Normally, the Campiones would forget the entire meeting with Pandora unless they, too, had something that allowed them to remember. Yakou knew the reason behind this, or at least, he suspected the reason behind this.
It was precisely because of The Great Circle of Usurpation, which was the source of the Campione's creation. There was no way that both Pandora and Epimetheus would want for everyone to know how the process worked and see it.

In the Huaxian Mythos, having Double Pupils or Polycoria Eyes was considered to be a highly auspicious omen. The people born with the Polycoria Eyes were considered as Blessed by the Heavens, and they were supreme talents in the Martial Arts or Magic.
Some of the legendary figures in Huaxia's history who reached the Martial Arts Lord Level or Magic Lord Level in ancient times were actually the ones who were born with the Polycoria Eyes.

The entire place was warded with countless Spells and Wards that would do the job, while some of his Shikigami were often strolling into the Dungeons and patrolling them from time to time. In the end, there was no real need for the guards to be stationed in the dungeons.
Not even right now, when he was imprisoning the Divine Beast Gulltoppr there.
Though, it wasn't like the guards would be of any use in the face of a powerful Divine Beast like Gulltoppr that had A-Ranked Parameters and was far stronger than anything that Yakou could actually station there.

Just one dose of the T-Virus could probably destroy the entire human race if one didn't take into account the existence of Magic.
Marika told him that even without the Magic Segment in the T-Virus, the virus was extremely deadly, could spread through the air, water, and almost any other humans, was extremely resilient, and was impossible to cure through general means.
"Hmm... the seals that I put on it are still active, but there are signs of struggle..."
Yakou observed the Fūinjutsu Seals that he had put on the Gulltoppr some time ago, and while they were in rather good condition, there were already some signs of damage.

After the death of Heimdallr, Gulltoppr basically lost the Blessing of the All-Seeing God, as only fragments of the Blessing remained within the body of the Divine Beast, which were far from being as strong as they had been when the Heretic God was still present.
And it also lost the Pseudo Divine Authority of the Guardian of Bifröst, which meant that it also couldn't use the Bifröst Energy Manipulation anymore. This greatly diminished the combat capabilities of the Divine Beast.
Though when he looked at the Parameters of the Divine Beast, something came to his mind.

Three weeks have passed since the encounter with the Heretic God that destroyed much of the Numengard's surroundings. Yakou spent one whole week devising the methods of sealing the Divine Beast Gulltoppr properly, and thanks to that, he progressed immensely in his comprehension of Fūinjutsu.
Even then, without the huge boosts brought by the continual usage of the Divine Authority of the Mímir's Well, something like this wouldn't be possible at all. Thanks to that, he managed to create some sort of provisional Fūinjutsu Seals that should hold the Divine Beast Gulltoppr for some time.
During that time, he began researching the Blood Essence and how to safely extract its components without crippling the host. This was a rather arduous task because there were few records in the archives of the Illuminati Society or the Tsuchimikado Clan regarding the Blood Essence.
Even the seized archives of the destroyed History Compilation Committee were rather scarce. He was forced to work with what he had, and it wasn't a lot in the first place, so the progress was rather slow.
In the end, the concept of the Blood Essence was pretty obscure, and perhaps the only faction in the world that delved into the depths of the Blood Essence was the Holy Cult of the Five Mountains, led by Luo Hao.
But Yakou couldn't just bring himself to ask Luo Hao for anything, because the last thing that he wanted was to be indebted to another Campione. Perhaps in the future, when the relationship between the United States of Federal Americas, Huaxia, and Lost Domain gets closer, they could cooperate on this topic.
Voban's Lost Domain was sheltering the largest population of Vampires and Vampire Covens in the entire world, so Yakou was sure that they would also have rather extensive lore on the topic of Blood Essence.
Though the same cannot be said about the research projects done at HIVE, because the scientists there were absolutely thrilled to obtain a stable source of the Divine Blood belonging to the Divine Beast.
