Chapter 752 - Chapter 400: Korrina at the Silver Conference, Venusaur’s Vital Growth (Part 2)

And this battle is a three-on-three, with Bugsy sending out Butterfree, Beedrill, and Scyther.

Butterfree and Beedrill are at Advanced Level, and Scyther has already reached Advanced Peak.

This level was a bit of pressure for Serena, after all, Serena only had two Pokemon, one being Braixen, and the other is a Pokemon she caught before arriving at Azalea Town—Rhyhorn!

It's quite strange that Serena, who seems gentle, could tame the fierce Rhyhorn so obediently.

Ash initially worried Serena might have trouble taming the Intermediate Rhyhorn, but it turned out Ash was overly concerned.

In less than a day, Serena and Rhyhorn established a wall of mutual understanding quickly. It was evident that Serena had her unique techniques.

Later, Ash learned that before her travels, Serena had been helping her mom take care of their Rhyhorn at home, and her mom was a Rhyhorn racing competitor.

Although Ash and the others had never heard of such a competition, they could understand what kind of race it was just from the name. It was no wonder Serena had a unique way of interacting with Rhyhorn, as she grew up among them.

Serena was worried Ash might find her rude, but Ash only expressed admiration and respect, without any other emotions.

This allowed Serena to finally rest her heart. Of course, this was Ash — how could he find her rude over Pokemon matters?

She was simply worrying too much.

Though Serena only had two Pokemon, she still chose to accept the challenge, relying on the Trainer experience gained under Ash's guidance, and her understanding of Rhyhorn.

Serena successfully used Rhyhorn to defeat Butterfree and Beedrill, but was later defeated by Scyther's single strike.

Then came the final battle, Braixen against Scyther.

Even with pretty good battle awareness, Serena found it difficult to cope with Scyther's speed.

In desperation, Serena recalled Ash's frequent unconventional maneuvers, prompting her to make Braixen unleash its most powerful Fire Spin, igniting the entire field!

Finally, in Bugsy's shocked expression, Braixen's Fire Spin took Scyther away in one move.

Quickly, Ash released the Blastoise he was carrying and extinguished the flames of the entire field.

"It's over, my large greenhouse field..." Bugsy looked at the scorched greenhouse field, kneeling on the ground, tearless and heartbroken.

This place was built specifically for raising Bug-type Pokemon, with plants and trees created with much time and effort.

Now, it's all burned down in one fire.

This was the first time since taking on the role of Gym Leader!

Though he had encountered Fire-type Pokemon before, no one ever ignited the entire field like Serena. Even if some flames touched the greenery, they could be extinguished immediately, causing little impact on the field.

But now, Serena has burned the entire large greenhouse, meaning he must start from scratch!

Bugsy vowed in his heart that his Gym battles would never take place in the large greenhouse venue again. Forget the Gym atmosphere, he's building an outdoor field!

Serena achieved victory, which should have been a happy occasion, but seeing Bugsy collapsed on the ground, her happiness vanished, replaced by awkward emotions.

"Uh... I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to. How much does it cost to fix this?" Serena was prepared for a significant loss.

"No need, the League will fund it. I'm just unsure when it'll be fully restored." Bugsy shook his head, supporting himself off the ground.

The funding isn't a problem; the damage to the Gym constitutes 'work injury,' and the League will provide funds for repairs.

But these plants can't be restored by just spending money, they need time to grow slowly.

It's uncertain how long it will take to return to the previous completion level.

"It's okay, I can help." Ash's voice instantly caught Bugsy's attention.

He's not unfamiliar with Ash, as he's a frequent news feature, often hearing of Ash breaking records and the miraculous phenomena in his battles.

Level-up battles are routine, negative attribute battles like drinking water, the Pokemon in his team each odder than the last, being called a Superstar, and referred to as a new "monster" in Kanto.

Receiving such evaluation shows how terrifying Ash's impact on the outside world is.

However terrifying, it doesn't seem related to plants.

Even if Ash's Pokemon are powerful, they could at most help plant some seedlings, but restoring the greenery still requires time!

"Wait for me for a moment!" Ash greeted Bugsy before disappearing from view.

Bugsy widened his eyes, his fingers trembling and pointing at Ash's spot, his head continuously spinning, his gaze frantically switching between Misty and Ash's spot.

Even without Bugsy speaking, everyone knew what he wanted to ask — how did Ash disappear, could he have Superpower?

Ash certainly doesn't have Superpower, but Mewtwo does!

Among Misty's group, only Serena was confused about what Ash was up to, while Brock and Misty already guessed Ash's intentions and actions.

A minute later, Ash reappeared in his original spot, holding a Red and White Ball in his hands.

"It's you, Venusaur!"

In a flash of light, a towering and strong Venusaur appeared on the field.

"Please, Venusaur, let this place revive once more." Ash entrusted Venusaur.

"What do you mean? Even if Venusaur is a Grass-type Pokemon, this seems a bit forced...right?" Before Bugsy could finish his sentence, Venusaur had already extended eight Vine Whips from its body, embedding them into the scorched ground.

The next second, a white light brightened the scorched ground, and the surrounding plants burned to charcoal began to revive!

In just two minutes, the greenhouse's greenery became lush again, even better than before!

The Bug-type Pokemon that had been extremely downcast were now happily jumping around.

Misty instinctively hid behind Ash; she still had no resistance to those fluffy bugs, but their previous downcast emotion inadvertently affected her, causing her not to react to her fear of bugs.

"Is this alright, Bugsy?" Ash looked at the vibrant scenery around him, nodding in satisfaction, then turned to ask if Bugsy was pleased.

If Bugsy wanted it more lush, Venusaur could surely do it.

After some time apart, Venusaur's mastery of Life Power seemed to elevate further, though its level hasn't broken through, it's close, finding its unique path to progress swiftly.

"It's perfect, even better than before! Thank you, Ash!" Bugsy nodded wildly like a pecking chicken, now quite satisfied with the habitat in the greenhouse!

The legendary figure truly lives up to the reputation; being able to even accomplish such tasks — simply omnipotent!
