"Balance Breaker!"
A divine halo appeared behind Cao Cao, and seven orbs the size of bowling balls began to orbit him. This was the Polar Night Longinus Chakra Valatin, the ultimate form of the True Longinus.
Cao Cao, wanting to earn Ethan's respect, began to explain his seven abilities:
Chatra Ratana: Destroys the opponent's strongest weapon.
Itthi Ratana: Seals the abilities of any women on the field.
Assa Ratana: Allows instant teleportation of himself or the enemy.
Mani Ratana: Absorbs an attack and redirects it.
Hatti Ratana: Grants flight.
Parinayaka Ratana: Creates multiple clones.
Cakka Ratana: Pure, massive destructive power.
Ethan didn't bother using his boosted gear, rendering the first three powers useless. He let Cao Cao strike seven times, testing the legendary spear. He was disappointed. The destructive power was barely enough to scratch his skin, and the redirection ability had a clear ceiling—it couldn't handle divine-level force.
"Is that all?" Ethan asked, looking at his slightly torn sleeve. "If so, run away now. I'm not even interested enough to hunt you."
Cao Cao's heart sank. "What... what kind of monster are you?"
"I'm a Dragon God," Ethan replied casually. "Stronger than Great Red."
The revelation shook Cao Cao to his core. He realized then why the gap was so vast. Desperate, he began chanting a dark incantation. A massive magic circle opened on the bridge, summoning a giant cross with a twisted creature—half dragon, half fallen angel—nailed to it.
"This is the Dragon Eater, Samael," Cao Cao explained, gasping for air. "The ultimate dragon-slaying weapon, borrowed from Hades himself."
In Ethan's mind, the dragon Ddraig tried to scream a warning, but Ethan silenced him. He had already refined his soul to the point where he controlled the Longinus, not the other way around. He had even sealed away all the male souls of previous hosts, keeping only the beautiful female ones for "conversation."
"A dragon-slaying weapon?" Ethan mocked. "I told you, I'm a Dragon God. My human side isn't 'assimilated' by dragon blood—I dominate the dragon blood."
"Eat him!" Cao Cao commanded.
Samael fired a beam of black light that engulfed Ethan, making a sickening slurping sound as it tried to drain his life force. Ethan stood there, bored. The amount of "dragon concept" in him was so small that the attack was like a mosquito bite.
Ethan walked through the beam and punched Cao Cao square in the chest. Despite blocking with the True Longinus, the impact sent Cao Cao flying, coughing up mouthfuls of blood.
Ethan looked at the spear. He liked its design, but he didn't kill Cao Cao yet. He knew the Hero Faction were just pawns for Hades and the Underworld's darker schemes.
"I'll be taking the Dragon Eater," Ethan said.
"Cough... I don't think so..." Cao Cao gasped, using the spear to stay upright. The cross vanished back into a magic circle; it was a one-time summon.
"Fine. It was ugly anyway." Ethan rubbed his chin. He decided to use Cao Cao as a messenger. "I'll spare you if you give Ophis a message."
"What message?"
"Tell her I've found a way for her to go home. Tell her to come find me."
Ethan realized that as a Dragon God, he couldn't just wait for problems to come to him. He needed to deal with Hades and the Underworld directly before they could hurt Ophis or Lilith (Rizevim's target).
He had become the strongest force in the world. It was time to stop being the target and start being the hunter. But first, he needed to have a very long, very "intimate" talk with Ophis and Great Red to coordinate their next move.
