Full Body Take Over: Nagato!
Takeshi's body began to change.
Jura and the other two couldn't help but tense up. They all knew Takeshi's ability—by taking over different characters, he could wield their powers.
During the first day of the Grand Magic Games, when he'd fought Jura as Itachi, that form had been terrifyingly strong.
In moments, Takeshi's black hair turned crimson, a red robe draped over him and his skin turned deathly pale.
Most striking were his eyes: violet irises ringed with concentric circles—those eyes were clearly no ordinary pair.
"What kind of transformation is that?!"
"A new form?!!"
"What powers will this one have?"
The Fairy Tail mages were stunned. Every time they turned around, Takeshi pulled out another transformation, and every single one was monstrously powerful. Each of Takeshi's forms was a powerhouse in its own right.
Jura watched him warily. He knew Takeshi had aces up his sleeve. If he had brought out a form capable of facing all three of them, it had to be strong—strong enough to defeat them.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, let's continue." Takeshi smiled at the trio.
Minerva said, "We'll find out what it can do."
Seeing him switch forms actually heartened Minerva. The previous one had been a nightmare, nullifying everything they threw at it. A new form meant her magic might finally land.
Territory Explosion!
Minerva gathered magic power between her hands and released a blast of magic.
Iron Rock Pillars!
Jura thrust out his palm. Stone columns erupted around Takeshi, then bent inward to Crush him.
Slice Kata!
Kagura sent a slashing strike at Takeshi.
Facing the three-pronged assault, Takeshi stood calmly.
Shinra Tensei!
BOOM!
A terrifying repulsive force burst from his body. The three incoming attacks disintegrated before they could touch him.
The ground shattered next, huge slabs of earth hurled sky-high.
"Ughhhhhh!"
"Ahhhhh!"
"Whoaahhh!"
None of the three had expected such a backlash. It felt like a colossal hammer had smashed into them, flinging them backward.
Boom... Boom...
The relentless repulsion shredded buildings.
One Shinra Tensei cleared every structure within a hundred meters.
[What… what was that?! One move—just one—and Minerva, Kagura, and Jura were all blown away! Did he just wipe them out?!]
Crash!
The three slowly rose from the rubble, bruised but still battle-ready.
Yet the look in their eyes had changed. That instantaneous surge of power had been so overwhelming they hadn't even time to cast.
"Another monster!"
Fairy Tail's side knew at a glance: Takeshi had taken over yet another monstrous character.
Spectators in the stands were left speechless.
"Let's enjoy this properly." Takeshi said with a smile.
He pressed his palm to the ground.
Summoning Jutsu!
Poof! Poof!
As clouds of smoke erupted, three titanic beasts appeared beside him.
A two-headed Hell-hound, a massive rhinoceros, and an enormous centipede.
[What?! Takeshi just called forth three colossal creatures!!!]
"Take them down."
At his command, the summons sprang into action: the Hell-hound charged Kagura, the centipede raced at Minerva, and the Rhino barreled toward Jura.
"Hmph! You think these things can beat me?"
Kagura wasn't fazed. Days earlier, she'd cleaved through Ophiuchus Yukino had summoned.
Slash!
Though she hadn't even drawn her blade, a huge gash opened across the Hell-hound.
Just as Kagura thought it finished, a new head regenerated from the wound.
"What?!" Her face paled.
Unfazed, the hound lunged with three snapping jaws.
Kagura leapt back.
CRUNCH!
The triple heads tore a massive chunk out of the ground—anyone caught in those jaws would be bitten clean in half.
Kagura's expression darkened.
[Terrifying! Takeshi's creature not only survived her slash but grew a new head!]
"Amazing!" Yukino stared wide-eyed.
On the second day of the Grand Magic Games, Kagura had one-shot her Ophiuchus. Yet Takeshi had summoned three creatures that could take Kagura's strike and keep fighting.
"Takeshi can summon too?!" Lucy was dumbstruck.
And his summons looked ridiculously powerful. Yukino's Ophiuchus had already surpassed the zodiac keys, yet Takeshi's beasts were clearly stronger.
"Stop stealing Lucy's spotlight!" Happy quipped.
Iron Rock Wall!
Jura flicked a finger and a towering wall rose before him.
BOOM—
The Rhino smashed straight through it.
Iron Rock Fist!
Unperturbed, Jura formed a gigantic stone fist beside him.
BOOM—
Fist and horn collided.
CRACK—
The rock fist cracked at the point of impact, then crumbled.
"What?!" Jura's eyes widened.
He hadn't expected his fist to be shattered, but he recovered quickly, dodging as the beast burst through.
The Rhino skidded to a halt.
Boom... Boom...
Buildings toppled in its wake as it pawed the ground, then charged Jura again.
Territory Explosion!
Boom... Boom...
Minerva bombarded the centipede with spells, but its armored shell was too tough. Her magic couldn't breach it, and she was forced to keep retreating.
The centipede rushed at Minerva, ready to strike.
Swish!
Minerva swapped places with a boulder.
Crack—
The centipede ground the stone to dust.
"Damn it!"
Minerva's face darkened as she glanced at Kagura and Jura.
Slice Kata!
Kagura's sword was already out. A single sweep lopped off one of the Cerberus's heads, yet the three-headed hound instantly sprouted a fourth.
"What on earth is going on?!"
Kagura's expression stiffened. She had never faced anything so troublesome—every wound she dealt only multiplied its heads.
Iron Rock Pillars!
Jura raised a finger. A thick pillar burst from the ground beneath the Rhino and caught it under the chin.
Rumble—
The Rhino was flipped, but before Jura could breathe, it righted itself and charged again.
"So persistent!'
Jura found the beast exasperating. His spells barely scratched its thick hide, while a single charge from it could cripple him.
