Xu Mengyao glanced at Lin Chen.
He had booked the hotel room on the way, a king-sized bed.
"Honey, is there a problem?" Lin Chen asked with a cheerful smile.
Xu Mengyao pouted. "No problem. Today's your birthday, you're the boss. Everything's fine."
"Qianqian, it's still early. You can lie in bed a little longer."
"Daddy, I need to pee," Lin Xiaoqian said.
After using the toilet, Lin Chen placed her back in bed.
It was only six in the morning. After he sang her a lullaby for a while, Lin Xiaoqian fell asleep sweetly.
"You worked hard, honey. You should get some rest too," Xu Mengyao said.
"What about you, my love?" Lin Chen asked.
Xu Mengyao blushed. "I need to use the bathroom."
Lin Chen lay down.
He closed his eyes, but he didn't fall asleep. With his constitution, going without sleep for days was no problem.
Ten minutes later, Xu Mengyao came out of the bathroom and saw that Lin Chen's eyes were closed, and he seemed to be asleep.

*My husband seems to be getting even more handsome,* Xu Mengyao thought to herself.
Before, she'd only thought Lin Chen was "kind of handsome." Now, his looks and aura surpassed most handsome men.
Gradually, Xu Mengyao's heart rate slowed.
As long as they didn't undress and with Lin Xiaoqian between them, she could accept sharing a bed.

"Qianqian, hurry and get dressed!" Xu Mengyao said, quickly getting out of bed. "After breakfast, we're going to climb Mount Tai!"
Around nine o'clock, the family arrived at the Red Gate of Mount Tai.
The weather was perfect today—overcast and cool, ideal for mountain climbing compared to a scorching sunny day.
"Mommy, Daddy, let's race!" Lin Xiaoqian said in her sweet, childish voice.
She skipped ahead of Lin Chen and Xu Mengyao, her steps light and cheerful.
Lin Chen held Xu Mengyao's hand as they followed, some onlookers casting envious glances their way. *What a life winner!* they thought. *Such a beautiful wife and such a cute daughter—he's got it all.*
"Qianqian, slow down!"
"Qianqian—!"
Lin Chen called out to her from time to time.
Five minutes later, the system thoughtfully began awarding climbing experience points.
"Honey, how long will the round trip take?" Xu Mengyao asked. "Can we get back down before dark?"
"Who said we're going down today?" Lin Chen replied. "I booked a room at the summit hotel. After we climb and pray, we'll stay the night and watch the sunrise tomorrow morning."
Xu Mengyao's eyes lit up. She loved the idea of watching the sunrise together.
"How many rooms did you book?"
"Rooms at the summit are scarce. I only managed to get one."
"How many beds?"
"Two."
Xu Mengyao breathed a sigh of relief. *Good, good.*
"It's a family suite," Lin Chen explained. "There's a large bed and a fun, themed kids' nook perfect for a child."
Xu Mengyao: "..." "Ring ring!"
Lin Chen's phone rang—a video call from his mother.
He quickly answered.
"Happy birthday, son."
"Hmm, where are you, son?" Chen Mei, Lin Chen's mother, asked.
Lin Chen smiled. "Mom, we're at Mount Tai. Mengyao, Qianqian, and I came to climb the mountain and pray for blessings."
As he spoke, he turned the phone to Xu Mengyao.
"Hello, Mom," Xu Mengyao said hastily.
"Hey there!" Chen Mei replied with a warm smile.
Lin Chen picked up Lin Xiaoqian.
"Grandma, what are you doing? Where's Grandpa?" Lin Xiaoqian asked in her sweet, childish voice.
Lin Hai quickly appeared on screen. "Qianqian, Grandpa's here."
"Grandpa!" Lin Xiaoqian called out sweetly.
"Dad," Lin Chen and Xu Mengyao said in unison.
Lin Hai responded with a smile.
Chen Mei: "Son, be careful while hiking with Mengyao and Qianqian. If they get hurt, your father and I won't let you off the hook when you get back."
"We'll be careful, Grandma!" Lin Xiaoqian promised.
After a brief chat, Lin Chen ended the video call.
"Daddy, put me down."
"I have plenty of energy left. I want to climb myself."
Lin Xiaoqian said stubbornly.
"Alright."
Lin Chen set her down.
About twenty minutes passed.
"Daddy, are we almost there? I'm running out of power."
Lin Chen smiled. "Qianqian, Mount Tai is different from the little hills we usually climb. It's very, very tall and takes a long time to ascend."
"But you don't need to worry."
"If you get tired, Daddy can carry you, or we can stop and rest."
Lin Xiaoqian hugged Lin Chen's leg. "Daddy, I want a hug."
Lin Chen picked her up.
"Qianqian, didn't you say you had plenty of energy?" Xu Mengyao teased from the side.
Lin Xiaoqian blinked. "Daddy has more energy."
The three continued their ascent.
Occasionally, Lin Chen still shared climbing tips, which kept the system feeding him experience points.
He had accumulated fifteen hours of climbing experience and estimated he would reach twenty hours by the summit.
Twenty hours would make him a Grandmaster.
At that point, Lin Xiaoqian's climbing talent would double.
While this talent boost didn't improve her physical constitution, it would still be a significant advantage for her.
