Chapter 2429 - Ch: 7 Part 2

-Alt PoV-

Staring at Harry snogging with Ginny with an open mouth I turn to my left to see Susan with tears in her eyes as her lips tremble. Reaching out to touch her shoulder I get stopped by Ernie.

"Can you bloody believe this Susan? First Harry is with Pansy. A snake. Then he steals Hermione from his friend. Always has Luna hanging around. Word has it he is shacking up with Lavender. And, if what the word around school is. Katie just joined his harem. And now he is kissing Ginny. Poor Ron. First his crush and now his sister. Can you believe that Playboy? Can't even stick with one girl. Now he has so many vying for his affection. It's a wonder how any one girl would get time." I blink not seeing every point Susan is wincing. Glaring at Ernie I go to smack him. "But get this. I heard that Harry isn't looking for anyone else. It's too much even for him. It's such a shame. Too bad that last spot got taken by that Gryffindor. Oh well." I hear a glass breaking as I turn to see Susan running out of the room, her glass forgotten on the floor. Whirling around to Ernie I glare at him as he stares after Susan with a grin. 

Before I can Even start berating him I get pulled by Megan who shoves a glass in my hands before everyone cheers watching as Harry Falls to the ground passed out. Ginny has a look of pure embarrassment on her face before she runs from the room in tears. I see Ron jump on top of Harry and start pummeling him with a rage face. Everybody starts screaming now as I look around for Ernie but don't see him. 

'Fuck!!!! I need to get to Susie. This is all too fucking weird. This seems planned.' I hear a scream of rage as Pansy suddenly tackles Ron off of Harry as her eyes are alight with Violet flames as she claws at Ron.

' Dw i'n mynd i ladd chi!!! Rydych wan ofod truenus o ddyn. Mae Harry 10 gwaith y dyn yr ydych chi ac y bydd byth. Byddaf yn eich bwydo i byrth uffern !!! Fi yw'r Arglwyddes Ddu yn y dyfodol a byddaf yn dechrau bwydo Gwaed gyda chi.!!!' 1

 'Oh merlin. Remind myself never to get on her bad side. Merlin balls. McGonagall is here.'

-Regular PoV-

"What is the meaning of this!" McGonagall storms in a fury. Everyone stops besides Hermione and Katie holding onto a furious Pansy with Blood running out of her eyes. "Miss Granger, Miss Bell get Miss Parkinson to the infirmary. Now!" She barks out. Hermione nods before dragging Pansy away towards the portrait entrance. Pansy isn't even paying attention right now she is spewing curses at Ron in a weird language. 

Ron is currently on the floor moaning in pain holding his bloody face. "Mister Finnigan, escort Mister Weasley to Madam Pomfrey. Preferably Away from the ladies."

"Yes Ma'am" he replies and goes to pick up Ron.

McGonagall finally notices me on the floor, Passed out with a busted lip and a black eye. "What in merlin happened!! Weasley!!! Explain! Now!" She barks. Fred immediately jumps to attention as George along with the other team members go to me to see what's going on. Unnoticed by everyone, a Hufflepuff boy grabs the bottle and pockets it. 

While Fred Is telling what he knows. Luna walks over to where I am at before she touches my cheek with a frown. "Take him to the Infirmary. Pansy needs him to calm down. Forge. Send an Owl to your mother. Ron is Forbidden from being anywhere near my Harry. Otherwise Pansy will kill him. Angelina Go get Malfoy from the Slytherin Common Room. The password is Superiority. You are the only one here who would not get hexed. Alicia gets Percy. And have him summon the heads of houses." Luna states all the while her eyes staring at the wall. "Katie. Take him to the infirmary."

They look at her curiously before nodding as Angelina runs out of the common room. 

-Slytherin Common Room-

-30 minutes before-

Draco is sitting on a couch nursing his broken arm and broken leg. Managing to get out of the hospital wing by distracting Madam Pomfrey. Cassius is sitting next to him with amusement on his face watching Marcus rage and tear up his playback. "Merlin's saggy ball sack!!! How the hell did Potter catch that snitch!!! And what the hell was up with Bell. She was a bloody menace. Malfoy!! You did good. That takes serious balls to perform a 'leap of faith'. I'm proud of you." Draco smiles a bit before a fellow third year sits across from them.

"Malfoy my friend. That was pretty badass." Sebastian says with a grin. Cassius raises An eyebrow at this. "Ah. Pardon me milord. Sebastian Sallow. Purveyor Of dark arts and rituals. At your service." Sebastian says with a bow. Marcus stops ranting for a bit before shrugging his shoulders and going back to his playback. Cassius steepled his fingers and leaned back on the couch.

"Sallow. I've not heard of that family name before."

"Ah. That would be because I am an orphan. I think." He says as he cups his chin. "We do have an 'uncle', well. He takes care of us. We are actually not that far from here. A little hamlet Called Feldcroft. Anyways. Just me and my twin sister. Anywho. Draco my friend. I found an old Grimoire, but I can't read it. The words are moving. I know. It was weird for me as well. But they are moving like snakes. I'm thinking. It's 'Parselscript' but I could use a second opinion."

Draco blinks before sitting up. "Sebastian… do you realize if what you said is true. That grimoire is worth a fortune. Even if I took all the gold in my vault it wouldn't be enough To buy half of it." Cassius nods.

"It's true. Show us the book." He orders. Sebastian looks around before nodding and pulls out a medium sized book. And hands it over to Cassius since Draco only has an arm. Cassius takes the book before staring at it. His eyes widened. "Farley! To me!" He calls out. The common room stops talking as they all look to their king. Marcus stands up.

"You lot. Clear out. Get to the Great Hall for dinner. Now!" He barks out. The students jump to their feet. Many go to the Dorms to grab those there as Gemma walks up.

"Yes Cassius?" She sees the grimoire as her eyes widen. She flips out her wand and starts an intricate pattern As spells after Spells surround them. Marcus stands with his arms crossed as he makes sure there are no students. 

After the last student leaves he turns. "We are alone Cassius." 

"What is it?" Sebastian asks.

Cassius places the book down on the table As he leans back and rubs his temple. "You. I don't know if you have the devil's luck. Or are cursed. This is the grimoire of Salazar Slytherin."

Silence as Draco's eyes widen and his jaw drops. "Are… Are you sure about this?"

Cassius nods as he steeples his fingers. "What Isn't known to many is that my family were retainers of Salazar. Not necessarily vassals. We weren't of noble birth. Age took care of that obviously. But our family took pride in that we protected Salazar's line. If you know where to look you can spot Salazar's mark. This Grimoire has it. But I don't know if it is his Family Grimoire or just a random journal he compiled notes in. He was always a researcher. Loved to study. We need someone who can speak Parseltongue."

Cassius stops as he turns to look at Draco. "Can he be trusted?"

Draco nods. "Yes. He wouldn't do something unless It benefits him. And fortunately. I am the closest thing he has to helping him."

Sebastian Scoffs. "You could just ask me ya know. Anyways. I wouldn't be alive if I crossed you. I'm good with a wand. But not that good. Draco is my only way to save my sister. I would not cross him." Cassius stares at Sebastion who doesn't look away. Marcus grins at that. Gemma is busy looking at her nails.

"I miss Pansy. She's the only one besides Greengrass that can get the colors just right." Her comment breaks the tension as Cassius sighs. 

"Can you not break my intimidation stare? How are the younger students supposed to fear me if you say stuff like that." Gemma just smirks to herself. Sebastian gulps.

"Wait. What?" Draco laughs.

"Don't be so tense. Cassius is a good man. I'll tell you about it later. Ever since Crabbe, Goyle and Millicent started Dating I haven't had much time to speak with a friend."

Cassius suddenly stands up with his wand out, pointed towards the entrance to the common rooms. Marcus is ready as always as Gemma looks over, not worried. Sebastian and Draco look confused. Their confusion mounts as a girl Rushes in. But what's different is the red school robes designating them as a Gryffindor.

"How did you get in? Answer or be prepared." Cassius intones softly. "Wait… Angelina? Wands down." Marxus huffs but does as he is told. Angelina looks around before spotting Draco.

"Draco!!!! It's Pansey!!! Something is wrong!!!"

Draco jumps to his feet before gasping in pain. Sebastian helps him. "Pansey!?? What do you mean? What's going on?!"

Cassius quickly motions For Gemma to hide the book and she does so. Angelina rushes up looking fearful. "I don't know. One moment she is talking with Hermione then the next she is screaming like a banshee clawing Ron's face. Draco, she is crying Black Blood. I don't know what's going on but Luna told me the way to this common. Room. And the password. And told me to find you. And Harry is unconscious."

Draco stares at her before cursing. "Fuck. Where is she? And where is Harry? She needs to see him. She will not calm down until he is near her."

"She is being taken to Madam Pomfrey."

"Should have stayed there. Bloody hell."

"Harry is being escorted to Madam Pomfrey as well. We don't know what happened. But he passed out all of a sudden." Draco cups his chin.

"Well let's go then. I'll probably get an ear full from Madam Pomfrey from leaving but this is More important."

