Within the Tree Spirit Space, Liu Xi slowly stored away the human-head-sized 9th Rank Monster Core, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. This trip had been a complete harvest — not only had he successfully broken through to the Dou Saint realm, but he had also obtained multiple Bodhisattva Seeds and now, even a 9th Rank Monster Core.
Lifting his head, his gaze landed upon the colossal Bodhisattva Ancient Tree not far ahead. The ten-zhang-tall tree radiated an emerald brilliance, its surface as smooth and flawless as jade, exuding a sacred and tranquil aura that made one instinctively revere it.
An audacious idea suddenly surfaced in Liu Xi's mind — so bold that it made his mouth go dry and his breathing quicken.
Licking his lips, he stared at the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree with a burning gaze, then stepped forward with a gentle smile. "Senior," he said softly, "are you… lonely?"
The Bodhisattva Ancient Tree seemed to answer silently: Are you polite?
Seeing that the tree didn't lash out at him, Liu Xi's courage grew. He reached out and gently placed a hand on its ancient trunk.
"Countless years," he said with emotion, "you've been entangled by the resentment of a Dou Di, left to stand here alone, your nature distorted by endless solitude. But now, everything is different. You've freed yourself from that grudge and returned to your true self — holy, wise, and serene."
He smiled faintly. "The world outside is vast and beautiful. Why don't you come with me to see it? You deserve a better way to live."
Qing Lin, standing nearby, blinked blankly. 'My Young Master… is trying to flirt with a tree. What am I supposed to do now?'
Liu Xi continued calmly, standing beneath the tree, one hand caressing its trunk as he spoke softly. The scene was so bizarre that it somehow appeared harmonious.
Qing Lin's lips twitched, her fingers covering her small mouth as she stifled laughter. She dared not interrupt him, afraid it might ruin his "negotiation."
The Bodhisattva Ancient Tree rustled gently, its emerald canopy swaying. The sound of its leaves brushing together was light and soothing, as though it truly was considering Liu Xi's words. Then, one of its branches slowly descended and brushed gently across his head.
The surroundings fell silent.
Liu Xi's face remained composed, but his heart pounded nervously as he waited — would the tree accept or reject him?
To think that he was trying to build a connection with a divine tree… this was unprecedented. Normally, a Bodhisattva Ancient Tree, with its incomplete sentience, was little more than a holy but naïve being. Since it already had a favorable impression of him, perhaps there was hope. Yet, given its ancient existence, how could it easily agree to leave its roots behind?
Suddenly, radiant streams of pure energy rose from the tree's surface. The clear aura gathered above its crown, condensed without dispersing, then slowly drifted toward Liu Xi.
He blinked, momentarily puzzled. It didn't seem harmful, so he didn't resist.
The cluster of clear light floated before his forehead and, like a flowing stream, seeped directly into it.
A refreshing coolness washed over him. There was no discomfort—only clarity and peace. His fatigue vanished, his spirit soared, and his thoughts sharpened as though the burdens of the world had been lifted away.
Then, in his spiritual world, he sensed the pure light taking root. From it sprouted a small sapling that rapidly grew into a towering ten-zhang-tall tree with dense branches, casting shade over his spiritual sea. Beneath it, his spiritual power, comprehension, and essence all began to rise continuously.
Liu Xi was astonished. 'What exactly did the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree give me? How can it have such miraculous effects?'
And then, in his mind, a playful voice echoed faintly—
"( ̄▽ ̄) … Depends on your performance!"
Liu Xi froze, then broke into a wide grin. He understood now. This was the tree's blessing—a key it had entrusted to him, a promise that he could return.
"Understood," he murmured joyfully. This reward far exceeded his expectations. It was like buying a bottle of vinegar only to find a box of crabs included for free.
"Senior, please send us out. I will definitely come back to find you," Liu Xi said respectfully.
The Bodhisattva Ancient Tree shook its canopy lightly, its branches waving as if in farewell. A dazzling light burst from its trunk, enveloping Liu Xi and Qing Lin.
The world spun wildly around them, their bodies beyond their control. When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves standing outside the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree's space.
Beneath the colossal tree towering thousands of feet high, the two appeared as insignificant as ants. Liu Xi immediately cloaked them in spiritual power, concealing their presence completely.
Even the two battling Dou Saints in the sky failed to notice that beneath the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree, two new figures had quietly appeared.
Liu Xi squinted up at the sky, watching the two titans clash. The heavens shook, the sun and moon dimmed, and violent winds howled—but after all that, neither Dou Saint had even managed to make the other bleed.
'Such fierce posturing… yet so little result. Compared to the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree, these two are amateurs.'
Waving farewell to the ancient tree, Liu Xi smiled and said, "Let's go, Qing Lin."
Qing Lin glanced at the raging battle overhead. "Young Master, what about those two Dou Saints?"
"They'll stop once they're tired," Liu Xi replied lazily. "Those two pieces of trash couldn't harm the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree even if they wanted to. Don't worry about them."
Qing Lin nodded, her slender waist twisting gracefully as she followed him. The two slipped quietly out of the Ancient Wasteland Region.

Elsewhere, The Bloodshed Caused by a Bodhisattva Seed was still unfolding. Hun Yu led the blood-eyed Jiu Feng, the sharp-tongued Liu Cang, and a group of greed-blinded Dou Zuns in relentless pursuit of Xiao Yan.
To protect him, the two Dou Zuns from the Falling Star Pavilion had already fallen, and even Gu Qingyang's squad of guards had been abandoned under Gu Xun'er's command. Their sacrifice bought Xiao Yan and Gu Xun'er a brief chance to escape into the vast, beast-infested mountain range.
The area teemed with dangerous Magical Beasts, which made it the perfect place to hide.
Hun Yu frowned. With Xiao Yan's aura concealed and his presence hidden, even his sharp perception couldn't pinpoint him.
Meanwhile, the group's morale was crumbling. The greed in their hearts outweighed any alliance—after all, there was only one Bodhisattva Seed.
Seeing this, Hun Yu laughed. "Haha, Xiao Yan is truly cunning—abandoning everyone to flee into the mountains. There are countless beasts in there; it's no place for a large-scale search. We'll split up. Whoever finds him first, send a signal, and we'll converge to seize the Seed and the method to communicate with the Bodhisattva Ancient Tree!"
"Brilliant plan, Young Master Hun Yu!"
"Splitting up will be faster!"
The group chorused their agreement, but beneath their flattery, each had the same thought — 'Find Xiao Yan first, and why send a signal at all?'
After all, the Bodhisattva Seed was priceless.
Even Liu Cang's eyes flickered with greed. A single seed—who could resist such temptation?
"Good. Disperse," Hun Yu commanded lightly.
In an instant, the group scattered into the endless mountain range, each driven by desire.
As Hun Yu watched them vanish, a faint smile curled his lips. "Greedy fools. The Bodhisattva Seed? Hmph. What's that compared to divine blood? If I capture Gu Xun'er and take her divine bloodline for myself… reaching the Dou Saint realm will be but a step away."
