Chapter 84 - The end of the End of the World

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in the Golden See that I now know to be the Asmiliated Universe within the Originium. But this time, the sky wasn't black, but deep blue instead, matching the colors of my Originium Glintstone. In the sky, there was no rhombus like on Terra; it looked empty, but I didn't have that creepy feeling now without it.

-"Oh, you are here."-That voice appeared once again, but my body didn't tremble this time.

-"I am."-I nodded and looked around.

-"No need to look, you won't find me here. I only left a sliver of attention here to see why you changed so much, and I must say, I'm not disappointed."

-"I see. Thank you."

-"Oh, no need to be so serious between us, my Dear. But I hope you can learn how to use Originium properly. As a masterpiece created by your other parent and me, it's quite disappointing when you can't use it properly."

-"Then may I ask for some pointers?"

-"Hmm… Ask AMa-10; she already gave you some data, but some things need greater access than she possesses, so you should visit that landship. Aside from that, the laboratories of my other 'compatriots' should also be of help to you. I especially suggest you visit the Aegirian coast, where Lu's laboratory is, as the Fosterer Project can be of use to you."

-"AMa-10? Fosterer Project?"

-"Right. AMa-10 should be called Kal'tsit, or that Old Lynx as you call her, as for the Fosterer Project, I believe Seaborn should be associated with it."

-"I'll follow up on those clues."

-"Good. Also, one more thing. When I helped you, I noticed that this world… what it was… right Root, has similar properties to Originium, as an environment of pure information. So I took some liberty to modify some things to help you in the future. If you can, you should try to restore that whole Third Magic thing from the shards you have; it can make your Originium even stronger in the future."

I was about to respond, but the surroundings suddenly disappeared.

When I could see the surroundings again, I returned to the crumbling remains of Camelot; Artoria and Laqeramaline were watching me carefully, looking at the changes that occurred in me. I looked down only to find that my armor was restored to its previous pristine state. I then looked at my crystal left arm, seeing that the amber hue was still there, though it was mixed with white, not pure gold like before. But the biggest change occurred inside of me, in what was invisible to the outside.

It's a Noble Phantasm that exists as a fusion of Rhongomyniad, Luminosité Eternelle, and the identity of Metatron, and allows the usage of any of them.

______________________________

When I read through my changed status, I felt strange. I gained the identity of Metatron; most likely, this was the help my 'parent' mentioned. This was indeed a great help, as this power was not less than Night, Stars, or Moon. While I needed more accumulation, it was only a matter of time for me to become the true god of Sankta, of Angels.

I touched my chest where my Originium Glintstone should be, but it was no longer there; now it was fully fused with my Divine Core, existing in a higher dimension, safe from any damage. If previously I could regrow it, now there won't be a need to do so. I stood up slowly, only to find that the wings behind me had split into three pairs; one extending above my shoulders, one behind my back, and one lower than my elbow. I moved them a few times, then folded them, trying to get used to having more wings.

Next, I tried to use my new power, first I manifested the spear, but was surprised that it didn't look like an Artoria's lance, but it took the shape of a standard, almost like Jeanne's, but the flag wasn't made from cloth, but from light itself, with the Lateran coat of arms on it. I could use it not only as a spear, but also to cast miracles.

Then I used more of my power, activating my divinity. The moment I did so, an aureole appeared behind me, a circle of pure white light representing my divine position. The halo above my head also changed, taking the shape of a crown. The last thing that changed visibly was the fact that I could feel the existence of a total of 72 wings, most of which existed in other dimensions, but I could use all of them to defend myself if I needed to.

On the subject of defense, I also tried to understand how exactly the Garden of Eden worked, and it was rather straight forward. Nothing could die in area around me, though any damage would still be left on the person protected by it. It was something that could save life, but not prevent harm. I instantly tested if I could kill something in the range of it, and yes, I thankfully could, otherwise I would be in quite a pickle.

After a few more moments, I returned to normal and turned to Artoria and Laqeramaline, smiling slightly.

-"It's even bigger a success than I anticipated."

-"Good for you. Though, would you mind explaining my situation?"-Laqeramaline asked with her usual calm smile.

-"It would seem that I awakened my Banshee's bloodline as I did with the Cyclops' before. Because of it, there is now a connection between us, allowing you to appear like Promulgator. The shadows of Elegiac Court are also due to that."

-"Then I can now officially state that another male Banshee was born. I'm certain everyone will be happy to hear that."

-"Eno, it's time for us to leave."-Artoria reminded us, the Singularity disappearing around us.

-"What is your plan?"-I asked her.

-"I'll stay here."-She smiled sadly.

-"Why?"

-"There is no place I can call home anymore."

-"Then come with me. I'll believe you'll fit right in in Laterano."

She was about to refuse, but I grabbed her hand and used my divinity to activate my Right to Convert on her. She resisted for a brief moment before sighing and allowing the Sankta's halo and wings to appear on her.

-"Won't that cause you trouble with the other version of me?"

-"Well, I bet she'll be annoyed at the differences between the two of you, but I think she'll also be happy to meet someone similar in personality to her. I believe that you understand how hard it is to have someone you can confess all your worries to."

-"That's true."

-"Master…"

-"I'll also take you with me, Serenity."-I extended my hand to pet her head, causing a dark halo to appear.

She instantly closed her eyes to enjoy this feeling. I pet her for a while despite the sick feeling of attachment coming from her, which increased due to the halo far beyond the uncomfortable point, making my hair stand on its end. I then turned to CHALDEAS, who watched us from the side.

-"It would seem that this time, we can bid farewell properly."

-"Indeed."-Reines nodded and smiled her cold smile.-"But you still can't end something without being beaten black and blue."

-"If I managed to defeat Solomon at first try, wouldn't your job be lost?"-I shrugged.

