"And it'll be a deluxe third-anniversary memorial service! Shall we burn the Cosmic Cube for her then, so she can figure out how to space jump back down there?!"

Steve watched everything silently, then shook his head helplessly.

So similar.

It's so similar.

Tony's furious, helpless expression was exactly like Howard's back in the day.

Henry, on the other hand, always remained calm and collected, yet he possessed the ability to infuriate people with just a few words... well, Howard didn't have that.

However, this feeling isn't bad.

He could sense that beneath their sharp tongues lay a deep bond of kinship.

They all care about each other.

He was still feeling heartbroken and guilty about Tony's comments about Howard.

But now, seeing Tony's energetic appearance, the gloom in his heart seemed to have dissipated somewhat.

Perhaps Howard is not a perfect father.

But without a doubt, he raised two sons in his own way that he could be proud of.

"That's why I said it was just a backup plan." Henry shrugged, completely unfazed by Tony's overwhelming rage.

"So we still have to wait for Thor to come back. He's the prince of Asgard, Odin's own son. He can't go back on his word, can he? If he dares to stand us up, we'll file a complaint against him with the Universal Consumer Association, accusing him of false advertising, and we'll also put up banners in front of his temple." Tony's eyes twitched as he listened. Put up banners in Asgard? How could he even think of that?

But he had to admit that, all they could do now seemed to be trust in Saul's character.

He thought about it for a while, and finally sighed helplessly.

He slumped back into his chair, picked up his glass, and downed the rest of his whiskey in one gulp.

What else can you do? Try to reason with him? He'll have a thousand fallacies to come.

Fight him? I'm not even sure I can beat this monster who gets stronger just by sunbathing.

What else can we do but go crazy with him?

Tony suddenly felt a pang of sadness.

Once upon a time, he was the undisputed boss at home, able to freely control his younger brother's allowance and pin him down on the sofa—the invincible older brother. Now, the tables have turned, and he's the one left cleaning up his brother's messes, constantly getting so angry he's questioning his own existence.

I can't live like this anymore!

"Alright, Tony, stop looking like the whole world has abandoned you." Steve spoke gently as the atmosphere eased.

"Henry is right. We can't put all our hopes on an unknown technological problem. Waiting for Thor's return is indeed the safest approach right now."

He glanced at Peggy, who was lying quietly in the medical pod, and his eyes softened.

"Peggy waited her whole life. Now, it's our turn to wait for her." His tone became affectionate.

Tony looked at Steve, then at Henry, and finally let out a long sigh.

Okay, he admitted that he had indeed lost his composure a bit.

It was probably because of what Henry and the Ancient One said that he felt irritated.

He couldn't forget those inexplicable phrases like "sacrificing oneself" and "snapping fingers."

He was eager to do something, to prove that he could control everything, which is why he was sensitive to the term "three to five years".

He didn't want to admit that he was actually a little scared.

"Alright, alright," Tony waved his hand impatiently.

"I'm not throwing a tantrum. I'm just conducting a stress test. Clearly, someone's plan is completely flawed."

He glanced at Henry sideways and said stubbornly.

"However, for the sake of the captain, I'll reluctantly agree to your flawed plan. But if that blond, big-chested guy doesn't come back within half a month, I'll activate my plan B."

"Oh?" Henry raised an eyebrow.

"What's your plan B? To put up a statue of him in Times Square and write 'Thor' on it, and your mom's calling you home for dinner?'" Tony rolled his eyes and spoke confidently.

"My plan is to personally crack the Cosmic Cube in half a month. I'll show you what real Stark efficiency is." He would never admit that he just wanted an excuse to immerse himself in work and forget about his troubles.

Henry smiled at Tony's arrogant expression.

This is the Tony Stark he knows.

Always confident, always stubborn, always saying one thing and meaning another.

"I'm always ready." Henry raised his glass and toasted him from afar.

"I look forward to the day you slap yourself in the face."

The plan was temporarily finalized, and the atmosphere finally eased.

Tony didn't waste any words and immediately began his research, even though the occasion wasn't quite right.

"Alright, since we've decided to update our two seniors." Tony slid his arm, bringing up a huge holographic screen in the air, which was covered with dense data and human anatomy diagrams.

"Then we need to figure out what level of thing we're facing this time."

He pointed to the real-time body data of Peggy and Steve on the screen, his expression turning serious.

"Aunt Peggy's situation is as I've described before. And our goal is not just to enhance her, but to make her younger."

"And Captain, you…" Tony's gaze turned to Steve, his eyes becoming somewhat strange.

"Your situation is more special. You still have the original version of the Super Soldier Serum in your body. Although you have aged for decades, the activity of these cells is still far beyond that of ordinary people. This is both a good thing and a bad thing."

"The good thing is that your physical condition is much better than Aunt Peggy's, so you'll be more compatible with our super serum. The bad thing is…" Tony stroked his chin, his brow furrowed.

"What kind of chemical reaction will occur in your body from the two different versions of the Super Soldier Serum is unknown. The best outcome is that you evolve directly into an enhanced version of Captain America. The worst outcome is that you might turn into fireworks."

Steve listened quietly, a smile on his face.

He could hear the hidden concern in Tony's words.

"My life should have ended seventy years ago," he said gently.

"It's a blessing from God that we've come this far together. Tony, Henry, just go for it. Whatever the outcome, we believe in you."

This unconditional trust stirred something within Tony.

He pursed his lips and muttered, "Don't be so sentimental. I don't believe in God. I only believe in science and myself."
