Dragon's mood had taken a sharp nosedive.
He knew Jaeger had killed his father. But Dragon was never one to act purely out of vengeance. He had greater ideals.
Inviting Bullet, that battle-obsessed madman, to stir chaos in Loguetown had been part of a bigger plan: create turmoil and capitalize on it.
Killing Jaeger would be ideal, sure—but even if he failed, he could bide his time. Ten, twenty years—it didn't matter. The right opportunity would come eventually.
But what Dragon never accounted for… was Esdeath.
She didn't just freeze the battlefield—she froze the entire place. They were trapped in a world of ice, like turtles sealed inside an urn.
There would be no reinforcements, no escape. The public execution of the so-called "Pirate King" had been a trap from the very beginning.
And worst of all…
Jaeger was a Celestial Dragon. Infamous for indulging in beauty, it was no surprise he had a harem of striking female subordinates.
But why—why—were all of them terrifying monsters in their own right?
Esdeath, Yamato, Scathach… they weren't just beautiful. They were powerhouses.
Grinding his teeth, Dragon shouted across the battlefield toward the man standing behind those monstrous women.
"Jaeger! You're a man who can wipe out a country with a flick of your hand! Are you really going to cower behind women like a spoiled pretty boy!?"
Jaeger raised an eyebrow.
"…Pretty boy?"
He chuckled, shrugging with casual arrogance. "Fighting all the time is exhausting, you know. If I can be a pretty boy, and these gorgeous monsters don't mind letting me be one… why should I complain?"
"…"
Dragon was stunned. Mouth agape, completely unprepared for this level of shamelessness. A Celestial Dragon admitting he relied on women? Openly?
"Pfft—"
Esdeath burst out laughing. Her eyes sparkled with a dangerous kind of affection as she eyed Jaeger.
"With that face of yours, you do look like a divine beauty. I wouldn't mind keeping you locked in my basement and… breaking your legs. Would make for a delightful weekend."
Jaeger sighed. "You're having way too much fun with this."
Even Scathach blinked in surprise, her usual composure faltering.
"As a Celtic warrior, I'm not easily fazed—but… imprisoning a man and training him like a slave? That's too much."
She turned toward Jaeger, studying him more closely.
"Still… with the beauty of a god, it's no wonder even the gods would chase after you if you were born in another age."
"Hey, hey! He's mine!"
Yamato suddenly stepped forward, waving her massive mace threateningly at Esdeath and Scathach.
"If anyone's locking up Jaeger, it's me! Don't think you can just take him away!"
"…What's wrong with all of you?"
Karuizawa, nestled comfortably on Jaeger's other side, rolled her eyes and stepped forward.
"Unlike these lunatics, I'd never hurt Mr. Jaeger. I'd just dote on him gently."
"Hmph. A clingy parasite," Esdeath scoffed.
Karuizawa smiled sweetly.
"The weak relying on the strong is a natural truth. Better than abusing them, wouldn't you say, oh great 'Ice Queen' who can't go five minutes without talking about ravaging people?"
"Oh?" Esdeath's smile froze. The air around her dropped several degrees.
"Do you want to fight, Jaeger's loyal lapdog?"
"I was hoping you'd ask."
Black lightning crackled around Karuizawa like coiled serpents. She grinned.
"Even with power suppressed a hundredfold, this is Jaeger's Star Treasure. I'll still break your icy pride."
"…"
Jaeger fell silent.
Had he accidentally walked into a Shura field?
He glanced at the scene before him—Esdeath and Karuizawa nearly clashing, Yamato pointing her club at both of them, Scathach silently watching like a bored referee.
Am I… the beauty that brings disaster to nations now?
Even Kaido and Akainu, who had been watching from a distance, looked dumbfounded.
Jaeger… was willingly living off women?
Akainu's face twitched. For the first time in years, he questioned his own life choices.
If only… I'd been born a beautiful woman, he thought. Maybe I could've guided Jaeger to true justice…. (T/N: Gag!!!)
