Then , the knowledge flowed through it , of creatures further beyond the time of man, of creatures further beyond the Earth. The roots of a great tree appeared before his eyes , and the branches spread out towards the stars . He pressed he hammer with both hands, and the very shape of the weapon changed to the traditional form of its counterpart mythological .