The uses of the Divine Blood were immense, and there were too many of them to count.
Even the most rudimentary use of the Divine Blood, which was creating Genetic Strengthening Serums, was a staggering improvement for the entire United States of Federal Americas.
Because the effects of the Genetic Strengthening Serums were inheritable, this was basically the long-term investment into the Eugenics that would slowly raise the overall "Lifeform Level" of the entire Federation.
If both parents were genetically strengthened, then these effects would be further passed on to the offspring of the parents. In the long-term development of the USFA, this was one of the strategic goals, as it would allow them to increase the talent pool for the future.
In the future, more and more talented people would be born in their territory, and even if their aptitude for the Magic would not be much, they would be at least far stronger than average humans thanks to the effects of the Genetic Strengthening Serums.
Though Yakou suspected that if the Genetic Strengthening Serums were made from the Divine Blood of the Divine Beast, then it should enhance the people's aptitude for Magic...
It was just questionable how strong the enhancement level would be, but Yakou knew that it wouldn't be much... at least through one generation, it wouldn't be much noticeable, because the actual amount of the Divine Blood in each Genetic Strengthening Serum was minuscule.
Perhaps if the Genetic Strengthening Serums were administered to the successive generations of people whose ancestors also took the Genetic Strengthening Serums, then it would be vastly different.
The researchers in the HIVE also researched this possibility, but that was research that would span the entire decades. Mostly because if one were to be injected with the Genetic Strengthening Serums, they needed to be at least 25 years old.
"What do you want to do with that girl? She has been confined in the Society's holding facility for a few months already."
Today, like most mornings, Yakou was having breakfast together with Eve, Kirari, and Marie, who were living in the Numengard Estate. Usually, even Keira would be present, but there were some things that she needed to personally oversee in the Pentagon, so she didn't return home for the past week.
It seemed that there were some Dark Mages operating on the outskirts of Canada, which became the 51st State of the Union, and they were doing some sketchy rituals. So, the Mage-Knight Blazer Corps Regiment was deployed there, and they were hunting them down.
Yakou heard that the place where the Dark Mages had their base, a Tomb, had descended not long ago, and it was creating problems for the local officials. This was another form the Tombs that had just descended recently and belonged to the category of Tombs that were descending in great numbers.
"I don't know... Initially, she was captured to serve for breeding new Magic Lines for the Federation. She is still very young, and her Magic Bloodline is very strong, so it shouldn't be a problem for her to give birth to a few tens of children throughout her life."
The person who was the topic of Yakou's and Eve's discussion was obviously Sayanomiya Kaoru, the former Heiress Apparent of the Sayanomiya Family of the History Compilation Committee, whom Keira captured in Tokyo during the Culling Game some time ago.
Since then, she was placed in confinement, as they were still deciding on what to do with her.
The initial plan was to let her become a breeding mother and let her give birth to children throughout her entire life, before they would initially kill her and dissect her corpse for Magic Materials.
"Can't we just keep her? She would be a nice toy..."
Marie and Kirari said almost at the same time, as they ate their breakfast served by Head Maid Katagiri, who was now sitting on Yakou's lap.
"Yeah, and she would be broken in a few months or weeks, depending on what you will do to her... and as much as I think it would be pretty entertaining, she has actual value compared to the other toys we play with."
Even though Yakou admitted that it would be really interesting to break someone like Sayanomiya Kaoru into pieces like the other toys whom he, Kirari, and Marie enjoyed... this one had some kind of strategic value.
"What? Do you want to keep her for yourself for breeding?"
Eve asked because if Yakou wasn't really planning on keeping her, then they could either send her away to some facility where the Illuminati Society was keeping captured female Mages from the established Lineages for their lives, where their only fate was to be raped, impregnated, and give birth.
And then repeat over and over until they were disposed of.
Officially termed as Childcare Cultivation Facility, or what as some called "Happy Farm".