Kaido, meanwhile, was holding in a grin. Stupid daughter… you're doing well. Once you marry this freak, I'll ride the coattails and live it up as a Celestial Dragon!
Monday, Wednesday, Friday—launch a Buster Call. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday—slaughter pirates and non-member countries. A perfect life!
His fantasies were abruptly cut short by several killing intents.
Scathach and Esdeath had turned their attention to him.
"…Yamato's father," Scathach said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Why are you looking at us like obstacles?"
Kaido broke into a cold sweat. "O-Of course not! You're all Jaeger's precious companions. I'd never…"
He trailed off.
He absolutely would. But he wasn't dumb enough to say it out loud.
"Hey."
A soft voice interrupted the growing tension. Gion, still comfortably nestled in Jaeger's arms, raised a hand and pointed toward Dragon.
"Y'all remember we're still in a battle, right?"
"Oh, him?"
Esdeath snorted, glancing at the now-silent Dragon. "He's trapped. Not like he's going anywhere."
She smiled devilishly. "What's the matter, Dragon? Regretting not building a harem of your own? Trying to be a pretty boy now?"
Dragon's voice was steady but bitter. "With strength and beauty like yours… why follow the Celestial Dragons? You could save millions. Inspire the world."
Esdeath's eyes narrowed. "That your last speech?"
Without waiting for a response, she cut in sharply. "The strong rule. The weak kneel. That's the law of nature."
Dragon barked, furious, "That's not nature—that's cruelty! The strong should protect the weak. That's what power is for!"
"Spare me the clichés."
Her gaze turned cold, like glaciers cracking. "My father died. My village fell. No one came. If the weak fall, that's on them. I've accepted that. And if someday I fall for the same reason… I won't complain."
Dragon stared at her.
He suddenly understood—these women weren't twisted because of Jaeger.
They were already twisted.
And now… he felt it.
That same cold, suffocating pressure that came from facing something truly beyond.
Jaeger was already a one-man army. With this monstrous harem, and allies like Kaido and Akainu, how could anyone hope to defeat him?
Whitebeard? Big Mom? Even together, they'd be crushed.
A hollow sense of despair crept in. Maybe Jaeger… really couldn't be overthrown.
"Um—"
Karuizawa raised her hand like a student, grinning wickedly.
"—are we done with this morality play? Can we send Mr. Revolutionary to hell now? I want to tour the world with Jaeger-sama, drink champagne, and live like royalty."
"Hmph!"
Esdeath let out a cold snort. The surrounding air, thick with frost, began to dissipate as she declared with chilling finality,
"Their lives belong to Jaeger."
Scathach withdrew her twin crimson spears. Her eyes, sharp and unwavering, locked onto the battered dragon before her. Her voice carried both reverence and disappointment:
"I can see it—you're a warrior worthy of legend. If you were in my world, I would've ended your life with these very spears... not out of hatred, but as a mark of respect. But this isn't my world. It's Jaeger's. So your death belongs to him."
The dragon frowned. "Her world? Jaeger's world?" He couldn't make sense of it. Words like that held no meaning to a creature grounded in a single reality.
They must be talking in riddles again... some kind of warrior code or secret among elites, he thought, brushing the notion aside.
His voice dropped into a low rumble.
"My father… before he fell to your hands, said god Avoid was Roger's most powerful technique."
He looked up at Jaeger—who was, without shame or urgency, lounging comfortably with Gion and Karui at his side, as if this battlefield were a beach resort.
"Yet you wield it like child's play. Not only that... you've refined it. Improved it. You've gone beyond even the Pirate king himself, haven't you?"
Jaeger chuckled, his smile casual but razor-edged.
"More or less," he said lightly.
"And I also learned a little something from your father—a special move of his. Care to try it out with your life?"
The dragon's eyes narrowed.
"I wouldn't have it any other way."
Without hesitation, he lunged forward, his arms cloaked in Armament Haki, forming obsidian-colored dragon claws.
