Yujun's POV
It's early in the morning and I am set to leave for the council summoning, but Jaehyun won't get out of my way, the alpha just woke up after I spent the past hour preparing my body and mind to leave.
"Jaehyun, seriously" I sigh and he shakes his head in refusal.
"What do you mean you're going alone?" he growls as he grabs my elbow and I give him an unimpressed look.
"I mean, I am going to the council alone" I say calmly.
"Like hell you are" Jaehyun growls, startling me and I flash my omega eyes at him, warning him to back off but he flashes his own red alpha eyes back at me.
"I can handle this by myself?" I say in a quieter tone, and he shakes his head again this time more slowly, "this doesn't make any sense, I- I can't let you" he says.
I want to explode at him and make him let go but I take a deep breath as I feel the whining of his alpha, he is pleading, not demanding.
