"Guizi, tell me honestly, have you been advising on the village matters? Do any of the decisions include your opinions?"
Zhang Su asked solemnly.
"Well, um..."
Wang Xingui's heart skipped a beat. He exchanged a look with Wang Longzhong and said with an awkward smile, "Brother Zhang, there's a lot going on in the village, and there's no way I can take care of everything by myself. I leave some overlooked areas for my uncle to help manage, hehe."
"Is it that you can maybe handle everything, or can't handle anything at all?"
Zhang Su pressed further, his gaze fixed on the other.
"You see, it was obvious Younger Brother Zhang would figure it out. Before, there wasn't much chance to meet, no time to understand, now just a couple of questions and I'm exposed, right?"
Wang Longzhong glanced at his nephew helplessly.
Wang Xingui lowered his head, rubbed his scalp, and remained silent, stealing a sheepish glance at Zhang Su and his uncle.
"Looks like I hit the nail on the head?"
