Chapter 322 - Chapter 322: The New Age of Magical Beast Masters

Looking at the incredibly obedient black dragons, Sebastian put one hand on his hip and leaned on his large iron shovel, laughing heartily.

He really wanted to record it and show everyone how harmoniously he got along with these black dragons.

From today onwards, if any family's dragon was disobedient, just send it over. He guaranteed that two shovels would teach it manners.

This was the true strength a real Master of Magical Creatures should possess!

Grandpa Newt's methods were still too gentle; look, he couldn't even soothe a group of black dragons.

Just as he thought of Grandpa Newt, his figure appeared within Sebastian's magical perception range.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow and instructed the dragons in front of him.

"Someone's coming. All of you behave and don't lose face."

As he spoke, his figure shifted, transforming back into his gentle and elegant appearance.

Seeing Sebastian transform back into a Wizard, the black dragons looked at him with shining eyes.

This short fellow countryman was so powerful; he could even transform into a Wizard.

What kind of ability was this?

They wanted to learn!

Soon after, Newt arrived on his broomstick. As soon as he dismounted, he eagerly asked Sebastian,

"Sebastian, my companion told me that a very violent dragon appeared here, so much so that even the black dragons were subdued. Did you see it?"

Looking at the Bowtruckle curled into an egg sac in Newt's hand, Sebastian imperceptibly curled his lip.

Violent?

Tsk—

The little thing really had no judgment. Where was it violent?

He had clearly conquered these black dragons with his bravery.

"Professor Scamander, there's no violent dragon here. These black dragons were touched by my love."

"Why don't you check these black dragons first? If they're fine, let them return to their territories."

Touched by love?

Newt looked at Sebastian suspiciously, then at the black dragons lying obediently on the large net. He felt that the other party was talking nonsense.

From what he knew, dragons were mostly untamable. In their world, the law of the jungle was the most basic rule.

Therefore, to make dragons so obedient, one had to defeat them head-on in a one-on-one physical fight. Just like when dragons competed for territory or mates, the losing party would always be obedient.

Dragon tamers couldn't achieve this simply because when they dealt with dragons, many people would rush forward at once.

In the dragons' eyes, this was pure cowardice.

Moreover, Wizards always used various spells when fighting dragons, never using physical strength to confront them directly.

This was even more of a crooked path in the dragons' code of conduct, which was why many times, even if they were defeated by a Wizard's spell, they would still act defiant, even when facing a threat to their lives.

The black dragons now were a little too obedient. This was not something that could be achieved by being touched by love.

Furthermore, his Bowtruckle had become completely quiet after arriving here, as if it was very afraid of Sebastian.

This was truly strange. Even when dealing with Grindelwald, his Bowtruckle had never been this afraid.

"Sebastian, it's good that you're okay. I was going to come and help you."

"When the black dragons collectively went wild just now, it really scared me. No matter how I tried to soothe them, it was useless. It's not their fault for going wild; it's just that the Ukrainian Ironbelly cursed so terribly."

"I was worried there would be a big mess today, but now it seems I worried too much."

As he spoke, Newt began to examine the black dragons on the large net, asking them questions in Dragonic.

And with these questions, he did indeed find out some things.

According to these dragons, Sebastian, who defeated them, was actually also a dragon, and he defeated all of them single-handedly.

In their perception, this was something only a true Dragon King in dragon legends could achieve.

Therefore, they showed submission to this fellow countryman.

Soon, the examination was over. Newt turned his head and kept scanning Sebastian with a peculiar gaze.

"Except for the black dragon that's still unconscious with a slight concussion, the other black dragons are all fine."

Slight concussion?

He had been afraid of killing these dragons, which was why he had swapped his spiked club for a large iron shovel. He hadn't expected his strikes to still be too heavy.

Fortunately, he held back his strength later, and the remaining black dragons were fine. Otherwise, Grandpa Newt would have been very busy.

Just as Sebastian was lost in thought, a remark from Newt pulled him back to reality.

"Sebastian, they want to ask you, they've already taken you as their Dragon King, so can you teach them how to transform into Wizards?"

He was careless!

Grandpa Newt knew Dragonic. He had forgotten to tell these guys to keep it a secret.

Dragon King...

Should he now twist his mouth to match this awesome title?

"What Dragon King, no Dragon King," Sebastian feigned ignorance. "If they're fine, let them all go back."

As he spoke, he waved his arm, shooing away the black dragons in front of him like flies.

The black dragons dared not delay, spreading their wings and flying away from here, though they kept looking back, radiating reluctance.

Newt's face was full of curiosity: "Sebastian, what ability did you use to make these black dragons like you so much? Can you teach me?"

"Don't worry, I won't let you teach for free. I recently had a batch of Magical Creature newborns, and I can give you one."

Magical Creature newborns?

This piqued Sebastian's interest. If the Magical Creatures were rare, it wasn't impossible to reveal his transformation secret to the other party.

Then, with a magical contract signed, he wouldn't fear Grandpa Newt revealing the secret.

"Do you have a Phoenix, Professor Scamander?"

"Phoenix..." Newt looked at Sebastian speechlessly. "Do I look like a Phoenix? I want to raise a Phoenix too."

"Then forget it! I'm only interested in Phoenixes." Sebastian shook his head, firmly rejecting Grandpa Newt.

As he spoke, he mounted his broomstick, simultaneously waving his wand, and slowly flew towards the Dragon Tamer camp with the unconscious black dragon.

"Don't rush, Sebastian," Newt flew beside Sebastian on his broomstick. "You should first hear about the Magical Creatures I have."

Actually, he had some things he hadn't said.

He didn't know why, but he now felt a special aura around Sebastian.

Could this be related to the Dragon King mentioned by the black dragons? Did the black dragons leave a mark of recognition on Sebastian?

This speculation greatly interested him, and he constantly wanted to pull Sebastian aside to study him.

However, such a request was too rude, and he really couldn't bring himself to say it.

"I have Swooping Evil, Crup, Niffler, and a baby Occamy. Aren't you tempted at all?"

Not tempted, not tempted at all!

Niffler creatures were too greedy. His home absolutely could not have a creature greedier than himself.

Moreover, these little things were very mischievous, and he didn't have that much time to train them properly.

Swooping Evil would be good pets, but they were too common. If he wanted to buy one, it would be very simple, so it wasn't worth exchanging his secret for.

Occamy were quite powerful, but they were too ugly. Ugly rejection!

As for Crup... he would ask Mia if she was interested later.