Cassius goes to say Something before he stops and pulls out an amulet that is glowing faintly in pulses. "I'm being summoned by the Council. Gemma. Go with Draco. Marcus with me. Sebastian. We will continue this discussion later." Before he turns on his heels And strides away with Marcus at his side. 

"Can You give us a hand." Gemma says to Angelina who nods and they help Draco to the Infirmary.

-Infirmary-

Slowly coming to I see a blurry room. Blinking, I groan at the pain in my head and face. The world is coming back into focus. I see that I am in the Hospital wing. Hearing a huge commotion to my left I slowly sit up and rub my jaw as I wince touching my lip. seeing A mirror on the nightstand I pick it up and look at myself. 

'What the shit. Why do I have a black eye and a busted lip? Think. I remember being handed a glass of firewhiskey? I think? After that it is so fuzzy. I remember kissing someone. Red hair. Susan?" The curtain is pulled away revealing Madam Pomfrey. She gasps seeing me sitting up.

"Mister Potter. How are you feeling? Any pain?" She starts waving her wand around me as I shake my head.

"Other than my lip and eye. No. My head is killing me. It's like. I don't know how to say this but like my head is on fire."

She nods before closing the curtain. "I will be frank. You were poisoned. Nothing life threatening but it was highly toxic. It's a miracle you are even awake so soon. I believe it has to do with the Basilisk venom in your veins."

I blink as I facepalm. "I totally forgot about that. So the Basilisk Venom neutralized this poison?"

She nods. "I haven't been able to figure out what type of poison was in you. By the time you arrived the Basilisk venom took care of it. If you can find the bottle or glass that held it. I can identify it with Professor Snape's help. But your body has no traces of it. I'm sorry."

I wave her off. "It's okay Madam. I just don't remember what happened afterwards. Maybe if I can talk with Professor Snape about The effects. He may have an idea. But is everyone okay? No one else was poisoned? And why do I feel like I received A beating."

Madam Pomfrey goes to say Something but the curtain is ripped open as I stare at a crazed Pansy. She immediately latches herself in my lap as I feel her magic is roaring out of control. 

"Pansy?! Love!?!? What's wrong?" She is shaking as she is mumbling. Black tears are falling from her eyes as Hermione is there.

"Harry!?! You are awake!?. Thank Merlin. Pansy Is inconsolable. I don't know what is happening."

Madam Pomfrey is standing there looking sad. "I'm afraid I don't know what is affecting her. I informed the Headmaster to contact her parents."

The door opens up and Draco limps in with Angelina and Gemma. Draco immediately limps towards me as Madam Pomfrey starts laying into him about escaping.

"I promise to not do it again. I must speak with Potter and Pansy. Alone." Madam Pomfrey just huffs But nods. Shooing Hermione away before closing the curtain. 

I look at him. "So. Finally gonna explain What curse Pansy is under?"

Draco pulls up a chair and sits down with a sigh. It's not so much a curse. As…" he rubs his temples. " How to put it. Her magic is pure." I blink before looking down at Pansy who is still twitching. "She was born this way. It is weird. The Parkinsons have never had this happen to them before. Having access to 'pure magic' isn't unheard of. But it is very rare. I have asked my mother about it and she isn't knowledgeable about it. She does know of some books. But she cannot access them as she is no longer a 'Black'. So to speak. Apparently the Black's were famous practitioners of 'Pure magic'. 

Nodding my head at this I calmly stroke Pansys head as she shudders before slowly her twitch stop. Raising An eyebrow I look to Draco who shrugs his good shoulder. I continue to rub Pansys head as her twitches slow to a stop before her eyes close and she stills before passing out. Getting up I lay her on the bed and cover her with the blanket. I go to wipe the black tears but the cloth doesn't do anything. Frowning I touch it with a finger before gasping in shock as my vision darkens. 

-Station-

Opening my eyes I look around at the darkness as I look at my body. 

' Why can I see myself? But everything is so dark?'

Taking a step I feel a platform underneath me as light shines bright as I cover my eyes Slightly watching as light spreads from where I stepped showing a stained glass 'Station'. Looking at it I notice multiple cracks as an image of Pansy is shown. Beautiful as can be with her arms crossed and her eyes closed. Wearing a black wedding dress showing off her pale skin. What's different from Ginnys is that there are chains wrapped around her arms and body. Looking around I notice symbols. Some I recognize. But most I don't. I slowly draw them in my mind to review later as I go to the one directly above her head and Crouch down. A circle with three vertical Lines. The middle one is the largest as I cup my chin.

"The symbol for ' Mania'. Does this mean that Pansy has a mental illness? No. That's not it. This seems similar to the 'Black Madness' but Bella said that it was specific to their family. Maybe Pansy is a long lost descendent. It could be possible. I'll have to ask Bella."

I feel a thrum beneath me as the ' Station' Trembles and shakes. The cracks start to glow slightly with a Black/Purple light. Chains suddenly shoot out from the cracks as they wave about in the air before connecting together and glowing before lowering onto the floor patching up the cracks in a horrid mess. Frowning At this terrible patchwork I curse at not being able to help. Seeing as the shaking has stopped I close my eyes and will myself back to my body.

-Infirmary-

Opening my eyes I see that I am in a chair next to Draco who is talking with an older witch with Brown hair. Rubbing my face I lay my head back as I frown. Draco notices that I am awake. "Mrs. Parkinson, this is Harry Potter. Harry. This is Mrs. Parkinson. Pansys mother."

Standing up I come closer as she raises her arm and I take her hand and kiss her knuckles. I look up into her brown eyes with a smile. I notice something as I look between her and Pansy. Before I can say anything she speaks up. "So this is the Boy my daughter is in love with. He doesn't seem like much, Draco. Are you sure she will be in fine hands?" My eye twitch. Draco bites his lip.

"Yes Regina. He may look like a street rat." My other eye twitched. "And he doesn't look like nobility" he looks away from my face. "But I can assure you. He has what it takes."

Regina looks me up and down before sighing. "She seems happy I suppose. I was hoping for this to be a phase. Her rebellious years. I had such a nice line of suitors lined up for her to meet."

I stop twitching as I glare at her. "Are you the reason she was with that scum!?" Draco blinks as Regina looks effrontery.

"Young man. How dare you speak to me that way." She glares at me. I ignore her.

"She was assaulted and almost raped! If I wasn't there. She… she…" growling I feel a soft hand take mine as I snap out of it and turn to see Pansy looking up at me with a soft smile. Immediately kneeling down I take her hand in mine.

"Beloved… Don't be so harsh… She. She didn't know. Who he… truly was… he fooled us all…" she whispers out. I kiss her hand.

"Luv. How are you feeling? And I am sorry. Just remembering what you went through. Infuriates me. He touched you luv. You are mine and I am yours." Pansy smiles softly and squeezes my hand. Turning her head to look at her mother.

"Mama, don't be so hard on him. He is 10 times any of the men you have scouted. There is no one else for me. He is my one and only." She says as Regina sighs.

"Oh my flower. I just want what's best for you. And if that means being with the 'Hero' of the Wizarding world. So be it. I will talk to your father." Pansy smiles. Regina turns to face me. "You will come to the manor over the summer to speak with us. Before we settle on the betrothal. I will Owl you with a date. Dress appropriately." She eyes my casual clothes and sniffs before kissing Pansy on the forehead and walking out. Pansy turns her head to look at me. I notice her eyes are now different. Her right eye is a pale violet. And her left is a deep Amethyst. Cupping her cheek.

"Are you okay luv? How are you feeling."

Pansy smiles and kisses my palm. "Beloved. With you here safe. And awake. I am better. I, I don't remember much. All I saw was that weasel on top of you hurting you. I just… I don't know." She shivers. Draco sits down on the other side of Pansy and takes her other hand. She turns to him and smiles. "Draco. My friend." Smiling, he squeezes her hand.

"It's alright, Pans. Get some rest." She turns to me with a vulnerable look.

"Will you stay?" I smile.

"Of course. Madam Pomfrey will have to force me out." She smiles softly before her eyes close with exhaustion. Before she falls into a restful sleep. Kissing her hand I let go and make sure she is comfortable before pacing.

"What was that Harry? You touched her magic and suddenly you froze up?" Draco asks me.

"Daphne never told you huh. Smart of her. Draco. You may not believe me but. I think I can enter someone's soul. Or something similar. You know of the Occlumency level of 'Mind Palaces' think of it like that but for the soul. I call them ' Stations' . It shows a person's true personality. I think. I'm not entirely sure. This is all new to me. But I read some of my family's grimoires. We have knowledge of soul magic." 

'Jesus. Another Small lie. I can't exactly explain what it is I'm seeing. Thank God just saying family magic gets everyone to agree. How do I exactly explain that I am not from this world and I have knowledge of other worlds. Cause honestly if this is real. Then there must be others just like this. Fuck this is a whole other conversation.' 

"Can you really see into a person's soul?" Draco whispers out. His thoughts racing a mile a second I can see.

"I believe that is what it is, yes. Why?"

Draco leans back with a wince. "There is a student. A friend. Who is in need of assistance. His twin sister is cursed. And after hearing about it. I believe it is a soul curse. I had no information and was going to research more this summer. But if what you say is true. Maybe you can help him. It won't be for free of course. He has a knack for finding things of... Let's say. Dubious nature."

