Chapter 18 - GLASSCIERRA ENEVIERRA Pt 9 MEGA CHAPTER

The blizzard continued to roar outside, blocking sunlight from the windows, which was annoying but manageable by wiping them every couple of hours, which really wasn't so bad.

Suspense had been building in the common room; most Reyalle-ranked individuals, including the Royals in the Asterianara sector, were still afraid (even after 4 months of waiting) to go directly to Xannathaithen (remember, because of his toxic hair); however, Xannathaithen was getting quite impatient with the wait. Reyalle's in the sector knew his patience was waning by the day and that they needed to get a move on.

However, this proved to be more difficult than it seemed on the outside; you needed to get through the hallway door, which was locked by a security code, and after you got through that part of security, you needed a physical ID card (so think like a modern-day keycard, but it is an ID you need to scan on a scanning panel on the side of the wall) that was next to the door. You would not be allowed in without one, and failure to produce ID would be unacceptable.

which could be punished with a large fine, if not temporary imprisonment, because of that, before anyone went through to that part of the sector in this Place someone in the sector would check to see if you had your Physical ID on you, if not you could go and get it, however if you were one of the unfortunate souls that wasn't checked before getting there you would likely have to deal with the consequences of not having your ID on you.

Yes, there's more security after this. After you get past the Physical ID stage, you will need another passcode, which changes every fortnight. This one is unpredictable for security reasons but usually consists of twelve words spelled out with no spaces, for example:(WHATAREYOUDOINGHEREYOUSHOULDBEINYOURTRAININGSESSION), and that would be your passcode.

You would have to take a guess as to what it is, so obviously, the one I just said would have to be changed because I just told you, but what I didn't tell you is that it actually takes a really long time to change it, so by the time you're reading this, they would only be a quarter of the way

So this guess isn't just any guess; it is what decides between life and death for you. Failure to get this right does result in death, which happens by a chemical imbalance causing internal Sepsis (and I hope you know what sepsis is), and this guess needs to be perfect (obviously), putting effort into this guess so you avoid the terrifying sensation of sepsis.

And after you somehow got through this part of security, you would need another passcode, but it is twice as long, so 24 words spelled out with no spaces, and I (the narrator here) am sure you do not need an example as to what this looks like, and after all of those security details, you have your personal password and PIN and badge number, after you imput this, your are let through.

Xannathaithen was in his office when he got the security notification that someone was making their way into the premises. At last, at last, his patience was renewed. One of the higher-ranking Reyalles had entered, and the two exchanged glances before commencing work. This is a common thing, Xannathaithen likes to keep the most valuable, most close to him, while the rest are left to work alone without assistance whatsoever.

After the two had discussed their methods, Xannathaithen departed the room (he was immune to security measures) and soon returned with the weapon, an advanced syringe with a scalpel on the end of it. This meant an incision, while the poison from the needle would seep into your skin.

(dark, I know, but regardless, it's a detail that is necessary "sigh") He handed it to the high-ranking Reyalle, and both proceeded out of the premises and entered the portion of the place where prisoners were kept. After the ahem, execution was completed.....Xannathaithen would inject his hair toxin into the bloodstream (instant death), and the high-ranking reyalle would head back to their original Sector

The blizzard continued to roar outside, blocking sunlight from the windows, which was annoying but manageable by wiping them every couple of hours, which really wasn't so bad. (said by a mysterious writing ghost) The blizzard continued to roar despite it being near midnight now, night watches had begun as per usual, as it did every night, no guard was out of place, all were in their posts as they were supposed to be.

Rythennia, however, was in her office, continuing to get through the mountains of paperwork she had to do. The AAACDREI was approaching fast, and she was only halfway, so she needed to get a move on. Fortunately for her, the high-ranking reyalle had detoured from their original sector they were heading to and found her struggling with the paperwork, after rythennia reluctantly accepted their help after the higher-ranking reyalle had asked if they needed it.

With their help, they got through most of it, meaning rythennia had finished the paperwork in half the time she was expected to (50 years) instead of 100 years. At least this meant they would be on time for the AAACDREI audit.

Xannathaithen was rather pleased with this development. This meant he didn't have to worry about the paperwork anymore; he could finally relax, and this was a shining light on the fact he hadn't slept in centuries since the paperwork had piled up on his end, given that Rythennia had just completed it all (unknowingly with the Higher-ranked Reyalles' help unbeknownst to Xannathaithen), this pleased him greatly.

And by the time the audit came around, they passed with flying colors. The auditors checked everything from timezones to the microbiomes on each of the planets in their sectors, to the air quality of their world/s and the justice systems in place for each one, including that laws were up to date and were still effective, and that offending these laws was judged justly and fairly, not only the laws.

But the legislation and their technology were up to date and effective, so security was perfected and increased if required, and of the highest quality.

Now Xannathaithen and the rest of the royals could have a nice, long, relaxing vacation, although I wonder where... could it be amongst everyday humans? (The Thaixanna Lords won't allow it, but they don't follow rules, at least not now, after all of that work for a single audit)
