Lev's gaze remained fixed on the young man in the distance, flames flickering faintly around his body as his breathing slowly steadied. The earlier excitement in his eyes gradually dimmed, replaced by a rare hint of thoughtfulness.
Deep down, he understood that anyone who had managed to hold onto a Primordial Star Core Fragment up to this point was no ordinary opponent. Surviving this long meant strength and experience. And if they chose to continue fighting here, especially after such a massive clash, it wouldn't remain a one-on-one battle for long.
Lev exhaled slowly, the flames around his body calming as his battle intent faded. He cast one last look at the young man and noticed something he hadn't paid attention to before—the faint instability in the lightning surrounding him, the subtle strain in his stance.