Raising an eyebrow I sat down across from him. "hmm. I am not against helping someone. You know that. Hermione says it's my 'saving people thing' whatever that means. But I am not that masterful. I can see what's wrong. But to fix it. I don't exactly know how." Draco waves me off.

"Just finding out what is wrong will be a huge boon to him. All he wants is to save her. I have high hopes for him actually. To go beyond his station in life. But this is preventing him from realizing his potential." Nodding along.

"I'll make time this summer to meet with him and his sister. Now. I better go get this over with now." Draco chuckles as I pull the curtain aside and get tackled by a brown haired missile. 

-Council Room-

-5th Floor-

Cassius and Marcus enter the room to find that Cedric And Roger are sitting down in Their respective House Chairs. The room is simple in design. Each wall pertains to the Houses of the school. With the Hufflepuff wall having a fireplace. Cedric is sitting on a yellow colored leather chair with steel black trim, the Crest of Helga on its top as he is leaning his chin on his palm. Behind him stood a Fifth year student named Adelaide Oakes if his memory serves him. She is the 2nd ranked in her year. Just behind the man standing behind Roger actually. 

Roger is sprawled out in his chair. A blue one with bronze trim similar to the others with Rowena's Crest on its back. Behind him is a fifth year student named Amit Thakkar. First in his year with an inclination of Astronomy. Cedric smiles and waves in greeting as Roger grunts. Cassius sits in the emerald chair with silver trim with Salazar's Crest on the back.

Marcus takes up space behind him with his arms clasped behind his back at attention. Marcus winks at Adelaide who sniffs disdainfully And turns her nose upwards away from him. But if you look you can see a small hint of pink on her cheeks. "I received a summon from Gryffindor. But I received word that there was an incident. Harry Potter is in the Hospital Wing."

Cedric nods. "I heard the same. I knew that some of my Puffs went to the party they held. Before I received the summons some younger years barged in our common room scared. I couldn't get most of what they said. But something about Harry causing a scene before suddenly passing out."

"That is correct." A whimsical melodious voice states from the entrance Of the room. Everyone turns to see Luna standing there with her hands clasped in front of her with a far off look on her face. Percy Weasly is standing behind her in a nice suit as he escorts Luna to the Gryffindor chair. A scarlet leather with Gold trim and Godric's Crest on its back as Luna has to hop a little to sit down. Her bare feet swing slightly. Percy inclines his head to her and to the others before standing behind her. Roger frowns.

"Why are you here Lovegood? This is a meeting for the Council. You have no place being here." Cedric frowns.

"That is a bit harsh. You were just told that Harry is unavailable. Obviously it was not him to make the summons." Luna is staring off looking around the room.

"Let her speak Davies." Cassius says as he steepled his fingers. "I wish to know what happened. Especially when one of my own is involved. Please continue Miss Lovegood." Cedric sits up straighter as he focuses on Luna.

"Harry was Poisoned. By who. I do not know. Why? I also do not know. The incident involved Harry, Ron, Ginny, Pansy and the Hufflepuff who handed Harry the bottle containing the poison." Cedric reels back at this.

"What… you mean to say it was one of my Puffs?" He looks horrified. Cassius frowns. Roger looks bored.

"The thing is. What was the reason behind this?" Luna says calmly. She turns her head to Perxy who looks at her and nods before walking towards the Slytherin side where the Tea is kept and begins Making a pot. Luna turns her head to Cedric who has his head in his hands. "This entire year. The Hufflepuffs have been antagonists against Harry. As the person closest to him. I can say with certainty that Harry has done nothing To gain their ire."

 Cedric frowns As he rubs his temples. It goes quiet for a few moments. The only noise is Percy who is making tea. Cedric sighs. "I will speak to my Puffs. I know it isn't the older years. It may be the younger ones. This is serious. If there was Intent to do harm. They will be dealt with. You have my word." Luna nods as Percy hands her a cup of tea as he offers it to the others. Cassius takes it with a nod as he drinks slowly. Roger and Cedric decline. 

"I will inform Harry of what transpired here. Other than this incident. I believe the teachers will not be of much help. They never are when Harry is concerned. So don't bother dealing with them." Luna says nonchalantly. Cassius blinks in surprise.

"What do you mean?" Cassius asks. Luna ignores him as she stares at the wall. Setting the cup down she wiggles Out of the chair and starts humming to herself and skips away. Percy looks after her before waving his wand and the tea cups go back. He bows.

"Please inform me of what you find Mr. Diggory. I will relay It to Potter." He turns on his heels And follows after the whimsical girl. Roger snorts, before standing up.

"Loony Lovegood everyone. Well this was a waste of time. Don't summon the council unless it's important."

Cedric slams a hand on the arm rest. "Not important! A student was poisoned for Merlin's sake. How is that not important?" Roger shrugs.

"Doesn't have to do with my house so I don't care. I have exams to study for. Come Amit." He walks out as Amit bows his head to the others before following. Cedric groans and leans back rubbing his eyes. Cassius rests his head on his fist.

"Roger is a disgrace to his house. But unfortunately there is no one with the requirements to lead. Do not take his words to heart Cedric." Cedric nods slowly.

"I can't believe it was a Hufflepuff to be the one to do it. I just. I need time to think." Standing up he waves off Adelaide who goes to walk with him. He chuckles. "No need. I'm gonna take a walk. Why don't you. Clean up." He waves to Cassius before leaving. Cassius stands up and buttons his suit.

"Don't be too long now Marcus. And clean up after yourselves." Before walking out. Marcus grins as Adelaide blushes before they embrace passionately. Cassius is walking down the corridor when he sees Young Greengrass along with two other ladies he never saw before.

"Young Astoria. What are you doing out here? Dinner is soon, you know." Astoria jumps a bit startled as she whirls about and looks up at him.

"Oh Lord Warrington. Forgive me for not noticing you. I was just talking with some new friends of mine. Please. This is Poppy Sweeting. From Hufflepuff. And this is Zenobie Noke from Ravenclaw. Girls, this is Lord Cassius Warrington. Head of Slytherin Council." The girls give a nervous curtsey as Cassius bows.

"A pleasure to meet you ladies. Do take care of our young snake will you?" He says with a soft smile. Astoria blushes.

"You can't just say that Cassius!" She whines. Chuckling he ruffles her hair.

"Can't a Godfather tease his God daughter?" She whines more and pouts as the other girls widen their eyes.

"You are her Godfather? How? You are so young!?" Poppy asks. Before blushing. "I'm sorry."

"It is okay young Hufflepuff. My father was her original Godfather. But with his passing and when I took up Lordship. Magic deemed me worthy to be her Godfather." Cassius says with a soft smile. Astoria crosses her arms and pouts. Zenobie giggles.

Poppy Pulls Astoria to the side and whispers in her ear. Blushing Beet red Astoria stammers and flails her arms around. Curious Cassius smiles. "Something to tell me?"

Poppy giggles and nudges Astoria. Who mumbles Something before looking down and scuffing The ground with her shoe. "harryclaimedmeashis"

She mumbles out. Blinking in confusion Cassius rubs his ear. "Sorry. Can you repeat that?"

Astoria blushes. "Harry said I was his when Graham hit me." Cassius blinks before leaning against the wall.

"My little girl has a crush." He states wiping a stray tear from his face. Blushing furiously, Astoria starts hitting his chest with her fists. He starts laughing. "I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But if what you say is true. Then why hasn't Harry talked with your parents? I have not received word of a betrothal." He says seriously. Astoria pants As she stops hitting him. 

"I… Ummm. I don't think he knew what he said. He was angry… and I mean. Really angry. When he saw my face." She says fidgeting. Cassius frowns remembering that incident. 

"Thank Merlin that Montague is expelled from Hogwarts. I don't know how he managed to stay with that Hogsmeade fiasco." Astoria Blushes. Cassius looks down at her with a raised eyebrow. "And what do you think of this? Him courting you? He is courting Parkinson. And has 2 concubines already. Are you." Astoria nods her head fast. 

"He has helped me so much already. And Aurora is a great companion. Cassius. Harry gets me." She stares up at him with determination. Cassius stares back into her storm gray eyes.

"Then you must confront him, little one. If he is just playing around with you. Well… It won't be pretty. But I told you. Only one who can beat me in a duel will be able to court you. Along with Daphne. I may not be her godfather. But I care just the same." Astoria smiles and hugs him burying Her face in his belly.

"Thank you Cassius." She murmurs. Zenobia And Poppy are whispering conspiratingly. Astoria pulls away before waving goodbye and they walk away talking quietly. Cassius frowns as he walks back to the Slytherin common room. 

"Harry Potter. Hmmm."

-End of Term-

-1 Week before Summer-

Walking through the corridors of the school, I am tired from the exams. ' Hermione is a slave driver about studying.' Thinking back on the past month after my poisoning incident. ' Can't believe there were no witnesses. Sure there were a lot of students. But still nothing? Why would someone even want to poison me in the first place? No one knows of the Basilisk venom in my blood besides Hermione. And Pansy once she demanded to know how I was alive. Goodness the snuggles I had to give her to stop her crying. I think she was milking it after the first 10 minutes. Can never tell with her. Mcgonagal tried to help. But with no witnesses. And no one came up. Her hands are tied.'

