What is luck?
Luck is a phenomenon where good or bad things happen to a person by chance, rather than through their own effort or ability.
A higher rank in luck should translate to a higher possibility of a chance encounter. In that case, a lower rank in luck should mean a lower chance of a significant occurrence.
Again, if a higher rank in luck corresponds to good fortune and a lower rank in luck translates to bad fortune, then a moderate rank should mean a carefree life without any major incident.
With my current D rank in luck, it should be several magnitudes higher than a normal person...
No, there is no point in blaming luck. At my current strength, I should have no problem dealing with these Dead Apostles.
Fighting the First Hassan for so long has changed my style to that of an assassin. But my mind or skills none is suited for being one.
Back to my current predicament, I take a look at the white haired youth before me.
He is pale-skinned and red-eyed, wearing a loose-fitting kimono. Someone might even find him beautiful. But the nauseating stench of decay from him tells me everything I need to know.
First, I use reinforcement on my body and clothing. He looks interested in my usage of magecraft. Then use the Ehwaz and Kenaz runes to improve my durability and eyesight.
Using Space-Lock, I separate both of us from the world. and then use Tiwaz to cast a bounded field around the space, increasing its durability.
He clearly takes my actions as provocation and makes a sword from his blood. Sword ready to cut, he lunges at me.
I meet his charge with my Muramasa blade. Despite his sword being made from blood, it actually manages to take my blade's hits.
Using the killing technique I learned fighting the First Hassan, I managed to cut his vital points. But it looks like he can manipulate his flesh to patch up those cuts.
Looks like Roa hasn't fully awakened yet. I am quite unsure if I kill his current host, will he resurrect again?
I need something to engrave the concept of death into his very being.
I take a look at the Gae Bolg inside my inventory. Unlike usual, which gets associated with Cu Chulainn, this one was used by Scathach, his teacher.
Both have different abilities. Cu Chulainn's Gae Bolg, made from the remains of Curruid's skull, can reverse causality to pierce the heart and kill.
While Scathach's spear was made from the branches of the Ash Tree. Since Yggdrasil is the origin of runes, she can use Ash Tree's connection as Yggdrasil's descendant to empower the runes on the spear to their utmost limit. It has one of the most potent death curses I have ever seen.
Created with the intention to kill herself, if used properly, this can kill almost anything.
The keyword being almost, I am unsure if Roa counts as 'almost'. So first, let's get the security,
"System, can I pull Roa with me to the Type-ORT quest?" I asked.
["Yes, host, you can take Roa with you as a teammate."] She assures me.
Type-ORT's unique ability [Analyze/Decode/Disable] is one of the most broken things in the world. I am 100% sure sacrificing Roa to ORT can permanently kill him.
With backup ready, I bring out the Gae Bolg and use [The Goal Of Life Is Death With] it. The 12-second countdown appears on my hand.
With the memories absorbed from the spear, I start fighting him. Even with reinforcing myself to the utmost limit, I fail short.
But that doesn't matter, as his current state, Roa, fails shorter than my low-budget technique. With Space-Lock separating the boundary between the world and us, he has no place to run.
Seeing the time is almost up, I project a copy of the Gae Bolg and impale him on it, then activate the immobilization curse on, making sure my next attack will surely hit him.
When I hear the ringing of the bell, I know the spell has been cast.
Taking my stance, I recite the first verse of her noble phantasm, Stab and penetrate!
I throw the spear and recite the second verse, Thrust and impale!
When it hits his body, I call out its true name, Gáe Bolg Alternative!!

