Chapter 122 - Chapter 121: Energy Wolf: Fully Filled

Nejire Chan slowly got up. She trained up her body so she would have more stamina for her quirk, like swimming which really helped her thighs. But thanks to the villain she felt like she used to be back at the beginning of UA after a particularly long day. Like she was a vampire in the sun. "Everything wants me sleeping …" She muttered.

"What the heck just happened?" Ryukyu looked around, getting the rubble off of her, before noticing Nighteye on the ground. "Nighteye what…NIGHTEYE!" She shouted as Uravaity and Froppy ran close to him, seeing a giant spike piercing his torso.

"I'm … sorry." The man muttered out.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, you got caught off guard, now let's get you out and-"

"No…I saw it all coming…and there's nothing I could've done to stop it…" The pro interrupted. "I lead Mirio down this path….Iruma's going to die…all because I fueled his spite…." What!?

"No, NO!" Uravity shouted at the man. "We can go out there, we can save him-"

"I saw the future." The man spoke. "Iruma is killed as Chisaki gets away … there's nothing we can do."

"I'm not going to accept tha-" Uravity started to cough up blood from her face. Like, every orifice from her face. "It's like my insides are crushed …" Ryukyu began to console her.

"Iruma's not going to die." Froppy finished for her friend, scowling at the sky.. "He's survived many, many, MANY dangerous situations that should've killed him, and that was before he was able to use his quirk. Call it luck, divine intervention, or sheer stupidity, but I don't believe for a second that there's nothing we can't do!" Froppy climbed up the walls and started leaping. "When it comes to Iruma, nothing is certain!"

"I'm sorry … it's come to this." Nighteye clutched himself, even as Mirio tried to help by breaking off the rock from its spot. They couldn't just remove it after all. "I'm sorry I doomed his future-"

"So the boy ran off!" They all turned to a bird mask man, the leader who … looked really bloodshot and unhinged. "He got this far on determination and spite right!?" He laughed, walking to the big guy's broken body (Uravity really did a number on it near the end) and touching it, as it exploded. "Then let's go on and meet that, PLUS ULTRA RIGHT!?" The villain got bigger, and bigger, now a giant red bird monster with a lot of hands, screaming out in rage.

"Is there really nothing that we can do?" Nejire asked Mirio.

"Sir's visions have never been wrong…but for once I'm going to ignore that." Mirio looked to the sky as most of them were powerless to stop Overhaul from climbing out. "If he can make Bubble girl laugh, anything is possible." She really hoped he was right on this one. That he really did have the power to make the impossible possible.

'We're so high up.. ' Iruma thought to himself as he clung Eri close to him. He forced himself to use all the spoonfuls on his legs for Rocket Man, but he never expected to be this high. Was this what Bunny-sensei felt when he leapt everywhere when he had One For All? It was amazing.

Oh shoot, how was he supposed to land with two broken legs? He could probably use his arms to slow down the fall with a right hook punch, all he needed to do was have Eri cling to his neck like Kota did, and keep her steady.

Speaking of, his cookbook has been acting weird, telling him to let her go. That was stupid. He reached down, moving all four of his limbs and-wait, all four? He created a landing after using a bit of stored up power from leftovers, looking confused at his legs. "They're … not broken."

Was it a fully filled rocket man? Did he use leftovers in the jump? No, he felt his legs break, and his fur should have absorbed the leftovers for later use, he can't keep it for too long after all. So what was the differe-His head was screaming at him to let her go, to get away.

"I'm…I'm sorry…" Eri said with a small cry of tears, her horn was glowing with a bright spark. "My..My curse is on…"

"Your … healing me?" He asked her with confusion. If she hurt people by healing them, it was like the quirk All Forty One used. But this was different, it felt like his body was burning and twisting.

"You better get away from her…once her powers start, I'm the only one who can stop her!" Overbird shouted, in another monster form, reaching out for him as Iruma leapt out of the way with Eri in his arms. "Let me tell you something, as a courtesy between two men who hate heroes. Her quirk is Rewind. She unconsciously rewinds cells and DNA in any form. From injuries, to evolution, to age, to non-existence!" Wait, non existence? "The longer you hold on to her, the more you'll dwindle away into nothing! Just like her real dad."

"She's…she's just like me…" Iruma kept her close. "She just can't control her power, all she needs is help." His body burnt, now he gave meaning to the pain and the buzz in head.

"Help? I'm the only one who can turn it off. You're going to die if you don't let her go. Or I could kill you and make it painless." Overbird reached out a hand. "Come on Eri, do you really want to kill someone else with your curse?"

"She's not going to kill me! Her quirk is a blessing! She just needs …" He remembered something Bakugo once said. All quirks have a limit … "She just needs something moving forward faster than she can rewind!"