Walking outside I see Astoria and her friends sitting on a bench talking. Astoria sees me and blushes bright before running away. Her friends giggle and wave at me before following her. Shaking my head at that latest development I walk down the courtyard towards the ramparts overlooking the great lake. ' She has been running from me for a while now. I wonder if I did something. She isn't upset by me. More like embarrassed. Oh well. It's good to see she has friends. Speaking of embarrassment. Ginny. She refuses to speak with me. After finding out that I kissed her and not Susan.'

-Flashback-

Sitting in the common room, Ginny is sitting across from me on a chair as she doesn't look at me. "Ginny. I am so sorry for what happened. I didn't know. I don't know what came over me. Other than the poison. Can you ever forgive me?" Ginny looks down before speaking softly.

"Do you regret it?" I can hear the vulnerability in her tone. I shake my head.

"No. Never. I just. What I mean to say is… I wish it were under different circumstances. I like you Ginny. Trust me when I say that. You are a fierce woman. Honest And loyal. Hell. We have a bond like no one else has. But I wanted to do it properly. You know? I know you don't want to be Lady Potter. You have dreams and goals. And I want to help you. But I wanted to go at your own pace. I'm sorry I forced it."

Ginny breathes in heavily before looking up with tears in her eyes. "Harry. I love you. I have ever since I was little. The books don't do you justice. But. That was my first kiss. And it was. In front of so many people. I. I was so embarrassed. I love you still. But I just. I need some time." I nod with a heavy heart. She gets up and leans in to kiss my cheek. Before she rushes to her dorm room sniffling. I stare down with a fierce glare. 

' I swear whoever did this will pay.' As I clench the armrest and the wood splinters. 

-Flashback end-

Feeling a familiar magic come up and hearing a skip and a small weight settles against my back as Silver blonde hair covers my face. Smiling, I reach around and poke her side causing Luna to giggle. "Hello Harry. I just finished my herbology exam." She slides around me and settles Herself in my lap and snuggles close. Her bare feet kick playfully as I have long since given up on making her wear shoes. Her reasoning is she loves the feel of the world along her toes. "No more exams Harry. I'm free!!!" She starts Giggling madly, kicking her arms and legs about. 

"Until next year." Feeling a finger against my lips.

"Shhh… shhh. We don't speak of that now." She says not looking at me. Chuckling, I shake my head.

"Very well, Little Moon. Are you traveling at all this summer with your mother? I would like to meet her. To talk about this." I say as I stroke her neck gently as she shudders as the air shimmers and a Black leather collar appears around her neck with a triangle With a circle and a line inside pendant dangles. Luna smiles to herself touching the collar. 

"Yes. Mummy was very pleased To know I was claimed. I write about you a lot. She will have the concubine contract written up for your approval. I don't really care what the contract says Harry. I just want to be with you." Chuckling, I kiss the top of her head as she sighs in happiness, still fingering the pendant.

"I know. But you were the one to tell me that it is necessary. So no one can take you from me. I don't want that. And you wouldn't want that either. Right?" She shakes her head.

"No Harry." Shaking her head she bites my arm. Nibbling on it I pet her hair absentmindedly.

"What am I to do with what happened to me Luna? I want to rip into the person who made Ginny cry. They used me. I was not in control of myself. What if it was a random student?" 

"In time the culprit will be out in the open. Patience. Only then will you have your justice." She says after letting go of my arm. Staring off into the distance she frowns.

"You don't know who it is either do you Little Moon." Luna shakes her head. 

"No. And it is really bugging me. The Nargles are being mean." she swats at the air before stopping and looking up at me. "Harry. Run in the forest tonight. She will be returning." I look at her and nod.

' It has been a while since Bella left. She said she wanted to make sure our new home would be livable. I can't believe that I'm actually gonna live at Grimmauld Place. I can't wait to see Sirius's room.' Getting pulled from my thoughts I see Katie walking up with a blush on her face as she sits next to me and leans against my Shoulder. Luma giggles before kissing my cheek.

~"Have fun"~ before she skips away. Blinking after her I shrug as I lean my head on Katie's.

"Harry. Umm. Can. Can we umm…" chuckling I take her hand and stand up and pull her along behind me. Blushing, she follows. 

"Of course. Who would have thought though. Our darling of the Quidditch team. A nymphomaniac." Katie blushes and swats my arm.

"O-only for you Harry. I can't help it." Laughing I open the door for her to enter as I spot Astoria and her friends talking with Hagrid at his hut. Turning to follow Katie I missed when Hagrid led them into the forest. 

-Dinner-

After an enjoyable afternoon with Katie I am sitting With Pansy and Hermione while we talk and eat. Luna is off with Ginny and Lavender kidnapped Katie some time after we were done and they are too far away from where I am sitting. Pansy is grumbling while poking her food. I take her hand under the table and squeeze it reassuringly. She looks up at me before sighing and resting her head on my shoulder grumbling about pureblood and ladies and betrothal and other such things. Chuckling, I finish my meal and look at Hermione who is reading some book about some arithmancy or something. It went over my head when she talked about it. 

After dinner I am walking with Pansy to her common room. After she kisses my cheek goodnight she demands to spend time tomorrow and I agree with a laugh. With a huff she smiles and walks inside. Walking back I see Professor Lupin. He waves me over. 

"Good Evening Professor." 

"Good Evening Harry. I was wondering if you had Some time to talk?"

"Of course." 

Smiling we walk along the corridors as He regales some stories of his School days with James and Sirius. Hanging onto his words as I know I won't be able to speak with him. The sun Starts to set with an orange glow. 

"HARRY!!" 

I turn At my name being called and I see a very distressed Daphne running towards me. Her hair is all over the place and she looks worried. Frowning, I walk to her.

"Daphne? What's Wrong?"

She reaches me and grabs my shirt. "It's Astoria!! She's not in the Common Room! She wasn't at Dinner and she hasn't been seen for some time now. I went to the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaw. Poppy and Zenobia are both gone as well. No one has seen them. I don't know what to do. She's so young. What if they were taken? What if someone kidnapped them." I blink as I place my hands on her shoulders.

"I saw them talking with Hagrid earlier in the day. You know how Poppy is with Magical Beasts. And Astoria has interests as well. I'll Walk you there. It is a bit weird they weren't at Dinner. Now that I remember Hagrid wasn't there either. Let's go. Sorry Professor. Something came up." Lupin nods.

"That's alright. I'll go with you two. This may be bigger than you think. Or it could be a simple misunderstanding." Daphne is already halfway down the corridor.

"Let's go Potter!!" I ran after her with Lupin. Reaching Hagrid's hut I stop Daphne from banging on the door as Lupin goes To knock but stops as he leans his head against the door. 

"They are not in there." I can feel Daphne starting to shake as her eyes are frantically moving about. I turn her and force her to look at me.

"Daphne. It will be alright. Trust me when I say that Hagrid would defend them till his dying breath. She will be safe with him." Her breathing slowly calms down as she closes her eyes and breathes in deeply. I can see Lupin is sniffing the air. Somewhat Discreetly as he looks towards the forest. 

"I believe he took them in the forest. I remember Poppy asking me about the creatures and was very interested in learning Hagrid has a herd of Hippogriffs. I know where it's at. Come along you two. Stick close to me and do not for any reason leave my sight." I nod and look up to the growing darkness. Daphne is still calming down as I walk up next to him.

"It's a full moon tonight. Will You be okay Moony?" He smiles and shows me a vial in his pocket.

"Yes. I have the potion here. It can not be taken before the transformation. Only during. The only downside of it. But I have been doing this for years. I promise it will be okay." Nodding, I go and see Daphne is fine now. Worried. But fine. I hold out my hand and she looks at it then me before taking it.

"This doesn't mean I want to be yours, Potter. I am only doing this for Astoria." Chuckling, I shake my head.

"I know. But to be honest. I am stronger than you. And Astoria would hate me if I let anything happen to you. By the way, Do you know what's going on with her? I haven't been able to speak with her lately. She always runs away from me. I don't think I've done anything. But she turns red and runs."

Daphne looks at me and narrows her eyes. "You didn't do anything." She turns away following Lupin muttering under her breath. "Bloody idiot. I can't believe she has a crush on him. Bloody Golden Gryffindor." I couldn't hear her but Lupin does as he sniffles a laugh as a cough.

-Forbidden Forest-

Lupin leads us through the forest before we come to a clearing. One I recognize is where We are learning about Hippogriffs. We see the girls standing by Hagrid who is kneeling on the ground in front of a wounded Hippogriff.

"ASTORIA!!!" Daphne sprints towards her who turns around.

"Daphne?" Before being swept into a hug. 

Lupin hurries towards Hagrid as Poppy and Zenobie walk up to me.

"We were with Hagrid. We wanted to see the Hippogriffs and he let us come with. But then as you can see. There is a very badly injured one. Hagrid is doing what he can. But. I don't think it will live. And we couldn't leave because it was too dangerous. Are we in trouble?" Zenobia asks. I Crouch down and place a hand on their shoulders. They are shivering a little as they look down.

