"Hide, hide, hide," Mylo whispers breathlessly to Jamie as they duck their heads under the large kitchen island as hurried footsteps of about ten guards run past the living room.
Jamie quickly removes a black container full of forest herbs and applies them on Mylo's neck.
"What are you doing?" Mylo whispers, blinking confusedly at Jamie.
"Hiding your scent, omega," Jamie quickly whispers back, "Here, put some of my clothes on," His hands are trembling in fear.
His entire body was shaking and breaking out in cold sweat as he now applied the herb to his own neck, hiding his scent. He quickly dropped the container and pulled out a key from his shoes, eyeing it victoriously.
"They are gone," Mylo says shakenly as the footsteps are gone, he was in an erratic pain he has never felt before in his life, but he was not allowing himself to feel anything. He needed to run, he needed to escape, he cannot afford to be caught by the Alpha.
