The moment Leo and the women appeared in the city, the locals immediately recognized them.
"Oh, my Lord, Jaye! It's the one who defeated the Kree Empire!"
"Quick! Go inform the City My Lord!"
"Guards! Maintain order! Do not disturb My Lord!"
"So this is what an Earthling looks like… really different from us."
"Is this what a truly strong individual is like? Not a single aura exposed, able to retract and release at will."
"Why don't these Earth men and women have horns… and no tails behind them? How do they even maintain balance while walking?"
Curious onlookers whispered among themselves, creating a cacophony that filled the streets like a crowded wet market.
Wanda and the others frowned. "Seriously, are you treating us like aliens? You bunch of natives! So annoying!"
No. 18's fiery temper flared. Being gawked at like a monkey had worn her patience thin.
White light flickered in her hand as she prepared energy balls to intimidate the crowd.
"Move aside, everyone! Don't ask for trouble, or I'll lock you all up!"
Before she could act, a hovercar swooped down, stopping above the crowd. A commanding voice boomed, reprimanding the natives.
A green-skinned alien, with horns and a tail, landed. Despite these features, he resembled an Earthling in many ways.
The onlookers instantly quieted. Nobody wanted to risk going to jail.
"A leader has arrived… seems to have some discernment," No. 18 muttered, letting her energy dissipate.
The leader approached Leo and the group, presenting devices and pointing to his ear.
Leo and the others understood and inserted the earphones.
Sure enough, they could now comprehend the local language.
Apparently, besides English being the universal language of the Universe, other planets required translation devices.
Even Marvel's main setting had overlooked a few linguistic details!
Seeing Leo use the translator, the leader's smile widened.
"Hehe, My Lord, you can understand us now. We are on our home planet; the universal language is only for interstellar communication.
Most locals don't speak it well. This device perfectly translates any connected language."
"I understand. Very sensible," Leo said lightly, nodding.
"My Lord is joking. We have always been friendly to outsiders. I am O'Connor Murphy, City My Lord of City No. 11. You may command me freely."
The City My Lord spoke respectfully, without a trace of pride.
"Easy to say. I'm just here to look around—don't worry about me. You all just do what you need to do."
Leo didn't want unnecessary interruptions; he was in a good mood and wanted to keep it that way.
"Don't worry. Our King has ordered that all venues on Planet Sali provide you with the best service."
The King's decree ensured strong visitors would not be disturbed. As long as they came and left happily, that was enough.
Over the next month, Leo took the women exploring Planet Sali. Wanda and the others were ecstatic.
They marveled at human geography, natural environments, and bizarre flora and fauna they had never seen.
Talking pets, futuristic hovercars, prehistoric giant animals, and immersive game pods delighted them endlessly.
After nearly a month, they traveled to Xandar. The Nova Corps panicked, fearing revenge from Leo.
The population mobilized, and Queen Adora personally welcomed them, offering compensation and pleading for mercy.
Leo judged the Nova Corps' performance fair—they only guarded their territory, so he didn't make things difficult.
Xandar's technology was significantly advanced compared to previous planets. The city felt like a futuristic sci-fi dream.
Wanda, the others, and Red Queen were completely awestruck; their knowledge and perspective expanded tremendously.
"Beauties, you play here. I'm heading out for some business," Leo said one morning after breakfast.
The women stared. "Is he going to swindle people again?"
They weren't worried. Leo was always cunning but could be trusted in his own way.
"Go early, return early."
"Of course. When you return, we'll go back to Earth."
With that, Leo hugged them and vanished in a flash.
Meanwhile, Kree-Lar, the Kree Empire's capital, had long been considered invulnerable.
Home to powerful nobles, military leaders, and merchant guild heads, the city thrived on luxury and security.
But today, disaster struck.
A cross-dimensional powerhouse casually shattered the tranquility, breaking the Kree's dream of invulnerability.
This day would be etched into Kree history.
Their proud technology and Universe-spanning legions proved no match. They became a laughingstock, their shame permanently recorded.
"Is this… the capital of the Kree Empire?"
Space itself shattered as a tall figure appeared on Planet Kree-Lar.
It was Leo. He surveyed the bustling, prosperous city.
Hovercars zipped by, towering skyscrapers loomed, and aerial rail systems crisscrossed everywhere.
The city's intelligence and development far surpassed Xandar.
"Indeed, an empire that champions technology. I wonder how long it will take Earth to reach this level."
Just as he marveled, intelligent robot soldiers detected him.
"Alert! Intruder detected!"
Shrill alarms echoed across Kree-Lar, awakening every Kree.
Even during the toughest wars, including battles with the Skrulls, the alarm had never sounded.
One hundred thousand years of complacency, arrogance, and pride had lulled the Kree into a false sense of security.
Until a cold, impatient snort rang out:
"Why are you all so noisy?"
The robot soldiers turned to dust under the terrified gazes of the Kree.