"No. You are not in trouble. We were just worried for you. Hagrid did the right thing in making you stay. This place is very dangerous. Especially for first years. when We get back I will be taking you to Madam Pomfrey so she can give you some potions to help you. You all have been out here for a long time. And it is cold. I'll have food brought to you as well." 

They both look up at me before nodding and I bring them with me to where Daphne is mothering Astoria who is trying to push her away.

"Gerroff! I'm fine Daphne. Just a bit hungry. But we couldn't leave." 

"Shush you. I will mother you as much as I want. I was worried sick." Chuckling Astoria freezes as she looks at me and blushes before hiding behind Daphne.

"What is he doing here!!! I'm not presentable!!!" She hisses to Daphne. Daphne smirks before whispering back.

"This is what you get for scaring me half to death." Before turning to me. "Potter, go find out how much longer we have to stay here." I roll my eyes and do an exaggerated bow.

"Yes your majesty. As you command your majesty.." I look up at her as she stares at me with amusement.

"Good boy." Ignoring how that made my heart skip a beat I turn and Walk away towards Hagrid who is sniffling As he holds the dead Hippogriff's head in his lap. Lupin has a hand on his shoulder in sympathy.

"I'm sorry, Hagrid. You did the best you could. She is at peace now." Lupin says as Hagrid nods. 

"I'm sorry this Happened Hagrid. What was the cause?"

Hagrid shakes his head. "I Don know. The 3 tykes wished to see the griffin and I figurd That it woudnt be so bad. Wen we came cross her like this. I don no what coulda caused this. They travel in herds." Lupin goes To examine the wounds. Hagrid stands up as I take my wand out and clean his clothes. "thanks harri."

Lupin touches the blood and brings it to his nose and sniffs. His eyes widen as he jumps to his feet and his wand is out. He looks around sniffing the air. "Hagrid. Take the children to the castle. Immediately!!!" sensing his distress I start letting my magic flow outwards to sense what is wrong. Daphne is walking up with the girls suddenly nervous.

"Professor? Is everything okay?" Hagrid has his crossbow out as his eyes are narrowed looking around. 

"Something is out here. Remus. What is it? It doesn't feel. Natural." Daphne pulls out her wand as do the other girls. They look frightened as Astoria grips Daphne fearfully.

"Sister? What's going on?" I snap my head to the north.

"North!" Remus turns as does Hagrid, both Aiming their wand and crossbow into the darkened trees. I walk over and put myself in front of the girls. "Something is coming. Something dark."

Remus narrows his eyes. As the forest is suddenly quiet. The only thing that can be heard is the breathing of everyone. Suddenly a twig snaps. And growling. Remus waves his wand.

'Lumos'

A ball of light shoots out and bathes the forest in a glow as suddenly standing at the edge of the treeline stands a wolf. The girls scream. The wolf is big. Almost as big as a van and its yellow eyes staring at us with its bloody mouth open with large pointed teeth.

"Professor. That isn't what a wolf is supposed to look like… Is it?" Remus has a very serious face while he shakes his head.

"No. This is a wolf that has been touched by Magic. Now Animals touched by Magic are very different from Magical Creatures as we know. Magical creatures have some form of Intelligence. Animals that have been touched by magic. Unfortunately possess no intelligence whatsoever. This wolf. Is big. Bigger than a normal touched being. I fear that what we are seeing is what many researchers have dubbed. 'Alpha' They have wondered if a touched animal survives long enough. Would it evolve? Would it gain intelligence? I fear that it is correct. Hagrid. We need to get the children to safety. I don't think I can kill It. We need to get the department of Hunters."

Hagrid nods. Before slowly backing away. " you erd him kids. Slowly stay behind me and walk backwards. Do not take yer eyes off of him." The girls are nodding fearfully as Daphne is silent. I noticed her wand arm shaking. She is afraid but holding on for her sister. 

' Impressive resolve. Well… Looks like there is only one thing to do.' 

Smiling, I walk up past Hagrid who stares at me with wide eyes before standing next to Lupin who quickly looks at me out of the corner of his eyes."Harry! What the bloody hell are you doing." He hisses at me.

"What does it look like? I am going to protect them." Readying my wand the wolf snarls and slowly starts to circle me and Remus. "Hagrid. Take the girls. Put the School on lockdown. This wolf can break through the wards like wet paper. I can feel the magic. It is wild. Dark. We will be alright." Hagrid grits his teeth but knows I am right. 

Shepherding the girls away, Astoria Breaks free from Daphne. "Harry! Come with us!!" Daphne grabs her again as she struggles. I turn my head towards her and give her a smile and a thumbs up.

"I'll be alright. You need to get to safety, Astoria. I will protect you." Hagrid scoops the girls up as Astoria reaches out to me with tears in her eyes.

The wolf howls and charges as Astoria screams my name before vanishing with the others as I roll out Of the way and Remus doing the same. The wolf flies by us as the ground shakes a bit.

"Moony!! What works. What do we need to do!!"

Remus starts casting red spells at the wolf. "Wolves are inherently immune to ice. This one seems to be radiating off ice magic. This is very dangerous. Fire spells only Harry. And Force Type. The biggest recorded Touched wolf was the size of a car. This is the size of a van. It took 20 hunters to subdue the car sized Wolf. Harry. Your father is going to kill me when we die. You should have left."

I laugh as I start casting 'Confringos' and 'Ignis' " and let you die alone out here? I am my father's son Moony. But I am also my Mother's. I will not leave you to die alone. We stand together. And besides. I have much more to hear about from your school days."

Stowing my wand I stand up straight.

"Moony. What you are about to see. Please don't let Albus know. Or anyone. Marauders oath"

The wolf is shaking off the spells like nuisances. Remus looks at me.

"Where is your wand? And. Your father would be proud of you. How do you know about the. Nevermind. I Moony swear on the Mauraders I won't betray your trust. Never again." I grin as I clap My hands together and let my magic loose.

'Arms!'

'Ama!'

'Vernier!'

Magic explodes out of me as it becomes visible. The wolf steps back warily as I grin. Magic flows in a spiral about me before coalescing around my arms. Legs and torso. Standing up straight a glowing set of magical armor surrounds me. I clench my fist before pounding them together. The air crackles about.

"This is something I have been dying to test out. The ultimate of magic manipulation. Moony. What you see here is a year's worth of hard work. And my personal magic." Looking up at the sky. "Look down at me Father! Mother! I won't let you down!" I yell out. The wolf snarls and launches itself at me as I do the same. Rearing my fist back as the wolf opens its mouth to kill me dead. 

Remus is stunned as I clash with the wolf and punch its snout. Making the wolf fly back into the forest.

'Post Lux'4

An orb of light appears behind me, lighting up my sight as I leap after the wolf laughing. Remus stares off after me with a shocked expression. "Magic manipulation? What?" Before shaking out of his stupor he races after me. Tearing through the forest he follows the sounds of my laughter and the snarls of the wolf.

"Hahahahahaha!!!! You bite like a puppy!" 

"Grrr"

Breaking through a bush, Remus comes to the sight of the wolf batting me aside with its paw as I bounce off a tree and lay sprawled in front of him. 

Looking up at him. "Oh hey Moony. Finally caught up? This wolf is strong. I think it can control ice. Not well mind you. But when it charges up to pounce. Its claws Get longer and are made of ice. And its teeth are freezing."

Remus looks At the wolf who is prowling but with a slight limp. I Stand up and roll my shoulders. "I don't really know how to fight something this big. People? Easy. Giant wolves? No thank you." 

Suddenly the magic surrounding me dispersed as I fall to a knee exhausted. Remus helps me up with a worried look.

"Damn. I didn't know there was a limit if I'm in a fight. I can still Cast spells Moony. Just not use my armor. Wooo. That was a thrill." I say with a chuckle. 

' What the fuck was that. It Was like a flip was switched and I was like a battle junkie. I never fought like that before. It was like a berserker.' I think to myself with a sweat drop. 

"Harry. We will talk more later about what you just showed me. But at the moment let's try to survive. The hunters have a good track record of mobilizing quickly. But for now. We must protect the students. You are correct in saying this Wolf would tear through the wards. It is impossible to prevent animals from entering Hogwarts. The forest is unfortunately within the ward line." The wolf stops pacing As it snarls. My wand is in my hand glowing red, ready for me. I can feel it wanting to fight this great beast. I chuckle.

"I'll follow your lead, Moony. I'm adaptable." Remus nods before he starts casting spells. I marvel at his speed and power. As he runs to the right. I grin and start casting as well running to the left. 

'Confringo'

'Descendo'

Both of us are blasting the wolf with our spells. I notice it isn't doing much. I frown before looking around at the small clearing. "Moony!! Nothing is working!! Its magic resistance is way too high for the both of us!" 

Remus slides To a stop before ducking underneath a paw swipe. "I know!! Ugh. It's almost time!! I'm about to change Harry!! I need that potion otherwise I'll not be able to keep my mind!!" 

I look up at the cloudy sky. "The moon is up in the air though? Why aren't you transforming now?"

