Hey everyone.
I'm back.
Exams ended on the 27th and I survived, which honestly felt like enough of an achievement on its own. But then life immediately decided to throw something else at me — I got an internship.
Which is exciting. Genuinely. The people are nice, the environment is fine, and I'm trying to be grateful because I know that matters.
But also. The pay is terrible. Like I'm genuinely not sure it covers my travel costs yet, and it takes me thirty minutes just to get there, and then it's eight hours plus fifteen minutes of actual work, and I come home and my brain is just. Gone. They say the pay increases as they see my work so I'm holding onto that and hoping they mean it.
The first week has mostly been getting used to the rhythm of it all. Not much work yet but apparently that changes soon, so I'm enjoying the calm while it lasts.
Anyway. That's my life right now.
What actually matters to you is that I have started working on the next chapter. It will be out somewhere between Monday and Friday. I'm not going to promise a specific day because I've learned my lesson about that, but it's coming. The words are happening. Battle Bladers is getting closer.
