As Zane and renji sailed to another island Zane looked at him
"So if your captain you have to have goals right?, so what are they?"
He asked renji and renji turned to him "becoming the greatest sea runners and reach the grand horizon" He said confidently "hmmm those are definitely goals
Becoming the greatest sea runner is one thing but reaching the grand horizon is whole new thing, yet I'll help you reach that goal and become the greatest weapon master to ever live" Zane said.
Renji smiled and the bumped fist as they reached the next island
Renji stepped of the boat confidently then he looks at the boat
"Geez were gonna need a new boat soon" he said "cart town" Zane looked at the sign "ok, we need weapons or something to defend our boat with just incase"
Zane said as they walked into town "do you have a name for our crew?"
Zane asked "Well I haven't put much thought into it" renji sighed.
As they came across a weapon Smith forgery shop
"Just what we need how ironic" right as renni was gonna walk to it he saw a store giving out food "actually be right back" he said leaving Zane by himself
As Zane walked to the shop "hello I ne-" a girl with green tied up hair Grey shirt brown paints and brown boots appeared in front of the venue.
"Hmh" she said putting her hand on her chin
"Can I get some weapons" He asked "Ok what weapons?"
She asked "like shield or something" Zane said "Ok that will be five hundred coin" she said "FIVE HUNDRED!!" His eyes literally could pop out his head at what he was hearing "I don't got that type of cash" he said.
Meanwhile renji was at the store looking at the options of food they had
"Well Mr. You seem interested in these options" the chef behind the venue said
"Hmmmmmm" renji sat there puzzled until he saw something in the corner of his eyes they were people moving barrels into an alley way.
Renji got interested and followed close behind them and he slowly peeked around the corner to check to see what was going on until he saw the people that were moving the barrels was on the phone with someone but the phone want a phone it was a boat like phone brown and had a ship sail too.
Then renji accidentally leaned to far and fell over "ow" he said as the bandits looked at him "I guess we had a spy watching us" one of the bandits said
They ran at him no questions asked "Ok what is taking him so long?" Zane thought to himself walking to the food store renji was at.
Then renji jumped over the bandits "wait guys I just curious" he said
As they drew they're swords and tried to slashed at him but renji stretched his leg out kicking one if the bandits in the face "does he have.....sea serpent core...." one of the bandits muttered.
Then the bandit ran away leavings his unconscious friend on the floor
As renji stopped over them just as Zane arrived "WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED HERE!!!" Zane said "just some bandits" renji said casually while smiling
"Just bandits!" Zane calmed down.
"Ok....ok" Zane said "let's go!!!" Renji jumped as they walked away
"SIR sir.....someone here has a sea serpent core and they caught us moving the supplies.." the bandits said to a throne turned around "ok...we can't let go unchecked" the guy said.
Renji and Zane walked back to the forgery to see the girl had dissappear
"Where'd she go" Zane said as they looked around they didn't find anything or anyone so renji walked in the store "dude that is not your store why are you in it!"
Zane silently yelled renji then walked out.
"Nobody's there" he said as bandits started terrorizing people
Then renji grabbed the bandits shoulder and toosses him aside
Until another guy came He wore a goofy, mismatched outfit that looks like he got dressed without thinking. His clothes are oversized and don't match in color or style, with a hoodie or shirt full of random patches, stickers, and dangling items. He even wears different shoes on each foot and baggy pants that don't quite fit right. He carries a messy bag stuffed with random junk like coins, cards, and strings. Overall, he looks silly and careless at first glance, like someone you wouldn't take seriously—but his entire outfit is actually part of his trap system, and every "random" detail can become dangerous when he fights.
"Who are you" renji said "I'm slugger, captain of the mismatch pirates"
He said as he randomly slapped an innocent person "he's bad news"
Zane said pulling out his weapon, his sword first then slugger laughed
Before throwing a banana peel at renji.
Renji caught "that....was it" he said but then a huge banana colored cage appeared around him "I ate a core just like you...it was called the trap core, or what I like to call it is the gag trap" he said with a smug expression as more pirates appeared and ran at Zane.
Zane blocked one before countering then he spun slashing another but then a dagger came flying down cutting his face then another tried to hit his eye but he used his sword and blocked it as another guy in stupid looking apple outfit came flying down holding the daggers as renji struggled to break free from the cage
The green haired girl watched from a distance and ran back into the dark alley way.
"I'll be taking that" slugger reached his hand into the bars and grabbed renjis straw hat 'DONT TOUCH MY HAT!!!" Renji stretched his hand so far through the bars and started chocking slugger but luckily his men were they're to save him
"Give....it.....back" he said.
"I... don't think I will eheheheh" slugger laughed maniacally at renjis frustration.
"Struggke all you want you rope belted boy, your nothing against me"