Remus dodges another paw. "It has to do with Astrology. Some moons don't become full until a certain time. It's some mumbo jumbo stuff I learned when I became this curse." I Scoff before 'Accio' ING Remus towards me by his robes when the wolf lunged. 

"It isn't a curse, Moony. It's a blessing. You may seem. Ugh." Diving out of the way from a lunge. "You may see it as a curse. But the way I see it. You are the ultimate Hunter. Woah there." Remus pulls me towards him with an 'Accio' "Your Instincts are on point. Your senses dialed up to 11. Enhanced strength. Speed. Stamina. I mean. As long as you are of sound mind. You could be on par with most Magical. Jesus!" I trip over an exposed root as the wolf slashes through my robes. Discarding the ruined robes I am now only in my buttoned up shirt. Pulling the tie loose to work with, I run towards Remus. "Magical Creatures. It's the mind set that Werewolves are Dark. They aren't. They are like all others. Sentient and Intelligent. They are mostly left to their own devices are they not? You only hear about attacks because of Fenrir and his monsters. Or a wizard being to dumb getting close to them. If you make peace with yourself Moony. You could usher in a new era of Hunters." Remus looks at me with wide eyes, my words striking right in his heart. 

-Hogwarts-

Breathing Heavily Hagrid finally reaches the doors. He lets the girls down before rushing towards the wall next before murmuring to himself.

"Now wear was it. Ah. Here it is." he rears his arm back and punches a protruding stone. Daphne and the girls suddenly feel a blast of magical power as the doors slam shut. And large metal rods Fall from the top of it with heavy thuds. The castle thrums as all around The doors slam shut and all the students and Staff feel the Castles magical energy. Mcgonagal is in her study grading exams when she feels the wards snap into place. Jumping to her feet she touches her chest where there is a badge Sewn on every robe and she pops out of place. 

"What is happening?" Zenobia looks around in awe. Suddenly a pop is heard followed by several more as the teachers suddenly appear ready for anything all with their wands out. Mcgonagal notices the girls and Hagrid who is huffing and Puffing.

"What is the meaning of this Hagrid!?!?! You know this Emergency lockdown is to be used only under dire…" Before a large howl is heard From the forest. Astoria is suddenly in front of Mcgonagal who looks down in surprise.

"Professor!!! Help him. Please!!!" Before breaking down and crying. The events finally caught up to her. Snape strides with his cloak billowing past Mcgonagal who is trying to get Astoria to talk. He stops in front of Hagrid.

"Speak. What is happening."

Daphne walks up as Hagrid is blubbering and not being coherent. "Professor. There is a wolf touched by magic in the forest. It killed a Hippogriff And Hagrid and the three girls were trying to save it. The animal is as large as a van. And Professor Lupin told Hagrid to get us to safety. Harry Potter was there and he stayed behind." 

"Potter!! That dawned fool." Mcgonagal says after handing Astoria off to Pomfrey. "Severus. A van sized wolf would tear through the normal wards. Hagrid did well. The hunters must be contacted." whirling about she looks at the staff who are looking nervous after hearing more explosions and howls. "Septima, Bathsheda, are you able to make a rune sequence to trap this beast? Time is of the essence. Fillius, Severus, with me. We must help…" a large crack is heard before they all turn towards the forest to see multiple trees falling over before a form is launched out and skips across The grounds before slamming into a large boulder. 

Astoria screams and thrashes in Pomfreys arms. "HARRY!!!" 

Mcgonagal Gasps as she sees I am slowly getting up. Severus is already running towards me, his face filled with worry. Fillius starts muttering incantations as the ground rises up creating walls of magic as the large wolf bounds out of the forest with a howl. The teachers gasp as Bathsheda and Septima are already waving their wands about figuring out a rune. 

Hagrid is tearing across the grounds. His large form clears the space very quickly as he tackles the wolf and starts grappling with it. Mcgonagal frowns and rolls Up her sleeves, taking off her glasses and her eyes glow, before her magic flares. Overpowering everyone to a large degree as she slowly raises her hands as the ground ripples before large arms shoot out before a large golem rises. 

'O èirich golem na talmhainn, èirich agus dìon am balach sin. dìon ar n-oileanaich.'5

Her voice carries out over the grounds as the golems face glows with a red hue before lumbering towards the wolf that managed to throw off Hagrid. Daphne is with Pomfrey holding back Astoria. "Where is Professor Dumbledore!!!"

Pomfrey sighs and shakes her head. "He was called to an emergency meeting of the Wizengamot. Word had already reached him when the emergency wards were put up. I need you to collect the girls and enter the school. It is too dangerous out here." Daphne agrees.

"No!!! Harry is still out there!!! Noo!! Harry!!!!" Astoria is yelling as her eyes are dilated as she is breathing very heavily and is pale. Pomfrey notices this as she starts running diagnostics.

"Miss Greengrass, you must calm down!! Your condition!! Daphne please help me calm her down. Girls Help." Poppy and Zenobia crowd around Astoria trying to calm her down. Daphne bites her lip as she glances at where I am being forced to drink potions by Snape who is by me and Fillius is in front placing shields. The Golem and Hagrid Are both holding onto the wolf.

Mcgonagal is holding her wand aloft her clothes billowing As she directs the golem. 

"We got it!! I think." Septima runs up. "I don't know if it will hold it for very Long but if my math is right. And it is. It will hold the beast." Bathsheda is already running towards the wolf as she throws her cloak away and she crosses her arms as a bright light appears and she is now Holding two large crystal steles. She starts running around the fight drawing intricate carvings into the ground. Mcgonagal nods.

"What will power it? The leylines are currently at the castle; there is no 'Wild Magic' available. Casting is taking a considerable toll on me." Septima groans and rubs her temples as she starts thinking. 

Daphne's Mind is racing. "The council! They should have enough magic to power it. I know that Cassius has a lot of power at least. I don't know about Davies or Diggory." Septima blinks and nods. 

"That could work. A 4 square formation but who would be the fourth. I'm not nearly as strong as them. I hate to admit it." Daphne looks around.

"Professor Snape? Or Professor McGonagall?"

McGonagall shakes her head. "I cannot. It is taking all I can to power this golem. This wolf is unprecedented. Albus needs to be here. Stupid bloody Wizengamot meetings." she starts cursing in Scottish. 

With Snape and I. I am coughing up some blood. Snape is currently berating me while forcing potions down my throat.

"You bloody Dunderhead. Why is it always you that is put in these situations." He scolds me as he is busy dumping potions down my throat. "Don't answer. I don't want to bloody know. 50 points from Gryffindor by the way. For being Bloody stupid. 150 points awarded for defending the school." I blink at him in shock. He looks away. "No one. Can know." I laugh before holding my side.

"I always knew you cared for us. In your own way. Professor. Remus was with me. He was able to shift with the potion but was knocked out mid shift. The wolf. It controls ice to some degree. The claws and teeth mainly. Fire spells do not work. We have tried everything. I. I don't know what to do. I just. I just couldn't let it hurt them." I say as I stare at the wolf and Hagrid who is now bloody with deep scratches but is still not giving up. Snape stares at me before he turns and looks at the four girls surrounding Pomfrey. 

Sighing he Places a hand on my shoulder. "Po… Harry. It is okay to not know what to do. You are still young. You have too much burden on your shoulders. I have come to regret a lot in my life. Some more than others. You will not be one of them." he stands up, his cloak billowing behind him as I look up at him. "What will you do if you don't know what to do? Will you falter? Will you give up?"

I glare. "Never. Till my dying breath I will keep moving forward." his lips twitch slightly before turning around facing the wolf.

"Then stand up. Fight. Endure." his arms splayed wide, his magic explodes knocking me back to the ground. His wand arm raised high in the sky as clouds roll. Rain starts to pour and thunder booms and Lightning flashes. He turns his face to look at me. His eyes gleaming with power. "Overcome" he holds his other hand out and grabs hold of the air and yanks back. Hagrid grunts before being pulled away from the wolf. My eyes wide at the display of wandless. More importantly. His power. It's massive. An ocean pressing down on me. His wand starts to spark with electricity. "Be the person you were always meant to be." before he brings his wand down and the Heavens answer as a massive bolt of lightning flashes And a very painful howl is heard. The sound barrier breaks as I am flying back into the boulder. I see every teacher have shields up protecting them as Fillius is holding himself and Snape from flying back.

'Holy. Fucking. Shit. Was… was he always this powerful? When… When did he ever show he cared? Is. Will he protect me?' 

Vision comes back to my eyes as I see a large smoking creator in the grounds where the wolf lays. Twitching.

Bathsheda yells out. "The rune is almost complete!!! We need to power it!!" I look and see three students running towards the crater. I notice it's the council. Cassius, Cedric and Roger all have serious looks on their faces as they take place on three sides of the crater. Snape goes to limp towards the fourth spot but falls to his knees breathing heavily. Fillius goes to help him. Snape looks back at me and stares. I slowly get up. My body is screaming at me in pain. I start limping.

