After completely withdrawing from his Perfect Form, Cell knew he was on the verge of defeat.
Goku stepped forward calmly, while Cell retreated step by step, fear evident in his eyes.
In this state, not even Piccolo could protect him.
Goku suddenly grabbed Cell and, in an instant, they vanished into space.
Cell looked around in shock. "Goku… you can survive in space?!"
He had never imagined Goku could endure the vacuum of space, and the realization made him even more terrified.
Facing Goku now felt like throwing an egg at a mountain—hopeless.
Yet Cell had no idea of Goku's true purpose: forcing him to transform into Lightning Cell.
Goku needed a challenge to push himself. Without it, the battle would be meaningless.

Goku raised his hand and formed a ball of energy aimed at Cell.
Boom~~
Whether or not Cell would transform into Lightning Cell was irrelevant to Goku.
To him, it was merely a seasoning, a trivial step in preparing for the real fight.
Once back on Earth, the Z Warriors gathered around.
Krillin patted Goku's shoulder with admiration. "Goku, you really are amazing. You've completely defeated Cell!"
"Yeah! You're incredible!" Yamcha cheered.
Tien Shinhan said nothing, but his expression spoke volumes.
Piccolo asked cautiously, "Goku… did you take Cell into space and finish him?!"
Goku nodded with a smile. "Yeah."
Piccolo didn't question it further. As long as Cell was neutralized, nothing else mattered.
Goku turned to Krillin. "Give me a Senzu Bean."
"Of course!" Krillin handed it over without hesitation.
Anything Goku asked, Krillin supported unconditionally. After all, Goku was still Earth's savior.
Goku fed the Senzu Bean to No. 18, and the android immediately regained consciousness.
No. 16 approached and explained what had happened while she was unconscious.
Grateful, No. 18 said, "Thank you, Goku. Without you, I would probably be dead."
Even as an artificial human, No. 18 still possessed genuine human emotions.

What no one realized was that Goku's rescue of No. 18 also served another purpose. he intended to keep her close.
Looking up at the sky, Goku smiled. Cell had lived, and that meant the potential for Lightning Cell still existed.
Piccolo noticed and asked, "Goku… why are you looking at the sky?"
"That Cell isn't gone yet. He's probably undergone some breakthrough. His power has increased," Goku replied vaguely, omitting his real strategy.
The Z Warriors were shocked. They had never expected that Cell, defeated by Goku, could revive so quickly.
Yet despite their surprise, they were not worried. With Goku present, they knew Cell would ultimately be stopped.

No. 18 shivered, afraid of being absorbed again. Having just experienced it, her fear was understandable.
No. 16 reassured her seriously, "Don't worry. Goku won't let Cell absorb you again. He went to great lengths to save you just now."
No. 18 turned her gaze to Goku, finally taking him seriously.
Meanwhile, in space, the Cell Chip reactivated.
Cell was restored to his original Complete Form, even more powerful than before, his body now crackling with electricity reminiscent of Super Saiyan 2 energy.
Cell laughed excitedly. "Haha! My power has increased even more. Goku, now you'll see what true hell is!"
Floating above the ground, Cell felt unstoppable. He no longer feared Goku, his confidence renewed by the surge in strength.
Moments later, Lightning Cell returned to the battlefield, landing in front of Goku. Arrogantly, he said, "Goku, let's start a new round!"
The battle was about to reach a whole new level.