-"Heh, just admit you can't do so."-Rin scoffed at my explanation.

-"Sister…"-Sakura looked at her with a gaze telling her to stop being tsundere.

-"Pff. And I expected something intelligent to come from your mouth, silly me."-Luvia shook her head.

-"Good to see your friendship is still strong."-I smiled at their usual interaction.

-"Sir…"-The girl with purple hair called out to me.

-"Oh? You are Mash, if I remember correctly. What can I do for you?"

-"This…"-She handed me an envelope.

-"Oh! Mash wanted to pass something to you. She was asked to give it to you by Jeanne."

-"Jeanne?"-I took it from her.-"Thank you."

Mash just shook her head.

I then felt a gaze on the side, coming from the last of this group of CHALDEAS masters, Gray. I looked at her, not knowing what she wanted. She just looked away, not speaking at all. I shrugged and turned to the man on the screen.

-"I wish you success in your endeavors."

-"Thank you. If we even have some free time, we'll definitely visit your world."

-"Sure."

With that, they disappeared from this crumbling world. I looked at Artoria, Laqeramaline, and Serenity. They nodded after seeing my gaze, ready to leave this place. But before we could do so, I heard a familiar cry.

-"Fou!"

-"Oh? Didn't you go with your new friends?"

-"Fou."-Fou shook its head.

-"I see, so you want to follow me."

-"Fou."-They nodded.

-"Then come with me. This time, I'll make sure you are not left behind."

-"Fou!"

When I opened my eyes back in real Britain, I felt that everything that happened in that Singularity was real. The spear I was just holding disappeared, its power now inside me. When I turned around to look at Artoria and Gawain, I found their eyes looking at me full of shock.

-"Eno… You…"

-"Don't worry, I'm still me. You can say that everything is even better than good."-I showed her my right hand, now devoid of any curse.

-"Thank god."-She sighed in relief, her subconscious prayer reaching me.

-"Right."-I took out shards of my Carian Sword, handing it to her.-"Now we are equal. I also broke the sword that started my journey."

She looked at the broken fragments, her eyes complicated, but a smile appeared on her face.

-"Indeed, we are equal."-She then looked around.-"What about the spear?"

I extended my left arm, the standard manifesting in my grasp. The golden and white light interwaved, forming the shaft, with a spear-like head and heel. The flag waved slightly in the wind, not hindering the spear's movement due to being made from the light. Artoria watched it with interest, feeling that its power was no less than her sword.

-"Can you tell its name? My sword is named Excalibur."

-"The spear is called Rhongomyniad, but the flag is known as Luminosité Eternelle."-I told her directly.

-"Oh? That sounds…"

-"French?"-I smiled.-"It's something that belonged to a French Saintes from a different timeline."

-"I see. But I think you also changed."

-"You did so too when you took the sword, hadn't you?"

-"Indeed, I have seen through many things."-She nodded, her expression no longer showing that slight doubt about her path.

-"I took something from the Planet, marking my existence as more than just an outsider."

She didn't understand my words fully, but still nodded, happy for me. Before we decided to return I decided to do one more thing. I waved my hand, creating a crystalline cross imbued with a simple sentence.

[Here, King took the sword of mankind into his hands; may the victory always be by his side.]

After that we didn't spend much more time here; Artoria only received the scabbard Avalon from the fairies, and we started our return journey. When we returned to Gloucester, Gawain decided to help with preparations for the trial, while I took Artoria to Azure Dream, deciding to have her meet with the other her.

But there, an unexpected thing occurred. When two Artorias met, they froze, strange fluctuations appearing from them. When they 'woke up' I felt that they became identical though they appearance still differed. I furrowed my brows, about to ask what happened, but Artoria spoke up first.

-"You were right, we are indeed the same person."-She laughed slightly, referring to what I said when I met the Lion King.

-"You mean…"

-"I received memories from that Singularity, and parts of the past from that timeline. I believe that 'Lion King' is now similar to what happened to your friend who helped you, a part of me that can appear by your side."-Artoria explained.

-"I see."-I sighed lightly.

-"Disappointed there won't be two of me?"

-"You can say that. I was worried about how it would play out, but I never expected something like that. But those memories are you…"

-"You are the last person who has the right to worry about someone absorbing memories, Eno."-She rolled her eyes.-"But I'm ok, a little shaken about everything that awaited me without you, after all, hearing it and experiencing it are two different things."

-"Please be careful."

-"I will. I'll rest for a moment to get my thoughts in order."

-"Sure."-I walked her back to her room before heading to my office.

On my way there, I encountered Shining, and I stopped her to ask her for some help. I explained some things that happened and had Serenity appear before her.

-"This is?"

-"Serenity. I hope you can take care of her, as due to her special circumstances, she can't exactly appear in the light."

-"An assassin?"-She looked at the young girl who appeared by my side.-"Sure, I'll have her make herself useful."

Soon, only I was left, well, there was Fou sleeping in my hood. As there were things to do, I decided to return to my office and work on everything before the trial began. I managed to go through the documents that had been gathered due to my two-day absence, and as I was about to continue, there was a knock. Looking up, I saw Mostima entering inside, closing the doors while her eyes looked around me with surprise.

-"Your wings?"

-"Got a few more."-I smiled and moved them, causing not only my three pairs of visible wings to spread, but also the other 66 wings in other dimensions to project their shadows here.

-"Not bad, makes you look more like a god."-She commented as she approached me and sat on my knees.-"But I feel that the biggest change occurred here."-She placed her hand on my chest.

-"Indeed. I'm no longer like god, I'm god."-I smirked, looking at her using my own divinity.-"So how does my priestess plan to celebrate this ascension?"

-"Like that."-She leaned in, making me understand why the doors got locked.