"I will always stand up." stumbling to my knees I groan. Punching the ground I get up. "I will fight for that which I believe in." I stumble but hold myself up barely. Taking more steps. "I will endure anything this world has to throw at me!!" stumbling past the professors. I don't see Snape staring at me with a small grin. I hold my hand out towards the forest. "I WILL OVERCOME." My wand soars out from the forest into my hands as I let everything I have out. My shirt rips apart as my hair dances in the wind. My eyes glow green. "EVERYTHING!!!" Making it to the spot just as Bathsheda finishes the circle I raise my arm up high in the air as do the other three as we let our magic flow. The runic circle starts to glow bright. The wolf is slowly getting up. Turning my head back to Snape. "I will make them proud. My name is Harry Potter. And I will rise above them ALL!!" we all slam our wands down into the ground as the runic circle explodes with light as chains erupt all along the lines before wrapping around the wolf. Feeling the magic drain from my body at an alarming rate I groan and drop to a knee as does the other three. Roger is pale as paper as Cedric is straining. Cassius is quiet but sweating a good bit. "How long can you hold!" I yell out. 

"As long as I need to." Cedric and Cassius both say. Roger is groaning and losing color at a rapid pace as I widen my eyes.

"Roger!" The chains are almost finished wrapping the wolf as Roger slumps to both knees panting for breath. I can feel the magic from him is barely a stream now. "He won't last much longer!! We need someone else! I... I can't go on much longer. I'm running on fumes." Cassius grunts as he nods. 

"There is no one strong enough to power this circle. We need the Headmaster."

I start racking my brains before feeling feminine hands encircling my chest and two large soft mounds pressing against my back. Before I could turn to look who it is I suddenly feel a rush of magic course through my body as I gasp. The magic circle flares brighter. "You are doing well. I am proud of you." I hear Bella's voice right in my ear. Ignoring how my Pants tighten, I nod as I focus. A flash of fire and Albus appears with Fawkes. He takes one glance at the circle before Swiftly moving and placing his hands on Roger's shoulder. I grunt at the power of magic as Roger suddenly bounces on his feet feeling fine. The chains finish wrapping around the wolf before the circle fades away. I slump to my knees in exhaustion. My vision starts to fade as I see Bella run away. Suddenly a person is there holding my head. Storm Gray eyes shimmer with tears. Smiling, I look up.

"Hey Astoria. You are safe. That's good… That's good." Slowly trailing off as I fall asleep.

"You stupid boy. How can I tell you how I feel if you die on me. Thank you. For protecting me. Rest now. Your precious people will be with you soon. Just don't forget about me. Will You? Harry? Can you love me like the others?" Astoria says with a soft smile before kissing my forehead. 

-Infirmary-

" WHERE IS HE!!"

The doors bang open as every one turns to see a very, very irate Pansy glaring murderous. Hermione peeking out from behind the taller witch wringing her hands. Chewing her lip. Luna skips out as well before passing all the beds before twirling about in front of mine. Luna just points To the plaque that says my name before Pansy stomps into the wing as Medi wizards and witch's part like the red sea. Not daring to get in her way. She rips the curtains open and she kicks off her heels but before she could get in bed with me Luna manages to crawl on top of my body and lays her head against my chest. Pansy doesn't stop before she lays down next to me and holds me. Hermione smiles softly before bowing.

"Apologies. She wouldn't wait. Umm. One more will be coming. I apologize once Again." She bows once more before hurrying after Pansy and closing the curtains.

A wizard looks to Pomfrey who is busy tending to Roger. "Are you just going to let them do that?" Pomfrey raises an eyebrow.

"Do you want to be the one to tell Miss Parkinson that she needs to leave?" The wizard glances back at the closed curtains before an audible gulp is heard. 

"I better check on Mr. Diggory."

Poppy just huffs and rolls her eyes. 'Honestly. The quality of Medi Witches these days.'

The door opens once again and a brunette peeks her hair in. Pomfrey just sighs and points to the closed curtains. Katie quickly dashes in and goes behind the curtains. 

Mcgonagal is laying in a bed asleep. As is Severus. Pomfrey makes sure they are fine before Going to the end of the room where Hagrid is laying down. Team is healing his wounds. To a slow degree due to the magical nature. Hagrid is awake as he winces slightly in discomfort.

"Hagrid. How are you feeling." 

He looks over and smiles his goofy smile. "aww. I'll be right. As long as the little ones are safe. Tas all that matters." Pomfrey smiles and places a hand on his arm.

"You did an admirable job, Hagrid. Thank you."

-Forbidden Forest-

The crunching of leaves and dirt underneath a set of heeled boots as a figure is walking around the clearing where the attack started. Hearing the voices of the hunters also walking around the figure stands still and raises her arms letting the magic flow into her.

"Who are you?" The figure lowers her arms and turns around to see a sight she cursed. Amelia Bones standing there.

The figure raises her arms in a surrender to show no conflict. "I am here to figure out why the Wolf targeted Harry Potter. It attacked the Hippogriff well into the morning and waited all day. Hagrid and those three girls were here for hours. And yet the Wolf did nothing. It wasn't until Harry Potter showed up that it acted. It acted to kill. And I will find out why. Good day Madam Bones." Before the figure walks away. Amelia still stands there.

"Sirius would be proud of you. You know." Before turning and walking away. 

The figure freezes as a soft wind blows pushing the hood back revealing luscious wavy black hair and Amethyst eyes shining with tears. "No he wouldn't. I almost lost him today." Wiping her tears she breathes in before pulling the cowl back up her face vanishing into darkness. A handy little spell the Unspeakables use. She walks through the trees before finding a small runic sequence pulsing softly. Fading with every minute. Licking her lips She gets a taste of it before memorizing the sequence. Frowning, she turns and starts heading back towards the castle. 

-Infirmary-

Waking up I look up at the pure white ceiling. Sighing in relief that I am in a familiar place, I feel myself surrounded by warmth. Craving my neck I see Luna sound asleep curled up on my chest. I look to my right and see Pansy asleep gripping me in a death grip. And to my left I see Hermione and Katie sitting in chairs but holding my arm. Asleep with their heads on my chest and belly. Leaning my head back I breathe Out softly.

' Well that fucking happened. What the hell is an animal touched by magic? This is something waaaaaayyyyy fucking different than anything I know. I guess it's about time the Knowledge I have becomes obsolete. There is still so much to do. Ugh. I wish I could make clones. That would make things so much easier.' 

The curtains move before Pomfrey walks in and sees me awake. Shaking her head she starts waving her wand. "Honestly Potter. You are going to be the death of me one of these days. You were extremely low on magic. Your core was on the brink of collapse. You are lucky once the wolf was contained the emergency wards were released. The wild Magic filled your core to safe levels. You are still very. Very. VERY. VERY. Weak. I forbid you from using any magic. Until summer. Do you understand me? REPEAT WHAT I SAID VERY CAREFULLY. "

I gulp and nod. "I promise not to use any magic until summer. I promise." She stares at me before nodding. ' she scares the fuck out of me.' I think to myself internally crying.

"Good. Miss Parkinson was very worried about you." She smirks before nudging Pansy who mumbles and starts to stir. My heart drops as I look at Pomfrey with a betrayed Look. She covers her mouth. "Oops." Before her eyes twinkling with mirth she slowly backs out and closes the curtains. Pansy sits up and rubs her eyes. I am entranced at How cute she looks as she stretches and rubs her eyes and looks around before staring at me and we lock eyes. I suddenly feel no weight on my chest as I look and see Luna is with Hermione and Katie as they slowly back away. 

"Ahem"

I snap my attention back at Pansy as she is standing now with her arms crossed tapping her stocking clad foot on the ground. She raises an eyebrow and I leap off the bed and prostrate myself in front of her.

"Do you know why you are currently in this position? Harry."

I wince when she doesn't use her Term of endearment. I nod. I don't look up as I see her foot in front of me as she lifts my chin with her toes. I look up at her.

"Yes, my love. I know why I am here."

"And why is it that you are currently here? Harry."

I wince again. "Because I did something Gryffindor Ish. Without Consulting you. But. But. I had to protect them! I." I look up and quiet down as she is staring hard at me. I lower my head before getting to my knees and shuffling toward before wrapping My arms around her and pressing my head against her belly. "If I had run. Moony would have probably died. And then the wolf would have attacked the school. I couldn't let that happen." I mumble into her belly. I feel her bend slightly before hugging my head.

" You don't always have to be the hero Beloved. Sometimes letting others shine is okay. You mean... Everything. To me Beloved. If you died. This world holds no meaning for me." she lowers herself to her knees in front of me. Cupping my cheeks she stares hard. "Remember this beloved. 'Rwyt ti'n eiddo i mi. Ac yr wyf yn eiddo i chi. Yr wyf yn rhoi popeth sydd gennyf i chi.'6"

I blink before smiling bright. "Tu es à moi et je suis à toi. Je prendrai ce que tu m'as donné et je te chérirai jusqu'à la fin des temps. Tu es ma Lady Black."7 

I feel a weight settle on my beck before Luna wraps her arms around us both. Nuzzling my cheek along with Pansys who giggles. "Είμαι δικός σου, το μυαλό, το σώμα και η ψυχή σου. Λαίδη Εκάτη ως μάρτυράς μου, η αγάπη μου για σένα δεν θα χαλάσει ποτέ."8

Luna says with a far off voice. Chuckling, I lean back against the bed and pull them both into my lap as they snuggle. Turning my head I see Hermione wiping her eyes as she sits on the floor Next to me and lays her head on my shoulder and Katie does the same to the other side.

