North of the River Valley Ancestral Temple.
A river flows north-south, with lush waterside grasses flanking the banks, occasionally visited by a large antlered deer, which soon flees in terror.
On the east side of the riverbank, muted beastly roars occasionally echo.
Under the moonlight, figures of various sizes can be seen, either lying on the ground or sitting cross-legged.
Pairs of eyes flicker with a bloody gleam beneath the night sky.
These figures include human forms, half-human half-beast forms, and completely beast forms.
The beast forms range from bears, tigers, apes, kui, simurgh, and so on, totaling nearly a hundred.
At first glance, it truly looks as if a congregation of wild creatures is gathering.
On the west side of the river, Shen Can sits cross-legged.
The figures across the river scratch their heads and ears, unable to resist letting out guttural grunts, as their eyes constantly shift between bloodthirsty and clear consciousness.
