When the three of the crew arrived on the front door of the rural folk, they had taken it upon themselves to make it like Hans had captured them.
"Hey, Hank. What are you up to? Where's Jonesy?"
"Fell overboard and a croc got him. It almost happened to me, too."
"Happens to the best of us. Say, why are these two here?"
"Caught them trespassing on the place and they tried to rob us. What do you want to do about it?"
"Shoot, I don't know. I'll come up with something and do something later. But head on in. It's almost dinner time."
The man said all of that so fast that Hank was surprised that even in the spell of being fluent in English, he could understand whatever he had been saying.
"You're losing your accent."
"I can't talk; you should stay quiet."
Burino had taken his time to make small talk with his fake captor and even went as far as to look around and map out the place. It wasn't much of a claim that he would be here for a long stretch of time. It wasn't much of a claim that the crew would hurriedly try to kill the people and take the reactor from the mud room.
"Now, you two need to be real quiet for what I'm about to say."
The two were handcuffed and placed on their knees in front of the group. They had many weapons drawn on them but little to no idea how they could do anything that would warrant it. Hans was prepared to go giant the second someone did something out of place. Finally, the one who was leading the group took a step forward.
"Listen up, I will be holding this trial for these troubled souls."
