Seeing Gohan transform, Dabura was stunned. "I didn't expect your combat power to increase so drastically after transforming."
"You'll see once we fight," Gohan replied confidently.
His transformation into a Super Saiyan gave him a surge of confidence.
Piccolo smiled. "Gohan can definitely win now. As long as he fights seriously, he still has a chance."
Vegeta remained silent but fixed his eyes on Gohan, assessing his newfound strength.
Goku grinned. "Gohan and Dabura have similar fighting abilities. The winner will depend on who has better fighting skills. And if things are still undecided in half an hour, Vegeta, you can step in and finish Dabura."
"Tsk." Vegeta scowled. "Kakarot, don't order me around—or don't blame me if I start a fight with you right here."
Supreme Kai Shin sighed. "Why are you so careless? The enemy we're facing is extremely powerful."
While Goku and the others talked, the battle resumed.
Super Saiyan Gohan was far more threatening than before.
Dabura blocked Gohan's relentless attacks while simultaneously searching for an opening to strike.
After all, only by hurting these fighters could Majin Buu gather the energy he needed.
Dabura quickly realized that Gohan's power after transforming rivaled his own.
Anxiety crept in—especially with four observers, including Supreme Kai Shin, watching the fight closely.
Gohan noticed Dabura's distraction. "Dabura! Focus! Are you getting distracted? Do you look down on me?"
"I'll fight seriously now," Dabura replied. He refocused, knowing he couldn't cause significant damage otherwise.
Seeing Dabura finally concentrating, Gohan smiled with satisfaction. He accelerated and launched a flurry of combo attacks.
This Gohan wasn't the academically-inclined Gohan from years ago.
Though his power hadn't reached original levels, years of training with Piccolo had honed his combat instincts to a dangerous degree.
Dabura had a difficult challenge ahead.
The fight switched rapidly between offense and defense, sky to ground. Neither fighter could gain a decisive advantage.
Babidi, watching anxiously, nearly leapt out of his seat.
"Dabura! What are you doing? Finish him! If you keep dragging this out, how will Majin Buu gather enough energy to be revived?!"
Babidi's focus was entirely on resurrecting Majin Buu. Dabura's inability to quickly defeat Gohan made Babidi increasingly restless.
He began to suspect that Dabura might be holding back. Ten minutes had passed without a clear victory.
Supreme Kai Shin observed carefully. "Gohan is amazing! He's holding his own against Dabura—far beyond what I expected."
"Of course. Gohan is incredibly strong," Piccolo said confidently. His pride in his disciple was evident.
Even Supreme Kai Shin had to reconsider the situation. This group might really prevent Majin Buu's resurrection.
Vegeta tapped his fingers impatiently. "Gohan is taking too long. This battle should be over quickly."
Goku glanced at him knowingly.
Vegeta's impatience stemmed from his own immense strength—when lower-level battles drag, he perceives the opponent as inferior.
Dabura, frustrated at failing to defeat Gohan after a prolonged fight, began thinking of a new strategy.
If he could land a special attack, he could end the fight decisively.
The battle had already lasted over ten minutes. If prolonged, it could continue for hours—far from Dabura's plan.
Gohan, too, strategized, not wanting to keep his father and Piccolo waiting.
At that moment, Dabura spat at Gohan. Instinctively, Gohan dodged the saliva, but Dabura's fist landed squarely on him.
Yet the attack had no effect.
Dabura frowned. "How did you withstand my fists and avoid my saliva?"
Confusion overtook him. Normally, no one should have known his secret.
