Gerald's eyes narrowed. "What kind of favor?"
I leaned forward slightly.
"I want your people to build something for me."
This time Gerald fully turned around to face me.
The atmosphere inside the room shifted immediately. Even Gwen's amused expression faded slightly as curiosity flickered across her face. Kaiden straightened subtly beside me while Aeliora looked between us carefully, already sensing that whatever I intended to say next would not be ordinary.
Slowly, I rose from my seat.
The room grew quiet again as I reached into my coat before pulling out the folded sheets filled with sketches, calculations, symbols, and mechanical designs. I stepped toward him calmly before handing him the papers.
For several moments, he simply stared at the papers in silence.
His eyes moved carefully across every sketch while his thick brows slowly furrowed deeper and deeper.
Then suddenly he looked at me.
Then back at the papers.
Then directly at me again.