Now that I have dealt with him, I call Arc, Ciel, and Aoko to let them know of Roa's state.
Now, with the immediate threat out of the way, I take a look at the area we were fighting, the alley behind the school.
It seems all the weird things happen in the back alley.
Soon Arc arrives, then Ciel, and afterward Aoko and Shiki arrive.
"Do you think I got the right guy?" I ask, showing the body.
"You have killed him! And I can't feel the disgusting connection with him anymore," Ciel exclaims with astonishment.
"Wow, Shirou, you managed to kill him permanently!" Arc is quite excited about his death.
"Well, as expected of the Magus Killer's son," Aoko says as a matter of fact.
Kiritsugu does have that reputation of killing everything.
"Since you have solved a lifelong problem of mine, I will grant you a wish. Anything you ask, if I can, I will do it," Ciel says with a firm tone, ready to sacrifice anything. Considering her situation and their entanglement, it isn't hard to see why she would say that.
"Now if I don't offer anything, I would look petty," Aoko chuckles in amusement and says, "I will give you a minor favor, nothing too much."
"In that case, I will shamelessly accept your offer," I reply to their proposal.
"No, what are you saying, sempai, shisou?" Shkiki looks upset at their proposal.
"I know what I am saying; you don't have to worry about it," Ciel warns him.
Arc is watching them with amusement by my side.
"If it isn't too much, can you give me details of the church's structure and the powerful figures working there. And if you can, please provide me with details of Spiritual Evocation: Summoning Ritual," I ask Ciel as I need the information more than anything.
"I can give you the church's details immediately, but it will take longer for the magecraft," she replies.
"Thank you. And Miss Aoko, can you give me the details of the fifth magic?" I push my luck.
"Nope, I am not stupid enough to give such a thing to a magus killer," she rejects my proposal, rightfully.
"Then how about your sister's?" I tried again.
"Sure, I will gladly give you that," she says cheerfully.
"Phew~" Shiki sighs in relief. Aoko mutters something about the Genji plan going successfully.

It took me quite a bit of time to get the rundown details of the church from Ciel and Touko from Aoko.
Ciel said she will deliver the spirit summoning ritual details to my home, so I gave her my address.
Arc and I returned to the hotel around midnight.

She pulls me into the bathroom and undresses both of us. Once the clothes were neatly stored, we turned on the shower and she helped me clean up.
Once fresh and dried up, she led me towards the bed. There, she helped me lie down on it, while she herself lay on my arm.
Moving closer to my ear, she started whispering, "Did you remember the reward I told you about?" While one of her hands starts feeling up my abdominal muscles. Her thighs reach over and caress my lower body.
"Yes, I remember," I nod in reply.
"Good. Arcueid with her current memory and body will be separated for arctype-Earth's existence," she lets me know.
"What, why would you do that?" I ask with indignation.
"Don't get agitated. After each deployment, she gets summoned back, and her memories get wiped off. But she wanted to keep her memories and live with you. So she took the hair you returned to her and created an alter-ego to serve arctype-Earth's duty. Today, Arcueid and I will get separated. Then she will get to live as she wishes," with a heavy tone, she lets me know.
"Sorry, I didn't know that." I apologize, only to get cut off by her.
"She didn't tell you, she was worried about you blaming yourself," she starts, "But you don't need to worry. It's her own decision. She will be weak for a few days after our separation. So don't forget to take care of her."
"I will make sure she lives a happy life," I promised.
"Awesome, I would have given you a lot more, but I don't want to get entangled with you. So you will have to make due with this," getting up, she says.
Then she proceeds to put her delicate, wet flower on my face and takes my sword in her mouth.

I find myself in a war-torn battlefield, the ground pierced by countless swords.
As far as the eye can see, there is nothing but swords. The air is clouded with thick smog and giant gears hanging in the sky.
The place looks lonely and desolate, like a graveyard.
In front of me, I see a white hared person. His steel gray eyes have nothing but coldness. His skin is tanned, like he has been in the sun for a long time.
He is wearing body armor consisting of a black tight and sleeveless shirt with silver accents, along with black pants that have two black straps on his thighs, and another two strapped around his shins, separate from each other.

Okay, so I can't use my atomic arrow or structure analysis. While it will make the quest hard but he will be weaker than me. So that balances out.
I start casting reinforcement runes and reinforcement on my body. Bringing out Excalibur Morgan, I call for the system to start the quest.

We again start fighting with our swords.
His swords, the matching daos with different colors, one black and one white, start to get on my nerves. Somehow, my Pride flare, wishing to turn those swords into dust.
While his sword style is unorthodox and full of flaws, he somehow manages to keep up with me.
Something in my mind tells me to kill him. Looking at him, I feel nothing but hatred.
Disarming him, I move in to bisect him. he takes the hit and lets the momentum carry him out of my range, starts shooting me with arrows.
This time, arrows explode on impact. Soon, I find myself at a disadvantage.
I blast his location with projected VoidBlast swords. But somehow, he levitates the swords on the ground and fires them at me.
If I had Excalibur's true name, I might have used it against him.
So, I start using [Light from world's end]. Morgan le Fay was a genius. Turning an anchor of the world into a magecraft is not something a regular magus can do.
But sadly, I am not one. To use the light, I have to use a tremendous amount of mana.
I start charging the spell, and it turns into a narrow band of light. A few seconds later, I throw it at him.

He takes the hit head-on but survives, badly injured.
Quickly arrive before him and finish the quest.
