The rebellion began at three am in the morning with shionbi from the rebel faction aiming towards the Hokage office.
"Are all of you ready?" Shikaku asked the other major clan heads that were present with him, they would rush towards the Hokage office before everyone and knock out Danzo to present him at the Jonin meeting that would ensue later in the day.
Every clan head nodded before they used the body flicker jutsu and vanished from their positions.
Fugaku appeared in front of the already prepared Police force and nodded in satisfaction. "Today…" he started, "...we will march towards the Hokage office to do what is rightfully our duty as founders of the village! We will take down a corrupt incompetent man who has tortured us for generations! Today the Uchiha will rise and aim for the top!"
"YYAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" The crowd cheered loud enough for everyone in the Uchiha clan to hear and wake up.
"Then… what are we waiting for… let's go." Fugaku gave the command and vanished, and the police force vanished from their spots with him.
As soon as Fugkau arrived out of the Uchiha clan compounds and into the village, he was stopped by several ROOT shinobi.
About five ROOT shinobi stuck to him, while the rest rushed to the nearly hundred strong Police force behind.
Fugaku's eyes narrowed and immediately transformed into three tomoe sharingan.
"Let me show you why they called me Wicked Eye Fugaku."
The five ROOT shinobi instantly averted their eyes however one of them was still too slow.
The fifth shionbi who was caught immediately turned his kunai and stabbed at his teammates causing their formation to break apart.
The remaining four trembled but held firm as they began to circle around both the fifth teammate and Fugaku while simultaneously keeping their eyes glued to the floor.
How could a person as experienced as Fugaku be stopped by such a simple thing however?
The four teammates opened the attack.
Two of them threw kunai and shuriken while the other two prepared to launch water bullets, a counter to the famous Uchiha fire release.
Fugaku rushed towards one of the four remaining people while the fifth teammate acted as a body shield to absorb the attacks of his teammates. Shuriken and kunai stabbed his body as the water bullet broke his bones, yet he still didn't even flinch.
Fugaku decisively used the opening created by the puppeteered shinobi's blocks to attack the four shinobi.
With a punch that predicted exactly how the non seeing shionbi would react with the help of his sharingan, Fugaku shifted into a non lethal grapple before tossing the shinobi on the ground.
Pain flashed in the shinobi's body as he thrashed against the ground while he tried to recover himself by lunging at Fugaku with a kunai, however it was too late since he suddenly saw a pair of sharingan floating in the air.
Now with three against three, the fight shifted in Fugaku's favour very quickly and in no time, Fugaku was running down the streets of Konoha, towards the Hokage office, with the entire unit of five ROOT shinobi flanking him, doing the fighting while clearing the path for him under a deep hypnotic suggestion by his eyes.
The Ino Shika Cho clans were next.
Under the cover of street lights and darkness, the shinobi from these clans rushed towards the Hokage tower, each of their members hoping to take down Danzo on their own for the grievances he had put them through.
At first they encountered no obstacles on their way, however the very next second after they spotted the Hokage tower in the distance, they encountered ROOT shinobi.
They were first attacked by a shower of kunai before several explosive tags that were mixed in with the shower exploded, sending a few members flying.
The attacking shinobi remained hidden, not wanting to expose their positions to let the Ino Shika Cho formations take advantage and control of them and their bodies.
Shikaku quickly realised ROOT's plan so he gave the order out to his two friends, Inoichi and Choza, "Come with me!"
Under the cover of their comrades, the clan heads of the Ino Shika and Cho clans fell back for a second before dispersing into the alleys surrounding their fighting location.
A ROOT agent who was about to throw his kunai, suddenly felt his body become hijacked by someone as he was controlled through his shadow before throwing that kunai at a teammate.
The teammate, albeit surprised, blocked efficiently, however before he could relax or even continue his job of interrupting the shionbi of the Ino Shika Cho trio of clans below, a large hand grabbed him and tossed him at a third teammate.
Unable to react in time, the second teammate crashed into the third while their fourth member, the team head, suddenly abandoned his post to attack a different team entirely.
With the formation of one ROOT team disturbed, soon the rest of the teams toppled like dominos as the Ino Shika Cho trio rushed towards the Hokage office.
One by one, each of the clans of the village rushed towards the jobs that Shikaku had assigned to them when the rebellion was planned.
The Inuzuka tracked down the ROOT shinobi by smell, identifying the infiltrated shinobi among the ranks of the great clans so that they could be taken out.
The Aburame clan along with members of the Yamanaka clan applied reconnaissance and created an information network that kept the major clans updated about the status of each of the other major clans in the rebellion.
Overall things were proceeding smoothly, even though this was just a staged rebellion to make it look like the village's throne was being usurped by the people, through force, it was working.
Shinobi from all over the village gathered as one, united, to take down the tyrant known as Danzo.
Haruto looked at the village from above.
Sigh…
Things were unfortunately… complicated, as they usually were.
A few of the ROOT shinobi appeared to have gone rogue and disregarded Shikaku's orders to be quietly captured by the rebel force after putting on a show of defence.
Aburame Torune was currently furiously swinging his exposed arms around to infect as many people as possible with his poisonous rinkaichu.
Along with him, a few other ROOT shinobi were fighting furiously with their lives on the line, taking down a few Uchiha police officers in the process.
That was when he arrived, the Aburame Clan Head, Aburame Shibi.
He looked at Torune and frowned softly without much change in his expression, yet those who had known him for a long time would realise that he was profoundly disappointed.
Torune too stopped attacking people once Aburame Shibi showed up, instead he focused his attention entirely on the man.
Then with a slight nod of respect from both sides, the fight began.
Torune began his attack by sending out a cloud of rinkaichu towards Shibi while Shibi simply defended by weaving a cloud of insects on his own around himself.
Taking advantage of Shibi's blocked line of sight, Torune threw an explosive tag straight at Shibi.
However, how could a man who had been through a war not know his own weaknesses.
Shibi insects counterattacked on their own to protect their host, flying out from his body as they quickly wrapped around the explosive tag and consumed it entirely.
With the explosion failing, Torune rushed forwards to engage Shibi in a round of hand to hand combat where he held a great advantage because of his poisonous body.
