Deep night.
Western Emperor Palace.
Celestial Martial Hall, the Emperor's sleeping quarters.
"Your Majesty, should we go to the Empress today, or to Consort Qin?"
An old eunuch asked the newly enthroned emperor Wu Heng.
Today, the former Emperor Wu Zheng passed away, the Empress is missing, and the Second Prince Wu Tai committed regicide.
The palace fell into chaos, with the Sixth Prince Wu Heng frolicking in his residence with the Imperial Consort when he was abruptly summoned to the palace.
Then, he watched wide-eyed as the newly appointed National Guardian Duke Si Minglan killed half of the ministers and then hoisted him onto the throne of the Celestial Martial Hall and sat him down.
And so, Wu Heng innocently became the new Emperor.
Before he had a chance to rejoice, he suddenly collided with the bewitching eyes of the National Guardian Duke.
From that moment on, Wu Heng's mind was filled with only one voice:
"Si Minglan is my master."
"I will listen to my master."