'My power constantly hurts me if I over use it, It breaks my bones to pieces if I use it too much.' He looked at the mid claws, busted and unusable. He ripped them off with the fur sleeves on his arms and legs. He cracked his neck, wrapping her around his neck. "Eri, you need to be my cape, alright? So don't let go, no matter what." His body started to spark, red lines covering his limbs as what looked like a purple fire glowed off of him. "One For All: Energy Wolf! Fully Filled!"

He dashed forward, legs breaking as he delivered an arm breaking punch against Overbird, sending the man flying. He began dashing on all fours with his healed body, now letting out blow after blow, attack after attack. 'Hey, this is actually working out better than I expected.'

The bastard constantly used what was around him to make him a monster, so in the sky, as long as he kept ripping him apart, he would have less stuff to make him bigger. So this is what it's like to form a plan on the spot.

==

Miriko grunted. Having once more returned after being hit with the minute hand. The only reason this bastard managed to get as far as he did was constantly messing with their perception on time, and the only reason he hasn't killed them yet was fending off anyone he hasn't managed with. Luckily, he hasn't managed to hit anyone with the hour hand, so nobody was truly out of the game.

'I really thought I'd be getting my Kit out of danger by this point.' She huffed as she tried to push herself up. Maybe Nighteye had a small, small, miniscule of a point, but that just meant Kit needed her if this was what followed him everywhere. 'Damn it, I really did become a mom.' The fact she was worried if he was eating enough should've been a clue.

"So you're just gonna play the stall game, or do you plan on taking us out?" Rock Lock asked, joining the cracking from overusing his quirk on bullets and those hands.

"As long as Eraser Head doesn't get to Overhaul, I really don't care what you do." Right, the one guy who could negate quirks was stuck with a man who could be skilled without his. "So I could go all day."

"Make it very soon." A new voice, one of the LOV came into the room, the masked magician guy. "I came to lend a hand, we do have an alliance after all."

"Right, because your guys have been so helpful so far." Chrono rolled his eyes before waving him off. "Just take the other two out of here and maybe Overhaul won't shred your boss to pieces.

"Righty oh." The man looked at her before giving a wink, running at her with an extended hand. She could either avoid it easily and kick his ass … or she could do this Kit style and trust the villain. On the one hand, it sounded stupid…but on the off chance it worked, she get to rub it in the prick's face.

"Oh what the hell?" If Kettei could make it work for him, why couldn't she? "What's the…"

"The moment you're free, kick to the left." And she faked missing her shot as she was compressed. So she waited in the cramped space … and waited … and now she was suddenly free once more.

"The hell-" She didn't give him a second to react.

"LUNAR SPEAR!" She shot her foot right into clock heads face, knocking him right off of Aizawa. "Aha! My Kit was right! Enemy of my enemy and all!" She wouldn't go into friend territory on that.

"Why you…" Clock head tried to shoot the hour hand at them…only for it to sink back into his face. "Aw shit." That was all he could say when Rock Lock placed a hand on him, freezing him in place.

"I hope you don't expect us to be drinking buddies or whatever just because you helped us." Her ex looked at the LOV member as Aizawa readied a few eyedrops.

"Perish the thought. I'm only here to help one of our own." The magician waved his hands. "Just know that you should probably find the young Suzuki before he pulls a permanent disappearing act."

"What?" She and Eraser Head asked in usion.

"He's holding a girl named Eri that's literally rewinding his code to dust unless he breaks his bones every second … so says my friends by com." They said WHAT!?

"Of course he is, because what else did I expect today?" The teacher groaned before glaring at the villains with his red eyes. "We'll be keeping a close eye on…"

"Damn it, you idiot, I'm not actually here!" The magician began to turn brown and slimy. "I had plans later!" The villain fell flat, staring at the puddle.

"He seemed so lifelike." She muttered, before shaking her head. "Right, Eraser, hop on my back, i'm speeding us forward." She was going to be there for her Kit this time!

Overhaul should have just said the boy was going to die instead of explaining the details of her quirk, because now he was a massive target for the boy who, frankly, disobeyed quirk physics in terms of sheer power. He managed to break his arms to throw punches that could blow him to bits even with his new muscle mass. HOW!? "Just give up kid!" And he was too bulky to touch the now blazing child.

"Why in the world would I do something as stupid as that!?" Kettei seemingly jumped from the air itself, tearing apart one of his massive legs. "You keep losing meat to heal yourself, so I'm going to keep tearing it off until you stop being ugly!

"That 'meat' belongs to a companion of mine!" Overhaul shouted, trying once more to grab him. "You're going to kill him beyond my help if you keep this up!"

"You already killed him when you used your power! Don't try to guilt me!"

