The three men—Lin Chen, Hail, and Yu Heyan—sit down for a meal prepared by Lin Chen.
Before eating, Hail eagerly photographs every dish because each one looks like a work of art.
As soon as they take their first bites, both Hail and Yu Heyan are stunned.
Yu Heyan had already believed Lin Chen's cooking was unmatched, but realizes Lin Chen's culinary skills have improved even further. Hail, despite having tasted countless delicacies from around the world, says this is the first meal that feels like it touches his soul.
He repeatedly praises the food as nothing short of a miracle.
"This isn't cuisine. It's a miracle."
He even declares that Lin Chen must be a messenger of God.
Lin Chen laughs and explains that he is simply Chinese and has nothing to do with Hail's religion.
A Reservation Worth Millions
After the meal, Hail asks to reserve another dinner next month.
Lin Chen explains that:
More than a dozen people have already booked. He will probably only cook three tables next month. Reservations are selected according to his own rules.
Hail then offers an astonishing price:

After lunch, Yu Heyan packs the leftovers, unwilling to waste even a single bite.
As the three walk outside—

Lin Chen suddenly grabs Hail and pulls him aside.
A sniper's bullet strikes exactly where Hail had been standing moments earlier.
Without Lin Chen's quick reaction, Hail would have been killed instantly.
The bodyguards immediately shout:
"Enemy attack!"
They begin searching for the sniper.
The shot came from a rooftop 500–600 meters away, making an immediate capture extremely difficult.
Yu Heyan turns pale, while Hail is shaken.
Lin Chen, however, remains calm.
Thanks to his greatly enhanced physique and martial arts ability, he is confident that long-range sniping poses little threat to him.
The Drone Swarm Goes Into Action
Lin Chen quietly puts on a pair of smart glasses stored in his system space.
He gives a voice command:
"Swarm Four, activate."
Inside the second floor of his private restaurant, four intelligent drones immediately power on.
His drone deployments are:

He issues another command:
One drone stays behind. Three drones fly toward the suspected sniper position about 500–600 meters northwest. Locate anyone carrying a firearm. Subdue the target immediately. The Sniper Is Found
On the rooftop, the assassin is dismantling his sniper rifle after missing his shot.
As a highly trained operative, he is confident he can escape.
Before he can leave, however, one drone reaches him.
Lin Chen's smart glasses identify him as a highly suspicious target, highlighting him in red.
The assassin draws a pistol and fires at the approaching drone.
The AI instantly upgrades him from "suspect" to confirmed hostile target.
Two more drones arrive.
The assassin successfully shoots down one drone.
But another crashes into him and releases a fast-acting anesthetic.
Realizing what's happening, he tries to raise his pistol and kill himself before being captured.
Unfortunately, the anesthetic works too quickly.
Within moments, he loses consciousness.
Lin Chen's smart glasses display:
Target neutralized. Continue searching for additional suspicious targets?