"No... I don't want to have anything to do with that filthy blood of traitors... either send her to the Farm or sell her... didn't we get offers from Kataharas and some other factions?"
And while Yakou was tempted, he considered it far beneath his status to rape someone like Sayanomiya Kaoru, whom he considered a filthy traitor.
"Yes... Actually, several... one is from the Katahara Family, several from the Kengan Association, and one from the Kure Clan... and I even have a formal proposal from the Momobami Clan and Mamiya Conglomerate."
Eve, who usually handled the Clan's foreign relations as the Clan's unofficial Matriarch, had received multiple offers for Sayanomiya Kaoru because she was considered precious merchandise.
As she said the last two subjects, both Eve and Yakou looked at Kirari and Marie, as everyone knew what they wanted to say to Sayanomiya Kaoru.
"Really?"
Yakou asked with an exhausted expression, since he could already predict what they were offering.
"Kirari is offering a blowjob, and Marie is offering... unsurprisingly also oral sex."
Eve said the offers by the Momobami Cland and Mamiya Conglomerate, as both Kirari and Marie looked like there wasn't anything wrong with their offers.

He was more curious about the offers from the Kure Clan and Katahara Family.
The one from the Kengan Association would mostly consist of money and other material things, which weren't something he lacked or was interested in.
Meanwhile, the offers from the Kure Clan and the Katahara Family would be far more interesting... not to mention they had much more to offer, and Yakou already had some relationship with both of them.
Now that he spoke about the Kure Clan, he wondered when the Kure Karura and Kure Fusui would arrive. He was sure that the two of them would arrive in the near future, though even he didn't know when.
"Katahara Family is offering a partial Manual of the Niko Style Martial Art. They only have some part of the Niko Style Martial Art, but even what they have has immense value and was personally put together by Kanoh Agito."
Yakou was actually surprised that the Katahara Family managed to get their hand on something like Niko Style Martial Art. He had some impression of the Niko Style, because it was one of the Core Martial Arts of the Holy Cult of the Five Mountains.
It was created by Long Xiu and the Long Family of the Holy Cult, rearranging the Gaoh Style with some parts of the Kaiwan Style into something more useful in the modern age.
The Niko Style Martial Art was made up of four different katas, or forms, each of which must be fully mastered in order for the Niko Style to be complete. Niko Style Martial Art placed a high focus on adaptability and applicability; many of the techniques were not set patterns, but rather basic principles that can be applied in multiple situations.
The Niko Style Martial Art utilized unique styles of training to maximize the user's physical conditioning. This includes underwater shadow-boxing, which combines anaerobic exercise with water resistance, to improve muscular and cardiovascular functions.
"Well... this is rather tempting... the Niko Style Martial Art is one of the few that could be used regardless of the Source."
Yakou would be lying if he said that he wasn't seriously tempted, because even though it was only a partial manual of the Niko Style Martial Art, the Style itself could be used regardless of the Source.
Meaning that even Mages or other Classes could use the Niko Style Martial Art to a high degree. He heard about this from Kanoh Agito, who was one of the few masters of the Niko Style Martial Art outside of the Long Family of the Holy Cult.
It seemed that the Niko Style Martial Art was created with this in mind.
Usually, to unleash the full power of any Martial Art, one needed to be a Martial Artist and have Chi; otherwise, the effects of the Martial Art would be diminished to varying degrees... but according to Kanoh Agito, Niko Style Martial Art was created to be used by any Source.
"Well... then wait for what the Kure Clan is offering for her..."
Eve made a pause, signaling that the offer from the Kure Clan was even more outrageous than the one from the Katahara Family. Well, it was rather expected, because Sayanomiya Kaoru was the last member of the Sayanomiya Family.
Her Magic Bloodline was older than a millennium and was pure and powerful.
One could say that it could be a building block for the foundation of a new Magic Lienage Family.