"I didn't kill him, as long as I have enough mass I can put anyone back together!" He shouted. "Even Eri, as soon as I damage her you'll have no choice but to hand her over!"

"She's not going to get hurt!" Kettei kicked him across the face. "I don't care if I have to keep this up forever! If I'm the only one who can keep her safe, I'll keep breaking my body until she has the chance to be happy!" Another kick was sent into his chest.

"She's killing you because you're trying to help her!" This was repetitive at this point. "You're not going to be able to keep this up forever!"

"Do you even know what my hero name means!?" Even with that ridiculous wolf mask ripped off his costume, the boy looked more feral than the wildest animal he's ever come across. "I'm Determined! If I say I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die!" A punch blew off his arm. "If I say I'm going to keep this girl happy, I'm going to keep her happy!" Two punches blew off his legs. "And if I say I'm going to punch you in the face to save her….!"

Overhaul's eyes widened as the boy loomed over his head, the very sky looking like it was cracking from his mere presence. He…he was prey, he was being hunted…he was going to get devoured! "Stay BACK!" He shot whatever rubble he had left at him, hoping for even a moment of breathing room.

"..Then I'm going to punch you in the face…really, really hard!" And the boy followed with a blow that he could feel enter his entire body, breaking him down as he coughed out blood, flying down to the ground and hitting like a meteor. His boss … he needed to … damn it.

Mirai was slowly carried out of the building on a carrier, coughing a bit into his hand. Now he was in that middle state between adrenaline and dopamine, his body unable to do anything to deal with the pain. The only reason he was awake was will. He needed to do something, make sure everyone else was fine. Uravity and Nejire Chan received serious injuries, and Lemillion lost his quirk.

Mirio, the boy who he initially saw as nothing more than a capable vessel for One For All. His Permeation quirk combined with OFA's strength would've made a truly invincible and infallible symbol of peace, easily the next choice to replace All Might.

But as time went on, he saw the progress he made, and got to know him as an actual person. The training, the paperwork, the jokes that no one else but Nighteye found funny. It was probably the closest feeling Mirai ever had to having a son.

His biggest failure of the day no doubt would be Iruma's death. Everything that happened today was his fault. His stubbornness, his insistence that Mirio needed One For All for the world to be just as safe as when All Might was in his prime. He egged on Iruma's anger, and that was causing him to act irrationally and on impulse.

'I should've helped him.' Even if he was far from the perfect choice, he should've done more than call out the boy's flaws. A quirkless doormat from an abusive home that was brainwashed to go along with everything? It wasn't the boy that was the problem, it was the entirely horrible situation that came along with him, and now Mirai would die, and the boy was going to die, hating heroes, hating people like him because Mirai was a terrible person who led people to their deaths.

He heard a gasp, turning to see Froppy, Creati, and a thin Fatgum all looking at … Iruma. He was alive? He should have died by now, was Overhaul-no, the villain was unconscious. However, Kettei was still screaming. Blue and yellow lightning danced around, creating occasional white sparks. The air was filled with a high pitched noise that sounded like souls crying out for help. "It's not breaking fast enough. The rewind sped up." He could hear the boy mutter, looking worse for wear.

"Iruma.." Froppy attempted to reach out to him, but the boy stepped back.

"Don't, I'm the only one who can get close to her!" Iruma shouted back at them. "It's…going to be fine…I just need to keep…!" The boy could barely stand straight with the girl in question crying as her horn lit up.

"My curse, it's going…" Eri attempted to say.

"It's not a curse. You saved me Eri…we beat…Overbird together…" The kid turned around and got on his knees, looking at the girl right in the eye. "I'm here for you Eri…so everythings going to be alright." The boy cried in pain with a smile that was somehow still able to convey pure kindness and reassurance….just like All Might…."Just need more damage, faster than this, I can-"

Both of the sparks stopped, almost anticlimactically, in a single instance. "Seriously Problem Child … you should know better at this point." EraserHead, on the back of Miriko, stared at them with red eyes and hair.

"I'm the only one who could've held her to get away.." Kettie looked at them, before looking at the unconscious Overhaul and the goon he mutated himself with. "Looks like Eri saved all of us…be grateful for that…you bastard." He then turned to the little girl. "Eri, you're gonna be fine, alright?" The boy told her, receiving a teary nod. "Just want you to know that before I pass out." The boy's eyes rolled into the back of his head as he collapsed … alive.

"He…changed the future..he changed what I saw…" Mirai stared at the sight. "The future…can be changed?" How? He and All Might spent over a decade trying to change the future to no avail. How did this child manage to do the same?

"Like I said, when It comes to Iruma, nothing is certain." Froppy held the boy upright. "Anything can happen whenever he's around." Nighteye couldn't help but do the one thing he was certain would never happen during this kid's work study.

He smiled.
