By around ten in the morning, Professor McGonagall finally arrived at the Black Family Mansion.
The Black Family Mansion is located at Number 12 Grimmauld Square, originally a row house owned by a handsome Muggle in London.
At some later time, an early member of the Black Clan coveted this pretty house, managing to "persuade" the original Muggle to move out, and then placed a Muggle-Repelling Charm on the house.
Because this house is protected by a Muggle-Repelling Charm, it remains invisible to Muggles, and therefore Muggle residents living nearby have long grown accustomed to the "ridiculous mistake" of Number 11 being right next to Number 13.
But Professor McGonagall is a Wizard, so she wouldn't be puzzled by why Number 11 is right next to Number 13.
As she reached the stairs, Professor McGonagall was startled by the heads of House-Elves hanging on the wall.
"Merlin's beard!" Professor McGonagall patted her chest, looking quite frightened.
Little Sirius chuckled, glanced at the Little Elf heads hanging on the wall, and said to Professor McGonagall, "Barbaric, isn't it? This act? This was a family tradition started by my great aunt Eradola Black: when House-Elves get too old to carry trays, they chop off their heads and hang them on the wall... You could say many House-Elves in the Black family take pride in this."
Eradola Black was Phineas Black's sister, which indeed makes her equivalent to Little Sirius's great aunt by relation.
Roughly equivalent to Cassandra and Draco's relationship, nearly so.
"It certainly is… very…"
Professor McGonagall looked up at the Little Elf heads with lingering fear, but her good upbringing made it impossible for her to express her opinion on these acts.
After all, one cannot criticize someone's ancestors in front of their descendants, right?
"But I admire her." Little Sirius said again, "I admire my great aunt Eradola for coming up with such a grotesque method…"
"It's not grotesque, young master who recently reversed the family's reputation in front of the mistress."
The bullfrog-like voice suddenly appeared, and Little Sirius didn't need to look to know it was Kreacher.
"Merlin, is that a Yin Corpse?"
Professor McGonagall was shocked once again; she stared at it, but found this Yin Corpse somewhat familiar.
"This…" Professor McGonagall frowned and said, "Is he… is he Regulus Black?"
"Kreacher!" Little Sirius barked, "How did you bring him out! Hurry and take him back!"
Kreacher mumbled to himself, muttering about letting the young master fully absorb sunlight, and how a walk is better for the body, ignoring the fact that his young master wanted to bite him with an open mouth.
But every time Regulus bit, Kreacher could dodge it with a not-quite-scientific angle.
"As you see, Professor McGonagall." Little Sirius sighed, "This is my brother Regulus… He… well, we only recently found out he wasn't a Death Eater, but was actually a good kid lurking by the Black Demon, waiting for a chance to severely damage him… A hero."
Sirius then narrated Reuglus's tales in full detail to Professor McGonagall.
Yet he didn't notice a small black beetle parked not far away, its eyes flashing with a strange light.
"Oh, Merlin's socks…"
Professor Cat, with her immense empathy, tugged at her collar, tears streaming down: "This child… How silly, how kind… I truly can't believe that a Wizard from a Pure-blood Family would hold such fondness for Little Elves, a group considered inferior in Pure-blood Wizards' eyes… Never thought, he would betray You-Know-Who…"
"Sigh…" Little Sirius also sighed, "That's just how things are, but we do have another urgent matter at hand right now."
"Is it about Regulus?" Professor McGonagall wiped away tears with a handkerchief, "Feel free to tell me, Little Sirius, after all, I was once Regulus's professor, I'll do my best to help where I can."
"It's not about Regulus. Miss Grindelwald has something important to tell you, which had an initial discussion with you last night…"
As soon as Little Sirius finished his sentence, Professor McGonagall remembered what it was about.
She nodded and said to Little Sirius, "If it's about that matter, I think it's better done sooner rather than later, let's meet Miss Grindelwald right now."
They walked together to the living room, where Professor McGonagall saw Vivi engrossed in a book on a chair, Dumbledore pretending to read dejectedly, and Ron quietly explaining the basics of Wizard Chess to Hermione.
"Good morning, Professor McGonagall."
Hermione was the first to notice Professor McGonagall's arrival, as a Gryffindor student, she would naturally send her greetings proactively.
Moreover, Professor McGonagall had always been fond of her.
"Ah, Hermione, good morning to you as well." Professor McGonagall nodded slightly, exchanged greetings with everyone in the room, then sat beside Vivi, directly facing Dumbledore.
Dumbledore raised his book to his face, trying to avoid Professor McGonagall's gaze.
"This is the plan I've drawn up." Vivi handed several sheets to Professor McGonagall, "Look, Professor, here's the detailed control plan, to prevent Professor Dumbledore from encountering any undesirable issues due to excessive sugar intake."
