In November of the 12th Year of Zhengyong, Xu Mujun broke through the northern city of Shanghe County in Xuzhou, killing 35,000 rebels and gathering 200,000 refugees.
On November 21st of the 12th Year of Zhengyong, Cui Xiawu broke through Jinchan City, with its defending troops voluntarily surrendering. Immediately afterwards, the army swept through the entire Jinchan County like autumn winds sweeping away fallen leaves.
On December 6th of the 12th Year of Zhengyong, Cui Xiawu broke through Liangshan City.
Liangshan City had loyal supporters of King Chen who killed civilians to hold their ground. After the city was breached, all defending troops were slain.
