The Leaf Village was bathed in the soft light of sunset as four shinobi walked along one of the central streets. Kakashi walked in front, as always silent, his head slightly raised and his hands hidden in his pockets. In one hand, he held an orange book. Passersby often cast looks at him filled with respect and admiration.
Behind him walked his three students, and judging by the noise, their conversation was quite lively.
"Come on, Indra," Misao insisted for what felt like the tenth time that evening, clearly excited. "How did you even come up with so many ninjutsu that I've never even heard of? Especially that bow and arrow you made with lightning in your hands. Seriously, bro—even I can't do that, and I trained with my mother, Tsunade, who has one of the best chakra controls in the shinobi world. Wait, wait… you didn't kill anyone trying to test it, did you?"
"Or did you find a scroll of forbidden techniques?" Himawari narrowed her eyes with a playful teasing look. "Confess, Indra-kun—how many innocent people did you have to kill for that power?"
"And can you fire a large quantity of arrows?" Misao asked again, still overflowing with energy.
Indra sighed, but his expression showed not irritation, but rather weary acceptance. He knew that after today's sparring, such conversations were unavoidable—especially after Kakashi-sensei told them to show what they could do.
"I already told you—the technique is mine. Developed from lightning manipulation. A bit of intuition, a bit of practice… and some unconventional ideas. And no—each arrow requires maximum concentration and consumes quite a lot of chakra. You also need extremely precise chakra control for it."
Though considering how much chakra I have, it's hardly a problem, Indra thought internally.
"Some…?" Himawari repeated, clearly unconvinced. "Creating something like that from Lightning Release… you didn't just expand the technique, you… you… I don't even know what to call it properly."
"It's terrifying," Misao snorted. "But cool terrifying."
Soon they reached a street-side restaurant. They ordered food and began enjoying meat, noodles, and endless conversation. An hour later, their teacher paid for the meal and decided to leave, letting the genin spend some time alone.
"You know," Himawari said, finishing her tea, "no matter how strange Kakashi-sensei is… that was the best sparring we've ever had. He showed us our weaknesses without the kind of mercy parents usually give separately."
"And nobody died," Misao snorted. "Considering what my mother told me about him, that's already pretty good."
"Well, Tsunade herself doesn't always calculate her strength properly, from what I heard from my mother," Indra said with a slight grimace, recalling their last training session with his mother. And considering the fact that they have the same temper… it wasn't surprising.
Closer to late evening, Indra headed home. The door creaked softly as he entered. He expected the old man to already be asleep, but the kitchen light was still on.
There stood Sakura, his mother, looking at him with a warm smile.
"Welcome home, dear. How was it today? Your team placement?" Sakura asked gently.
Indra let a rare smile form on his face. "My teammates were really not that bad."
Then his face turned serious.
"But mother… can you explain to me how Lady Tsunade even has a child?"
Sakura let out a long sigh. "That's a long story, dear. I'll explain it while you have some food."
The two of them began chatting quietly.

Scene change — Hokage Office
Kakashi stood in front of Naruto as the two began their conversation.
"So, hey, Kakashi-sensei, how was the team?" Naruto asked with a smile, resting his knuckles under his chin.
"Honestly, this is really troublesome. Each one of these kids is a genius among geniuses, and their strength is outrageous for their age," Kakashi grumbled.
"Yeah, I know. That's why I assigned you as their teacher, sensei. Except for you, there's really no one more capable of leading them."
"So troublesome… but I really didn't expect Lady Tsunade would send her child, knowing her nature," Kakashi said.
Hearing this, Naruto turned his gaze toward the window, looking out at the village.
"Well, honestly, even I didn't expect that, sensei. But I think it has something to do with the fact that Misao didn't really have companions of the same age. I can feel the loneliness from him. But nonetheless, I'm really happy that the son of the Pervy Sage can become a shinobi of Konoha. I would really like to take this kid as my student, but… you know, as Hokage, I really don't have the time," Naruto said helplessly.
"Yeah, you're right. I'll try my best to guide them. But the one who has the most monstrous talent is Indra. Even while fighting him, I could clearly feel that he was holding back," Kakashi said seriously.
Hearing this, even Naruto became serious.
"I know, sensei. His talent is truly something else. I have no doubt he can surpass me and Sasuke. Then Konoha will have another pillar. So please, Kakashi-sensei—guide him to the right path," Naruto said firmly while looking at him.
"What a hassle… but fine, I'll do it," Kakashi replied with a grumble.
