From the sky, even as the mech suit streaked forward like a comet without looking back, through his stationed C-5 drones, Leon saw as the earth crumbled and he finally saw what emerged from it.
The first thing Leon saw was a gigantic circular maw, a maw that was more than 100 meters wide, lined with thousands upon thousands of long and sharp triangular grey teeth.
Within that maw was an ancient darkness, an ancient darkness whose mere sight of filled Leon with dread.
An ancient darkness of potent corruption and corrosion.
Leon felt like if he was swallowed into that maw, he would be corroded and digested in mere seconds to a bloody smudge!
As the maw moved, it snapped, the thousands of long sharp teeth lining it grinding against each other with devastating power, crushing earth, steel, and rocks into dust without discrimination.
As the maw emerged out of the ground, it also dove into the sky, clearly going after the mech suit that was now streaking across the sky.
