uniform," said Hideaki with a smirk.
Nanami looked at the blade pointed at his throat and gulped.
"I surrender."
"Good choice."
"Winner Kyoto! 1-minute break starts now. 2nd participant from Tokyo, be ready!"
The announcement came, and Hideaki smiled.
He upheld the name of the Kamo clan.

Here's something I came across and wanted to share with you all.
