The Tang family certainly doesn't lack these things, but they can do without them. Yang Chen, however, cannot come empty-handed; if he does, it would be considered impolite. This is a tradition that has been passed down in Dragon Country for thousands of years.
Just past five o'clock, Yang Chen arrived at the Tang family's large villa with Tang Xia.
Truly the hallmark of a prominent family, this is an enormous compound with three courtyards. After entering the first two gates, there are small squares, gardens, and ponds, with Dragon Country-style three-story buildings flanking each side. In the third courtyard, there are similar squares, gardens, and ponds, but the building is centrally positioned.
According to Tang Xia's introduction, all his grandfather's children live here.
Upon entering, the left building houses Aunt Tang Chengfeng's family, and the right one is Aunt Tang Chengying's family.
