Chapter 303 - Seven Dragons

"July 7th, huh..."

After Gajeel heard the bell, an unidentifiable look flashed through his eyes.

"This is the day the dragons disappeared, isn't it?"

Levy had long since heard that Gajeel's Dragon, Natsu's Dragon, and Wendy's Dragon had all disappeared on this day, July 7th.

"Will Dragons appear on a day like this?"

"Igneel will come back with them, right?"

Natsu's face was full of anticipation. Although there might be enemies among the ten thousand Dragons, it would be best if Igneel came back with them.

Makarov gave the order, "We, Fairy Tail, will be responsible for guarding Central Park."

Warren asked, "What about the people from the other guilds?"

Max said, "They are all on standby around the city streets."

"By the way, that moon is creepy."

"An eclipse?"

Laxus looked up. The moon in the sky had already turned blood-red.

Rumble—

The Eclipse Gate slowly opened.

"Look!"

"Ooh!"

"The gate of humanity's hope has opened!"

"The gate to victory has opened!"

All the soldiers cheered as they saw the gate being opened.

Hisui breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the gate open. "This way, we just have to wait for the Dragon swarm to arrive, and then..."

Suddenly—

"Roar!"

A roar rang out.

"What's happening?"

"It's from the castle's direction."

"Has that Eclipse been activated?"

Everyone in the city of Crocus speculated as they heard the sound coming from the palace.

At that moment, a massive dragon suddenly stepped out from the Eclipse Gate.

"A dragon... from the gate..."

Hisui's pupils shrank at the sight, and the color instantly drained from her face.

"Roar—"

The dragon that emerged looked up at the sky and let out a loud roar. A powerful shockwave was generated out of thin air.

"Waaah!"

"Ughhh!"

The surrounding soldiers were all blown away by the forceful impact.

Rumble!

The ground exploded with a bang, constantly shattering.

The dragon fully emerged from the Eclipse Gate and raised its claw to strike the ground.

Boom... Boom...

A terrifying shockwave was released, crushing countless buildings along its path.

Crackle—

The shockwave passed right by Fairy Tail, its terrifying power startling everyone.

"What was that just now?!"

"Was it a dragon?"

"In the direction of the castle!"

Inside the Fiore Palace.

"To think it's strong... to this extent..."

"You've got to be kidding. How can we possibly defeat something like that!"

All the soldiers were terrified at the sight of the giant Dragon. Such a monster was simply not something they could contend with.

"Another one came out!"

"What on earth is going on?! Another Dragon has appeared!"

Hisui's eyes were vacant now. "Ten thousand dragons... are actually coming out of the gate. I was deceived... it's all my fault. Because of my poor decision-making, the world has met its end."

The Captain of the Knights hurriedly said, "Princess, don't think about who is right or wrong now. The primary task is to prioritize closing the gate. Go close the gate, quickly!"

The Captain of the Knights gave the order to the soldiers.

The soldiers immediately pulled the lever, but the giant Dragons appeared one after another. Even with several soldiers putting in every ounce of strength, they couldn't close the gate.

Just then—

Cursed Technique Reversal: Red!

A small red orb shot straight over, hitting the next dragon that was trying to come out.

"Awooo!"

The dragon let out a cry of pain and was knocked back.

"Ooh! It's Takeshi-san!"

"Takeshi-san is here!"

Takeshi had shown great prowess during the Grand Magic Games and today demonstrated terrifying strength, all the soldiers naturally recognized him.

"Tsk! Still arrived late."

Hearing the dragon's voice in the palace, Takeshi finally remembered the relevant plot. He immediately transformed into Gojo Satoru and teleported over.

Seeing that these people were still dazed, the Captain of the Knights shouted, "You lot, hurry up and close the gate!"

The soldiers finally snapped out of it and rushed forward.

Without the dragon's obstruction, the soldiers responsible for closing the gate immediately pulled down the lever while the others pushed the gate with all their might.

Rumble!

The Eclipse Gate slowly closed.

"It's closed!"

"Ooh! We did it!"

The soldiers all cheered.

The Captain of the Knights shouted loudly, "It's too early to celebrate! How many dragons got out?!"

"There are seven!"

"Seven..."

The Captain of the Knights' expression was very grim. Just one dragon was already this powerful, seven Dragons was simply unimaginable.

"You've ruined my plans. But seven is enough, any more and I wouldn't be able to control them anyway."

A man dressed in black and white clothes walked out.

"Who are you?!"

The Captain of the Knights barked at the newcomer.

"That person... is the... person from the future who told me about the future."

Hearing this, the Captain of the Knights immediately raised his sword and pointed it at the newcomer. "So it was you who deceived Her Highness the Princess!"

Future Rogue's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Listen well, foolish people. The era of humans now comes to an end, and the era of dragons is about to begin."

"Takeshi-san! Please help us! Kill these giant dragons!"

Hisui saw Takeshi as her savior. She had watched the match during the day. The five members of Sabertooth had attacked together and couldn't cause even a scratch on Takeshi.

Takeshi was undoubtedly the strongest Mage in Fiore—no, even in the entire continent of Ishgar. His strength would surely be enough to eliminate the dragons.

Hearing Hisui ask Takeshi for help, others also began to plead for him to take action and eliminate the dragons.

Seeing these dragons, Takeshi felt a bit of trouble.

Dragons could be said to be creatures standing at the peak of this world—high attack, high defense, high health. Each one could be considered a BOSS among BOSSes.

These dragons weren't like the weakling dragon he had encountered before.

"Takeshi, is it? Who are you? In the timeline I come from, you don't exist at all." Future Rogue frowned as he looked at Takeshi.

Takeshi's strength was too great. He had seen it, but in his timeline, what happened didn't match what he was seeing at all. In his timeline, Takeshi didn't exist.

"Who am I? I'm just an ordinary member of Fairy Tail." Takeshi's eyebrows twitched at Future Rogue's words.

It seemed his transmigration didn't affect the future, or rather, the other party and he were just in parallel worlds. The other party had traveled to a parallel space-time through the Eclipse Gate.