"Well... as long as we sign a Geass that it would remain only in the hands of the Tsuchimikado Clan, then the Kure Clan is willing to offer their notes on the Removal... not the technique per se, but insights on the Removal and its principles."
Suddenly, when Yakou heard that, he stopped teasing Aira on her intimate parts, because he was shocked by what he heard.
The Kure Clan was extremely strict with its ancestral teachings and techniques, as shown even now, when it was not offering the Removal Technique itself but rather its core principles and inner workings.
Removal was a Secret Technique of the Kure Clan. It is the ability to consciously remove the brain's limits on an individual's muscular strength output.
As such, while regular humans are naturally unable to access more than 30% of their body's muscular strength, the Kure were bred to access a greater amount of their latent muscular strength.
That being said, the percentage of the population they have access to varies by individual, and while those outside the Clan 'could' use this technique, only Kure Clansmen possessed the physical constitution needed to handle the unrestrained exertion of muscle strength.
Yakou knew that the true value of the Removal... Luo Hao used this technique to break through the constraints of the Campione's Restriction to temporarily raise her explosive power far beyond what it should be.
Or it was allowed to be.
"I guess that the second condition that you didn't mention is that I marry both Karura and Fusui... otherwise that coot Erioh wouldn't agree to propose something like this even if they are offering just the principles of Removal."
Hearing what he said made Eve just nod in agreement, because the Kure Clan attached this kind of condition ot it.
Only the main line Kure branch was taught the Family Traditions, though this custom had long since fallen out of use by the time Erioh became the head of the Clan. Some of the Family Tradition Techniques were already exchanged with outsiders if the other side was offering too good a deal.
"Agree to the proposal of the Kure Clan... even though the Niko Style Martial Art is valuable... the Removal could be used even by Campiones if they knew the correct application."
Compared to the Niko Style Martial Art, the principles of the Removal were far more valuable because they could be used even by someone like Campiones... Luo Hao used her own version of the Removal called Guihun, and its power was the real deal.
Yakou knew that the Holy Cult of the Five Mountains would never exchange their version of Removal, the Guihun, but there may be hope for the Niko Style Martial Art.
If he could use the Removal, then he could obtain a technique that could increase his explosive combat prowess by a tremendous degree, which could then serve as his trump card.
"Alright... I will notify Patriarch Erioh, and we can conduct the exchange when the Kures arrive at the Numengard."
Eve said because even she was leaning more toward the offer from the Kure Clan.
Anything that could increase the combat prowess of the Campione was beyond rare. The number of techniques that worked for the Campiones could be counted on one hand, and most of them were Martial Arts personally created by Luo Hao.
And there was no way that someone like Martial Ruler would willingly impart her techniques to a third person... There was essentially no way that she would do that, because the Martial Art Techniques that she created were as strong as Divine Authorities.
Though in his humble opinion, they were stronger than many Divine Authorities, and at the same time, they didn't have any restrictions.

Once the matter with the last remaining member of the Sayanomiya Family was settled, Yakou departed from the Numengard Estate for the main estate of the Holton Family, as he had some business there.
One of them was an invitation from the Patriarch of the Family, George Holton, to discuss something that he wasn't really willing to speak about in public, but it was something with an Heirloom that the Holton Family obtained some years ago and was causing them trouble.
Another thing was that Yakou actually had some things he wanted to deal with, which were concerning the future endeavors of Militech and the huge modernization within the Federal Military that was coming up.
The deal with the Lockheed-Lazarus Armatech was reached, according to the calculation, even though they wouldn't be able to fulfill the plan in time. The Holton Family was one of the largest consortia in the entire world, and their economic pull was staggering.
The Holton Family was initially an aristocratic household that had originated in England and crossed over to the US in the past. Their wealth was built on finance, but their reach extended to other businesses as well.
The main estate of the Holton Family was even larger than the Numengard Estate, as just from the first glance, it was at least twice as big as Yakou's own home. However, that was given, because it was the main residence of the Holton Family for over two centuries already.
