Ducking, Vale let the fire stream shoot out over his head.
'Shit.'
Then the dragonkin flicked its head down, following Vale's movements. The Master of Lust skillfully somersaulted away like a seasoned gymnast.
After escaping the relatively short range of its breath, Vale sighed and said:
"You know… it's never made sense to me. In mythology, dragons are reptilian. Reptilians are cold-blooded. Yet you produce fire from within your body… Where's the logic in that? Shouldn't you be overheating?"
Then again… why was he trying to classify this thing under mortal constraints?
Vale's ramble came to an abrupt end when one of the fire tridents sailed over his shoulder.
'I get I can be annoying, but sheesh.'
Chuckling, Vale took a stance again.
Judging from what he could sense, the bastard appeared to be only a Mutant or Monster. Nothing he should have any trouble dealing with.
His main concern was avoiding injuries and avoiding wasting strength.
