Ezekiel began sweating profusely at the sound of those words. His knees were weak like jelly, so he could barely stand up.
"Shin Shin, what do I do?" "Breathe and stay calm. He's stronger than you, so he isn't deadest on killing you, he probably just want to toy with you." "But I thought as a Fushigi I'm supposed to be stronger than any human." "That's true, but do you feel like he's your average human. No! He too is a Fushigi."
"Boss, kill this kid!" The man with the buzz cut on the ground said.
"So this is this kid that knocked out Amir and even gave you a hard time?" The boss said.
"No Boss, he just got a lucky hit on Amir and just caught me off guard with his strength a little bit, but its nothing I can't handle." The man replied.
"No. I'll take care of him, he's just like me, so it would be very difficult for you to fight him, so just take Amir back to camp and I'll be with you two shortly." The boss explained.
Ezekiel couldn't do anything as they were casually having a conversation, like he wasn't there and he could only watch, as the man on the floor left with the other man he knocked out.
Ezekiel could feel the warm gun being removed from his cheek and the boss through it to the ground and stood face to face with Ezekiel. The boss had darkskin, long dreads tide up in a bun, golden canines, which intimidated Ezekiel even more and he was wearing a dirty white vest, with camo pants and black tactical boots. He is arms were very muscular, but what stood out about him the most, was that he was tall, very tall. Ezekiel was quite tall himself, but the boss towered over Ezekiel. He completely dominated Ezekiel.
"Kid, you're a Fushigi, like myself?" The man asked.
"Ye… yes" Ezekiel said anxiously.
"That's good. That means I don't have to hold back." The boss said.
The boss began slowly walking towards him, then in an instant he changed his pace, as he quickly closed the gap to punch Ezekiel in his stomach. Ezekiel was leaning over, while gasping for air. He had never been hit that hard before, it felt like he was hit by a bus at full force. Ezekiel's legs completely gave out and he fell on his knees, as he fought to not pass out.
Ezekiel tried to bring himself to stand back up and as he did the boss used the ball of his foot to kick Ezekiel in his chin, which made Ezekiel's head fall back and knocking him out for a few seconds, but the collision with the ground made him wake up again. Ezekiel quickly jumped up off the ground ad charged at the boss to tackle him to the ground, but unlike the others, the boss was unfazed by Ezekiel unskilful tackle and kneed him in his face, so he let go and to create some distance, then followed it up by grabbing the back of his neck and throwing him up in the air off of the ground then as he fell, he hit Ezekiel with a right side kick so powerful that he smashed his back against a tree. Ezekiel began spitting out blood and his head started spinning and his vision became blurred.
"Am I going to die?" "…"
The boss slowly approached Ezekiel with a massive grin and said, "I've missed the thrill of dominating a human before I strip them of their life. If it wasn't for the good money in poaching, I would've stayed a bounty hunter, because this is too much fun." The boss chuckled.
Ezekiel closed his eyes and began praying for a miracle to save him.
"Boy, what are you doing? No ones going to save you, you have to save yourself or die." "But he's too strong." "Then stop truing to challenge him to a battle of strength." "But what else can I do!?" "Use your surroundings."
Ezekiel began scanning the area around him and saw the blood of the first guy he knocked out. Ezekiel then remembered the man had a gun with him. Ezekiel discretely used his right hand to search for it and…
He found it. He was saved.
"Now all you need to do is kill him!"
Ezekiel picked up the gun and it was already clocked, so he just pointed it in the direction of the boss and began to fire.
(BANG) (BANG) (BANG)
The sound echoed across the savannah and the boss fell to the floor and screamed, "I'll kill you!"
Ezekiel didn't intent to kill him, but instead aimed for his legs, so he couldn't walk anymore. Ezekiel used the opportunity to run away, but Ezekiel was hit in the back by some poweful strike, it wasn't a gunshot, as there wasn't any sound, but it was strong enough to knock Ezekiel to the ground and make it hard for him to get up, meanwhile, the boss got up again, but was only able to stand on his left leg, so he hopped over to Ezekiel to finish him off, but instead of going to strike him, he put out his right hand and begun to concentrate and said, "Its time to die. Mana blast!"
A yellow ball of energy was fired at Ezekiel. He did his all, but he was just outclassed, he didn't stand a chance. Instinctively Ezekiel put his arms out in a futile attempt to block, but all of a sudden a bright light began to blind him. It felt like he was looking at the sun, but he light was so warming and comfortable.
As the bright light disappeared he saw his grandfather's face smiling down at him. Ezekiel asked, "Is this heaven?"
"No you idiot, I have just come to take you home, because its clear you can't fight at all. So I'm going to teach you." Ezekiel's grandfather explained.
"Who are you?" The boss asked.
Ezekiel's grandfather ignored the boss and said to Ezekiel, "Lets go now."
Ezekiel took his grandfather's hand and saw the leopard that was shot getting back up, like nothing had happened, so he asked again, "Are you sure I'm not dead?"
"Who are you?" The boss exclaimed.
"Come on, lets go." Ezekiel's grandfather said. "Dinner will get cold."
The boss hopped over to Ezekiel's grandfather and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention and said, "Old man, stop ignoring me!"
"Grandad watch out, he's behind you!" Ezekiel shouted.
"Well I know that. I'm not acting like he's not there for comedic affect, I'm just too hungry to care." Ezekiel's grandfather replied.
"You bastard!" The boss shouted, as he went to strike Ezekiel's grandfather.
Ezekiel's grandfather simply turned slightly and used his left leg to sweep his left leg, so he fell to the ground.
"Problem solved. Now let's get going." Ezekiel's grandfather sighed.
"Are you just going to leave him here?" Ezekiel asked.
"Don't worry, someone a lot scarier than me will deal with them." George replied.
Once again Ezekiel was blinded by a bright light and suddenly appeared in his room at his grandad's home. However, his room was slightly different, he had carpet and a bed and the bed had a spare change of clothes on it, with a note saying that he could use the showers just this once and that he should be down for dinner in 30minutes.
