Chapter 244 - Chapter 245: The Immortal Human of All Time

A few hours before the party…

Inside a quiet chamber within the palace of the Adhan Kingdom, a tense atmosphere lingered.

Seated calmly on a luxurious sofa was Deku, also known as Dentai Kuma. His expression was composed, yet his eyes carried a sharp, calculating intent. Standing beside him was Indra, silent and attentive.

In front of them stood a man radiating loyalty—Polgerius.

Deku spoke in a calm yet serious tone:

"Polgerius… one of my marshals. I have a task for you."

Polgerius immediately bowed his head, his voice filled with devotion.

"Just give the order, my king… and it shall be done."

Deku's eyes narrowed slightly.

"We've found him… the immortal human—Guru Siddha. Kill him. I want him dead."

A faint killing intent filled the room.

Polgerius didn't hesitate.

"As you command, my king. But… where can I find him?"

"He's a member of the Siddha Clan," Deku replied coldly. "Only two remain. One of them is Guru Siddha… and I've finally located him. He's in the Empire—at Huihu Mountain."

Polgerius nodded firmly.

"Yes, my king."

Without another word, he disappeared.

Indra stepped forward slightly.

"My lord… if I remember correctly, the Siddha Clan is the only human clan capable of standing against true dragons."

Deku nodded.

"Yes."

"But… didn't you destroy that clan 500 years ago? How is Guru Siddha still alive?"

Deku leaned back, completely unfazed.

"I did send my entire undead army… and lost 70% of it in that war."

A brief flash of memory surfaced—

Burning lands.

Skeletons, shadows, and undead swarming across the battlefield.

Humans fighting back fiercely.

Explosions. Fire. Death everywhere.

Then—

Silence.

Back to the present.

"The clan was destroyed," Deku continued. "But that damn Guru survived."

Indra frowned slightly.

"Is he really that powerful… to live for 1500 years?"

Deku smirked faintly.

"It's not just him. The entire clan is monstrous. Even their weakest members have lifespans exceeding 20,000 years. They don't die naturally… and killing them isn't easy."

Indra was silent for a moment.

"Then… why didn't you use their bodies to create undead?"

Deku clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"That's the problem. As they were dying, they burned themselves into ash. And you can't create undead from ash."

Indra nodded.

"I see…"

Deku's gaze sharpened again.

"That Guru escaped… and took one student with him. At that time, the student was around 30 years old."

Indra looked up.

"Who?"

Deku smirked.

"Emperor Takumi Siddha."

Indra showed little surprise.

"That explains his strength. A human like him having such power… it makes sense now."

Deku shrugged.

"Still, he's nothing compared to Guru. Takumi only has 20–35 years of training. Guru has centuries."

Indra asked calmly,

"How strong is Guru exactly?"

Deku answered without hesitation:

"If Guru wanted… he could destroy an entire nation like Naco Country alone. Takumi? Maybe just a single state."

Indra took a breath.

"Then… can Polgerius defeat him?"

Deku smiled faintly.

"I've given him potions—healing, strength, speed, stamina. And don't forget… he's one of my marshals."

After a pause, he added,

"A hybrid… born from a human and an insect."

Indra fell silent.

Later…

High in the sky—

Polgerius soared forward at incredible speed, his transparent teal wings slicing through the air.

Soon, a massive mountain appeared ahead—flat at the top.

Huihu Mountain.

At its peak sat an old man.

Long white hair.

A flowing beard.

Eyes closed in meditation.

Guru Siddha.

The moment Polgerius saw him—

"!!"

Without a word, he rushed forward at full speed.

A powerful punch shot toward Guru—

—but passed straight through empty air.

"…?! It didn't hit?!"

Polgerius instantly turned.

Guru was gone.

Then—

A voice echoed from above.

"Who are you?"

Polgerius looked up.

Guru floated calmly in the sky, his golden-black eyes staring down with overwhelming presence.

Polgerius smirked.

"I came here for one reason."

He dashed forward again.

"To kill you!"

BOOM!

Their fists clashed.

A violent shockwave exploded outward, shaking the air and tearing trees from the ground.

But neither moved.

And neither took damage.

Then—

The battle began.

Punches.

Kicks.

Blinding speed.

The two figures clashed relentlessly, their movements tearing through the sky as they moved across vast distances.

Hours passed.

Five hours later…

The sky turned orange.

Yet their battle continued.

Finally—

Guru caught Polgerius mid-motion—

and threw him far away.

"AAH—!"

Polgerius skidded through the air, barely stabilizing himself.

He breathed heavily.

"Damn… he's too strong…!"

His expression hardened.

"My potions are almost out…"

He pulled out four bottles:

Light red.

Red.

Blue.

Green.

"Healing potion."

He drank it—his wounds began to close.

"Strength potion."

His power surged.

"Stamina potion."

His energy returned.

"Speed potion."

His body accelerated drastically.

Far away, Guru watched silently.

"How many potions do you have?" he said calmly. "Those won't change anything."

Polgerius smirked.

"…Let's see about that."

They clashed again—

moving across the sky—

until night fell.

Meanwhile…

At the Blegree Kingdom Palace—

A grand party was underway.

On the balcony—

Bit and Gesha stood together.

Suddenly—

Gesha looked up.

"…What is that in the sky?"

Two lights clashed in the distance—

White.

Teal.

Bit squinted.

"…I don't know… maybe the sky is celebrating our confession?"

Gesha gave him a deadpan look.

"That's a lame joke."

Bit scratched his head awkwardly.

"…Anyway, let's go inside. Let's dance."

"…Okay."

They walked back inside—

completely unaware…

That a battle between monsters was raging above them.
