Ghiaccio swore. He'd never underestimated the woman who had beaten the boss—but he hadn't expected her to be this absurd.
He bent down, hands braced on the ground.
His Stand's attack range was huge; there was a real risk of friendly fire. But right now, that was a secondary concern.
"White Album!"
A wave of freezing mist swept across the street. The gray asphalt glazed over with ice in an instant, and the frost rapidly spread outward.
"I really do want this ability," Yu murmured, raising a brow.
Ghiaccio could drop the air temperature to freezing in an instant—and under the physical and mental enhancement of a Terra native, he could likely push it down to minus a hundred degrees or even lower.
Even in Terra's world of walking stat monsters, this power was fearsome. And this White Album was only stronger than the version she'd seen in the original JoJo.
"Star Platinum—The World!"
Yu stopped time again.
This time, though, she didn't rush Ghiaccio. Instead, she sprinted to Exusiai, whose feet were nearly caught by the advancing frost. Ghiaccio could condense cold air into armor around himself; combined with Terra-level stats, she wasn't sure Star Platinum could knock him out instantly.
And she had someone else she absolutely had to protect first.
Time resumed. Yu wrapped her arms around Exusiai's slim waist and carried her away from the expanding frozen zone.
"Uwah, what's going on?" Exusiai yelped.
The frigid air whipped against her face, and clear ice crystals began forming on her cheeks. The same was happening to Yu Yachen.
Fortunately, as Ghiaccio poured freezing air outward, his teammates were getting frozen with him.
"Exusiai—shoot him."
Yu spoke quietly, touching the Sarkaz's cheek. Killer Queen turned the skin Exusiai had frozen into a bomb and disintegrated it harmlessly.
Kira Yoshikage could never have managed such precision. But Yu's Killer Queen now possessed an almost incomparable level of fine control.
"Ah? Okay!"
Exusiai quickly raised her Victor weapon and pulled the trigger.
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!
Muzzle flashes flared in succession as bullets streaked toward Ghiaccio.
"White Album—Gently Weeps."
As the bullets closed in, Ghiaccio calmly lifted his head.
Cold air condensed into countless tiny ice plates, forming a barrier in front of him. The incoming rounds grazed the slick ice, ricocheting off. The bullets bounced unpredictably through the air—then reversed course, arcing back toward Yu and Exusiai.
"They bounced back?!" Exusiai's eyes widened.
"Don't worry."
Yu retreated with Exusiai in her arms. Killer Queen stood before them, arms flickering as it casually plucked the returning bullets out of the air.
"Exusiai, fire again."
"Eh? But—"
Exusiai hesitated.
"It's fine. Just do as I say."
Yu nodded slightly.
She couldn't help wondering—if Exusiai awakened a Stand, would it be something like Sex Pistols? The girl's personality was lively, and she really did share some traits with Mista from Golden Wind.
"Okay!"
Exusiai pulled the trigger once more. A fresh stream of bullets shot toward Ghiaccio.
"Pointless! I can freeze those in midair!"
His hoarse voice came out muffled through his helmet. But this time, when the bullets hit the ice—
BOOOOM—!
The shock of multiple explosions shattered the ice plates into fragments. Heat melted the ice beneath Ghiaccio's feet. Each bullet, turned into a bomb, detonated in a chain reaction, and he himself was swallowed by swirling smoke.
Killer Queen's base range was only twenty meters, but once something was converted into a bomb, she could detonate it at any distance.
Those rounds had already passed through her Stand's hands.
When Ghiaccio staggered out of the smoke, half his body was charred black.
"Hah… hah… so strong…"
He gasped for breath.
"Formaggio! Are you done yet?!"
As he shouted, Exusiai saw a buzz-cut man in the distance suddenly hurl something in their direction.
It was too small to see clearly; only when it reached the air above them did it become apparent.
"Everyone, get back!"
"Little Feet—restore!"
In an instant, the shadow overhead swelled. The tiny black speck ballooned, transforming into a full-sized abandoned warehouse that came crashing down on Yu and Exusiai with a howling rush of air.
Formaggio's Stand, Little Feet, could shrink anything—and then return it to its original size.
"What is that?!"
Exusiai reflexively tried to look up—but Yu Yachen pushed her head down firmly into her chest. Killer Queen thrust itself above their heads.
BOOM—!
One punch blew apart the concrete roof above them. The devastating shockwave broke the falling debris into dust. Steel bars, concrete chunks, and other building materials shattered under Killer Queen's fist and scattered in all directions.
CRASH—!
"What the hell is with this Stand's strength?!"
A bead of sweat trickled down Formaggio's temple.
But that was fine.
Killer Queen's punch had punched a huge hole through the falling warehouse roof. And just then, a mirror flashed through the air in front of Yu and Exusiai.
Illuso's Stand, Man in the Mirror: as long as someone saw his reflection in a mirror, he could drag them into the mirror world.
Unfortunately for him, Yu moved as if she'd seen this coming. She swiftly covered Exusiai's eyes. At the same time, Killer Queen calmly covered Yu's own eyes with one hand.

Illuso crashed into a streetlight and spat blood. He pushed himself up on trembling arms.
Melone… it's up to you now…
A massive anti-materiel sniper rifle sat braced in a window overlooking the battlefield.
Melone peered down through the scope. He'd already seen his comrades' disastrous state. His finger rested on the trigger. The cold metal under his fingertip steadied his breathing a little. He inhaled, locking the crosshairs onto Yu Yachen's profile.
Damn it… it's barely been a minute, right?!
All he needed was one shot.
They'd pooled their money to buy this rifle from smugglers at a steep price. Even the thickest castle wall would be like butter before its rounds.
One well-placed hit would be more than enough to kill her.
But just as he was about to squeeze the trigger—
The white-haired woman in his scope turned her head.
Her pale blue eyes shifted into razor-sharp vertical slits and stared straight back at him.
"?!"
Melone's mouth fell open. His body went rigid. Cold sweat drenched his back.
In the scope, Yu Yachen's lips curved into a smile. Her bright grin filled his field of view.
Then she raised one hand and gestured, as if inviting him to go ahead and shoot.
