Chapter 210: Will of Freedom (Part 2)
The first round of confrontation between both sides concluded. Although Red Lotus Guardian helped prevent Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend from being destroyed, Jack's goal of dealing the finishing blow with effect damage also fell through. Jack had no choice but to make another plan.
"Then, I tune the Level 8 Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend with the Level 2 Red Resonator and the Level 2 Crimson Resonator!"

Crimson flames reappeared around Jack's body. The two monsters transformed into four burning star rings, enveloping Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend.
"King and demon, now converge here! O rampant soul! Roar with the cry of creation! Double Tuning! Appear, Red Nova Dragon!"
A roar that echoed through the heavens rang out as a dark red, giant dragon surrounded by flames emerged from the ring of fire, spreading its wings.
Although the aura of this dragon upon its appearance and the strange phenomena it created were not as grand as the Triple Tuning monster Jack had previously summoned, it was in no way inferior to Bruno's Shooting Star Dragon.

"Red Nova Dragon's ATK increases by 500 for each Tuner monster in the Graveyard! I currently have five Tuner monsters in my Graveyard, so Red Nova Dragon's ATK increases by 2500!"

"Next, I activate the effect of Forced Resonator on the field! I send this face-up card to the Graveyard to target one face-up monster on my field. This turn, when the chosen monster attacks, my opponent cannot activate the effects of Spells, Traps, or monsters that target a monster until the end of the Damage Step."
The Forced Resonator on Jack's field struck the tuning fork in its hand, transforming into dark golden lightning that surged into Red Nova Dragon's body.
"I can't activate effects that target? That means I can't use Shooting Star Dragon's effect to banish itself and negate an attack. I have to take this hit head-on?" Bruno gritted his teeth.
"Because another Tuner monster was sent to the Graveyard, its ATK increases by another 500!"

"Battle! Red Nova Dragon, attack Shooting Star Dragon!" Jack waved his hand to command. Red Nova Dragon roared, flying forward and lunging with a claw at Shooting Star Dragon.
"I activate the Continuous Trap Card, High and Low!" Seeing the two giant dragons already clashing, Bruno had no choice but to activate the last set card in his back row.
"When an opponent's monster attacks, this can only be activated if my monster has lower ATK. I reveal the top card of my Deck and send it to the Graveyard. If it's a monster, my monster's ATK increases by the revealed monster's ATK. I can use this effect up to three times! However, if this effect makes my monster's ATK higher than the attacking monster's, my monster is destroyed."
"Are you planning to use this card to reduce the battle damage?" Jack said.
"First card!" Watching Shooting Star Dragon steadily losing ground in the melee, Bruno revealed the first card. "A monster! Sonic Warrior!"
"Shooting Star Dragon's ATK increases by Sonic Warrior's 1000 ATK!"

"Second card!" After a phantom of a monster turned into a stream of light and surged into Shooting Star Dragon's body, Bruno immediately revealed the second card.
"A monster! T.G. Jet Falcon!"
"Shooting Star Dragon's ATK increases by 1400!"
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 4300 → 5700
"So, you'll only deal 800 battle damage?" Jack mused, already planning his defense for the next turn. But at that moment, Bruno revealed the third card!
"Third card!"
"What?!" Jack was startled, then laughed coldly. "Do you know what you're doing? If you reveal a monster with more than 800 ATK, your monster will self-destruct!"
"Is a true duelist afraid of that?" Bruno laughed freely. "I trust my deck, and I firmly believe my cards will answer my call!"
With that, Bruno revealed the top card of his Deck. "A monster, Quillbolt Hedgehog, with 800 ATK!"
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 5700 → 6500
"What?!" Jack was shocked. "Its ATK is the same as Red Nova Dragon's?"
The three enhancements brought Shooting Star Dragon's ATK to the same level as Red Nova Dragon's. The two monsters destroyed each other in the clash, shattering into starlight and flames.
"So you've come this far thanks to the bond with your monsters?" Jack said.
"Then, I end my turn."
"At this moment, the effect of my banished Red Supernova Dragon activates! During the End Phase of my next turn, this card is Special Summoned from the Banished Zone! Return! Red Supernova Dragon!"
As Jack's words fell, raging flames erupted with him at the center, instantly igniting the road.
From within the sea of fire, Red Supernova Dragon was reborn from the ashes.
Red Supernova Dragon ATK: 4000 → 7000
"What can he do?" the Female Commentator exclaimed, looking at the returning Red Supernova Dragon. "The duel has progressed to this point, and both duelists have nearly depleted their resources! At this moment, the revived Red Supernova Dragon is like a godsend. Does Bruno still have the ability to counter it?"
"Come on, Jack! Let's settle this on the next turn! I'm betting everything on my next draw!" Bruno said, looking at the giant dragon dancing in mid-air.
"My turn! I draw!" Behind Bruno, a red emblem slowly emerged, outlining a circling draconic mark.
Then, with his glowing right hand, Bruno drew the top card from his Deck!
"I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Avarice! I return five monsters from my Graveyard to the Deck to draw two cards! I'm returning Junk Synchron, Junk Warrior, T.G. Propeller Snake, T.G. Booster Raptor, and T.G. Wonder Magician to the Deck, and I draw two cards!"
"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Dark Hole! It destroys all monsters on the field!"
A terrifying gravitational wave swept across the entire field, pulling all the monsters toward a black hole that had appeared out of thin air in the center.
"It's useless! Red Supernova Dragon is unaffected by activated effects," Jack said, as Red Supernova Dragon remained completely still amidst the terrifying gravitational vortex.
"The only monsters being destroyed are yours," Jack said.
"But this also clears my field! The real counterattack starts now!" Bruno said, slamming a card from his hand onto his Duel Disk.
"I summon Junk Synchron in Attack Position!"