It was renovated many times, and it was being expanded throughout the long decades over and over.
So as the time went on, the estate was getting larger and larger, with more facilities being installed and more things being added.
When Yakou stepped out of the area in a standard armored vehicle protected by a convoy of other vehicles, he was rather impressed at the grandiosity of the main residence of the Holton Family.
He knew that their family encountered some trouble with the Heirloom, and if he were to guess, then it was one of the more troublesome Heirlooms that were also dangerous to their Users.
Some Relics had really serious side effects when the User was using them. Sometimes it was due to the fundamental nature of their power, or it was just a mechanism of the Relic. Either way,
Not everyone had the luxury of inviting Campione to resolve the issue.
Yakou went only because the person who was asking him was a Knight of the Round Table, and he didn't really have a problem helping the members of the Society if it was a problem that required his intervention.
Obviously, he wouldn't be running around for things that some random Relic Appraiser, or Restorator could handle, but if there was an interesting case like this one, he didn't mind lending a hand.
George Holton was already waiting for him as he exited the car. If one didn't know him, it would be pretty easy to mistake him for a well-dressed thug or pimp... that crimson-red suit and the shining golden "chain" around his neck were really creating such an impression.
Notwithstanding his rather unusual fashion sense, he was assertive, confident, talented, and resourceful, and he knew how to properly exact vengeance on those who harmed his family and allies.
Apparently, he doted on his younger sister to the extreme.
"Welcome to our home, Your Majesty."
Despite his rough appearance, he was extremely formal when he spoke to Yakou, as the Campione in question just waved his hand.
"No need for the strict formalities."
Yakou stated that because there was no need for formality right now, as he was going to handle the important stuff straight away.
"So what is the problem with the Heirloom that you mentioned?"
The Campione asked as the Patriarch of the Holton Family led him to the enormous drawing room, which was one of many within the estate.
"Several weeks ago... my younger sister Irene, found an Heirloom in one auction where they were auctioning some antique items. After she brought back the Heirloom, she unknowingly bonded with it, and then the problems started as the Heirloom started going haywire from time to time and releasing its abilities on a random basis."
Hearing the explanation of the situation only confirmed Yakou's pre-existing suspicions about the situation. He already suspected that someone from the Holton Family was a victim of the malicious Relic or Heirloom.
Things like this were pretty rare, and at the same time, not that much.
He rather marveled that Irene Holton must be both immensely lucky and unlucky at the same time. Being able to buy Heirloom at the Antique Auction was something that he had heard for the first time, though he had heard that some people managed to buy Relic from such things.
At the same time, she was unlucky with the Heirloom she picked, which was either an Evil Heirloom or one with special usage conditions, so it was also possible that his younger sister wasn't able to properly control it.
Even such things were pretty common.
"Well... theoretically it should be solvable... even if not, I can use Fūinjutsu to completely seal the Heirloom. Though even if such a thing is done, it's not really the most ideal solution because the Heirloom would still be connected with her, and there is a possibility that the Fūinjutsu Seals could be broken by the Heirloom in the near future."
Yakou presented the option straightforwardly, not hiding anything. There were not many other ways to solve her problem, though he omitted the existence of the Crow because that was a secret known only to him and perhaps partially to Dairenji Shidou, who gave him the Heirloom.
After the initial analysis, he planned to use the Crow's Predation on Irene Holton's Heirloom to suppress the power of the Heirloom as much as possible for as long as possible and let the girl's power rise.
The common root of all problems in cases like this was usually that the Host's power was not sufficient to bear the power of the Heirloom. Yakou has already seen a good number of cases like this, where a person used the Relic and almost got killed by it because their own power was insufficient.
When it came to the Heirlooms, it was even more pronounced.
Not many people knew that Heirlooms had rather strict requirements for their Users... especially in terms of Physique, Mana Capacity, Mental Strength, and sometimes even a powerful Soul.
Otherwise, the effects were...