"Don't scare me like that again." Hermione says softly. I kiss her head. 

"I can't promise that I won't do it again. But I will at least think things through before just jumping in." Hermione nods. I look over to Katie who is looking at me as she kisses my cheek. 

"I was drawn to your bravery In the first place Harry. But what If you encounter something beyond your abilities? You are not alone anymore. You have people who love and care about you. You. You have people to come home too now." She wipes her eyes as she breathes in deeply. "Just make sure to come back to us." Pansy nods.

"What she said Beloved. You must always come back to me." She pokes my chest with her perfectly manicured pointed Nail. I wince. I do notice it is very pretty purple this time. 

"Yes dear." I hug them all, and smile. 

'Who would have thought I would be blessed to have people who care about me in this life. That just means I gotta do everything I can to make sure we all survive and live.' 

I feel a tug on my magic core as I suddenly pale. "Oh dear. She's angry." Pansy frowns and looks up.

"Who is angry at you?" Before the curtains rip open as a white blur is screeching and gripping my head before a multitude of sharp pecks are scattered on my face.

"Ow girl!!! God damn!!! I'm sorry, okay!!! I'm alright!!! Not the face!!!" The girls all giggle and get off me as I roll along the floor covering my face. Before Hedwig starts attacking a different place. "Hit my face!!! Hit my face!!!! Ahhh. Much better." Hedwig jumps down onto my lap as she glares at me and swats my head with her wing. "I'm sorry girl. I already got yelled at by the others." Hedwig looks at Pansy who nods. She turns her attention back to me and huffs before swatting me again before flapping her wings and flying to Katie's shoulder. She turns her head away from me. I slump my shoulders. Luna skips over and pats my head commiserating. 

"Ahem. May I have a moment, my boy." I freeze slightly. Hermione gasps softly. Pansy frowns at our reactions. I turn and see Dumbledore standing there with his arms clasped. Eyes twinkling. 

"Yeah. Sure Professor. I feel fine enough to talk." Luna struggles to pull me to my feet comically. I chuckle and stand up with her being lifted in the air by my arm. She starts Giggling and swinging. Rolling my eyes I sit on the edge of the bed. "So what's up."

Albus looks at the girls. "Maybe. It's best if we do this alone?" 

I shrug my shoulders. "I mean. We could. But I Keep no secrets from Hermione. Luna will nag me. And I will never lie to Pansy. Katie is a go with the flow type of gal. So there is basically nothing I will keep from them. Besides, Pansy is to be my Lady Black. She will be organizing my household. I don't believe she will do a half assed job by not knowing all pertinent information." Pansy preens under my praise. Hermione smiles. Katie grins and gives a thumbs up. Luna is pouting at not being able to swing anymore.

Dumbledore frowns a bit. "Maybe another time then. I'm glad you are safe." Before he turns and walks away. I stare after him with a blank face before I feel a cool hand on my cheek. Blinking, I turn and look at Pansy who is looking at me with worry. 

"Beloved?" I lean into her hand. 

"I'll tell you later. I promise." Pansy searches My eyes before nodding and kissing my forehead. Before hugging me tight.

"I need to go shower. I stink. Come Luna." She says turning and putting her heels back on. Luna pouts but skips after her humming. Katie hugs me.

"I am glad you are alright Harry. What do you want me to tell the Gryffs? Everyone knows what happened. Hogwarts has a lot of open windows. It was terrifying and amazing."

I groan. "Just tell them I'm alive." Katie nods and looks around before Swiftly kissing me passionately. Pulling away with darkened eyes filled with lust she smirks and sashays away. My eyes locked on her ass. Hermione rolls her eyes and swats the back of my head.

"Keep it in your pants love." I chuckle and turn to her.

"Whenever you are ready luv." I pull her to my lap as she yelps. She wraps her arms around me as she starts to shake. I run my fingers Through her hair.

"I almost lost you Harry." she Says in a soft voice. My bones start to creak as she squeezes the life out of me.

"I'm okay. Oof. Mione. I'm here." I wheeze out. 

"Ahem. I hope I am not interrupting anything Mr. Potter. But if you Could answer some questions?" I hear a mature female voice. Looking over I see Officer Singer. Amelia Bones Prodige. Hermione eeps and jumps away with a huge blush. 

"Oh. Um… I gottagoshowerbyeHarry." Before she runs away. Singer looks after her with a frown.

"I'm sorry." I wave her off.

"Don't be. She is still shy when it comes to public displays of affection. What can I do you for Officer Singer." Singer takes off her top hat. And sits down in a chair. Back straight. At attention. 

"Please tell me what happened from the beginning. Is it okay if I use a doctor quill for this? I need your version of events." She says. I nod before she snaps her fingers and a parchment unfolds from her Robes and a quill appears before starting to write.

After recounting my version while highly Editing it. I finish with the seal. Singer doesn't say anything before nodding and taking the parchment. Putting it into her robes she stands up and dons her hat. "Thank you Mr. Potter. I hope your recovery goes well. Madam Bones will be in touch." She inclines her head and walks away. Standing up and stretching I step out and see Snape and Mcgonagal still asleep on beds. I look over to where Hagrid is now resting covered with bandages. Walking over he looks at me with a grin. 

"Hey there Harry. I'm glad yer alrigh."

"Me? Look at you ya big goof. You are a mummy!" Hagrid chuckles but winces.

"Don make me laugh. And don you be fellin sorry. Those girls wer main thing. Gettin tem to Safety was smart. Yer did good Harry." I smile and hug him he pats my Back. "No off with yeh. You need some food."

-Slytherin Common Room-

Sitting on a couch with Sebastian who is staring off into space. I cross my legs and rest my chin on a fist. Marcus and Gemma are in a similar daze as Sebastian.

"Draco. Did you know Potter was that strong?" Gemma finally says after minutes of silence. I smirk.

"Obviously. Why do you think I entrusted Mother's safety to him." Gemma nods slowly.

"Well. At least Pansy will be safe with him." There is a commotion as the Slytherin students all crowd around the entrance. I look over and frown before clearing my throat loudly.

"Let them through. Honestly. Acting like a bunch of Puffs. We are better than that." I called out. They All chuckle and disperse. Cassius walks in followed by the greengrass sisters. I notice that the littlest one has a far off look in her face as Daphne is frowning. Cassius makes his way over to us and sits down with a sigh.

"That took a bit out of me. And it Goes to show that Davies is not suited for his role. But. Oh well. It's interesting that a Touched animal reached that size. It's unprecedented." Cassius rolls his shoulder as tea appears at the table. Making his cup Gemma hands him the tea. "Thank you Gemma. Draco. I will start working behind the scenes for you. I will be inducted to the Wizengamot this summer. I will let you know which houses are agreeable. And which need to be dealt with."

I smirk. "Thank you Cassius." Leaning back I close my eyes and smile. 

-Hufflepuff Common Room-

sitting Down on a beanbag with Megan I look across the room to see my best friend sitting with Ernie. I frown and cross my arms. Megan notices this as she looks between us.

"Come off it Hannah. Susan finally found a boyfriend." I Scoff.

"Ernie? He is a sub par wizard. Susie is from The Bones. Trust me when I say, that is not a good match. His inferiority complex will rear its head." I spit out. Megan has wide eyes. "Susie shouldn't be with him. It's puzzling how this happened. And how he always managed to be there." Turning to my thoughts Megan just raises an eyebrow to me. Before looking back at Susan. Who is sitting with her hands in her lap looking down while Ernie has a possessive arm around her shoulders laughing with the other boys. Not seeing anything wrong she turns back to her magazine. 

-Hogwarts Express-

Walking up with Pansy holding my arm I help her put her trunk in a compartment as She sits down with Luna and Hermione. I put all the trunks up above and sit down. Katie told me earlier she is gonna sit with the team before sending me off with a very passionate snog in a broom cupboard. After finishing in her mouth she smiles and kisses my cheek and asks to spend some time over the summer together to meet her parents. I agreed with her and told her I'm looking forward to meeting them. She smiles and walks away swaying her hips for my pleasure. Luna sits next to me and pulls out the newest addition of the Quibbler and puts on the special glasses. 

"When does your family wish to meet with me to discuss the betrothal?" I ask Pansy.

"As soon as we arrive Beloved. They will be waiting for us." I cup my chin.

"I think I can do that. I'll just have to speak with my uncle." Frowning. "He better have behaved this year." I mutter darkly. 

Pansy looks at me before she turns to Hermione to talk to her.

Leaning back in my seat I look out the window. ' This summer is the Quidditch World Cup. In Canon the Delacours Don't attend. But there are many fanfics there. This world isn't Canon. So I will expect a lot of different things. I wonder what will happen. Should I attack the Death Eaters? It's stuff to think about. '

Closing my eyes as the train starts moving. ' Summer Break. Here I come.'