The very earth shattered beneath his feet from the force. A violent wind howled behind him as he surged forward—faster than he'd ever moved in his life.
Within an instant, he was nearly on Jaeger. The man hadn't even shifted. Still smiling. Still holding his women. Still acting like none of this mattered.
Hope sparked in the dragon's heart.
Has he gotten cocky? Is this my opening? Even the strongest fall when they underestimate the weak.
But dreams are fragile.
And some warriors… are untouchable.
Jaeger, still cradling both women, moved without moving. The dragon didn't see the strike—he just felt it.
His wrist—seized.
"Wha—?!"
The dragon gritted his teeth.
"He's strong—no, monstrous!"
He tried to rip himself free. Nothing. He summoned storms, hurricanes, lightning—all of it aimed point-blank at Jaeger.
But Jaeger was faster.
"Meteor Throw."
The name was spoken softly—an art passed from Garp, the dragon's own father. Jaeger's grip tightened. He spun the dragon like a discus, using his own momentum against him, and then—released.
The dragon soared.
"BOOM. BOOM. BOOM."
Shockwaves tore through the sky as he shattered the sound barrier, the clouds, and gravity itself. The dragon's body became a streak of flame—racing toward the heavens like a falling star in reverse.
Until he was gone.
No sign. No echo. Just burning silence.
"Wh-Where… where did he go?"
Kaido's eyes darted around wildly, trying to track something beyond mortal sight.
Jaeger smiled faintly.
"I aimed for the center of the sun. But don't worry—he'll probably die long before reaching it. Not even ashes will remain."
Kaido's mouth opened, then closed. He wanted to say it was insane. Impossible. Utter nonsense.
But then he remembered—this was Jaeger. The man who cracked the sky open in Wano. The man who nearly killed him like swatting a fly.
Suddenly, throwing someone into the sun didn't sound that far-fetched.
"Ahem… Well. Of course. For someone like you… that's just natural..."
Jaeger tilted his head. His expression changed slightly.
"Hmm… It's arrived. Not particularly strong, but interesting."
"Eh?"
Kaido blinked in confusion.
Then, Jaeger slowly raised his palm toward the sky.
"CRACK-BOOOOM!"
A furious thunderclap shook the heavens. Overhead, dark clouds thickened and lightning flashed violently. And then—rain.
A heavy, soaking downpour fell over Logue Town, soaking everything—even the thick sheets of ice that Esdeath had spread across the landscape.
Kaido looked up, stunned.
"Rain? But the sky's still frozen! There's no way precipitation can break through that!"
He turned to Jaeger in disbelief.
"Wait... Saint Jaeger… is this you?"
Jaeger nodded calmly.
"Mm."
The lightning vanished.
The clouds broke.
Now—snow.
Then hail.
Then a tornado.
Then sunshine.
Jaeger demonstrated each weather phenomenon like flipping through a deck of cards, controlling the climate like it was his personal mood ring.
Akainu stepped forward, eyes wide.
"Can you control the weather?"
Jaeger simply smiled.
"Yes."
Kaido immediately dropped into praise-dog mode.
"That's incredible! Far better than what that fool Dragon could ever do! You're not just changing weather—you're commanding the heavens! Covering Logue Town alone is already divine, but—"
"It's not just Logue Town."
Scathach's voice cut in, her expression unreadable.
She gazed upward with clairvoyant eyes, watching the global shift of skies and storms.
"It's the whole world. Every sea. Every island. Every kingdom. He's altering the weather everywhere at once... This isn't god-like power—this surpasses it."
Kaido's smile froze. Akainu couldn't even speak.
And across the world...
In the East Blue.
The Grand Line.
The New World.
People screamed in terror as hurricanes raged, blizzards swept in, lightning split mountains, and tornadoes danced across oceans.
Entire crews panicked. Civilians dropped to their knees, praying for salvation.
"Is this... the end of the world?!"
