Chapter 54 - Zombie Spider

"J-just get me down. You don't have any permission to just catch me from falling. And I'm not any 'lil prince' who gives a shit to marriage." Chóng Fēi said when he found his voice, his eyes wide more with embarrassment than fury or the pain in his arm.

The exorcist chuckled carelessly, tilting his head lightly. He loosened his grip enough to slide down smoothly. His boot touched the ground without any sound—like it wasn't wood under his feet, but damp grass.

But he didn't put him down either.

"If I release you, you might crack your poor hips this time.. while your elbow joint needs help." The exorcist said. His pale purple eyes were silently intense over him—neither fully seductive nor fully normal. As if deliberately doing exactly what kept everything on the surface yet bit clearly enough.

"I-i.." Chóng Fēi's voice caught. A tiny gasp of pain escaped. His other hand moved to his popped elbow. But he still stubbornly said what he was about to say. "I didn't tell you to drop me.." His next words were more forceful, clearing each one. "I. Told you to. Lower. Me. Carefully."

"Oh.. now I understand." The exorcist said softly, as if it was a hard command to comprehend. Then his parted lips turned into a grin. "You explain beautifully, kid."

Chóng Fēi's eye twitched at this guy's nonsense. His mouth shut tight, curses filling his mind.

'I'm scolding him and.. he just kept praising like flowers pouring out of my mouth.. not curses.'

"Shut up." He bit the words out.

He couldn't voice that this guy was really taller than him to even jump down himself. His feet couldn't reach the ground while this guy kept him in a bridal-style hold.

He really didn't want to break his hips next, while his arm felt like burning veins and muscles—like he wanted to tear his own arm off and throw it away in any bin.

"Hurts?" The exorcist asked, softer. Almost caring. But Chóng Fēi couldn't tell properly if it was mixing with mockery or something else. "Too deep in the sweet spot, or into muscles?"

Chóng Fēi parted his mouth and then shut it again. His mind was going places by that 'too deep' and 'sweet spot'. This was probably not the language that described THIS kind of pain.

'No no—where is my mind going?!'

'Is he.. flirting with me or something?!'

'Why does he.. look like a cut-sleeve?'

'But his smut face looks this way..'

His cheeks couldn't cool down, noticing too many things—and he hated that about himself more then any failure or disobedience from his disciples.

The exorcist didn't even clear the misunderstanding he was creating—perhaps intentionally.

He just adjusted his hold by lightly lifting him up into his arms with a soft sigh. His long, sea-wave-like bone-white hair—cold, pale, yellowish like an actual bone color—fell over his face, which he blew away from the side of his mouth.

The mummy-like bandages loosened a little around his neck when he swallowed faintly before tightening back to whatever he kept hidden beneath. He seemed to have soft, white-looking fur around the bandages at his neck—like a zombie spider in human form.

Something that was totally an art, but strangely got recognized really low.

"Let me give you relief." He said before Chóng Fēi could even struggle. He took him toward the round table to sit him down. Then added like it was the most normal thing in the world. "Like a wave of pleasure~"

Chóng Fēi's breath hitched—not only by every small movement that touched his pained areas, but also by the way this guy kept speaking in double meanings.

'How can even a normal 'relief' come like a 'wave of pleasure'?!'

'Of course he's playing with me because I can't flap around right now because of my arms every time.'

' This creep shows up like a ghost and roams around like I smell of honey.'

"Speak.. normally. Or don't." Chóng Fēi muttered, glaring at him through his lashes, his tone dry.

The exorcist tilted his head, his expression relaxed as he just raised his hand—one finger. His pale skin rolled off like bandages, floating up, focusing on tangling the fabric around the elbow into layers. Then deliberately pulled bit by bit, tightening it.

"I meant the more I'm tight around you.. the more the pain would be relieved into pleasure." He explained his words innocently—though it just felt more strange and uncomfortable, like they were having dirty talks.

"T-that doesn't sound clear either. It's not 'you' around 'me'.. it's your bandages around my fucking arm.." Chóng Fēi pressed out those words.

His eyes shut tight, biting back any whimpers as the tightness of the bandages felt like forcing his popped bone to straighten, blood rushing hot over there.

"Same thing." The exorcist said. "I think.. you are smart enough to understand. Where is the benefit of education if I have to add subtitles?"

He took his hand close to his own mouth while the bandages were tightly wrapped around Chóng Fēi's wound. His black, long nail clipped the bandages—similar to the way Chóng Fēi separated his snake web from his own body.

The bandages hissed softly, tangling around Chóng Fēi's arm like they were deliberately claiming it.

"That's not what I meant." Chóng Fēi almost groaned. His next words came out as a hushed warning. "And don't always roam around me while zhù fù can walk in anytime. He already hates you—you know."

"Oh, because the gûi here can do nothing but irritate and attack crawling common people—but not me?" He guessed.

Chóng Fēi swallowed hard, turned his face away gruffly. "If.. you already know, why ask or repeat like it is.. beautiful, memorable but not problematic..?"

The exorcist smirked slowly, leaning close enough to feel his breath against Chóng Fēi's ear.

Chóng Fēi's eyes snapped over him quietly, looking up to him, his body leaning back. His heart seemed to be working overtime to help his mind process whatever strange thing was happening around him. His other hand awkwardly held his injured arm, almost loosely hugging himself.

"So.. you care if I would be troubled, kid?" He purred softly, biting back a bigger smirk, the tip of his nose touching the shell of Chóng Fēi's ear.

Chóng Fēi didn't know why that voice was just.. spiking up.

His body felt that exact amount of warmth when he continued reading that new but addictive novel, "For The Four Arms, One Soul."

For a moment, he really wondered if reading those were as problematic as his father always lectured since the first time he got caught red-handed on the same rainy night he'd brought it from a library nobody properly visited.

No words came out of his mouth.

He was just left paralyzed, caged between his body and the wall behind.

"You actually notice me, you know..?" The exorcist continued. His tone almost soft—like he was touched by the fact. "You admire my appearance. My.. voice." His warm hand moved two fingers until they touched Chóng Fēi's. "Just as I am drawn to the bluish-gray hue of your gaze—like any moth."

Chóng Fēi's finger twitched in response, slowly, awkwardly—but he moved it away fast enough to feel like it burned. His breathing was too low, too controlled. Changing any rhythm of his body language seemed a way of getting exposed before he even understood himself.

The exorcist chuckled really faintly—like two beats of huffs. His finger stayed raised near to Chóng Fēi's far one—almost waiting. But he didn't reach out just yet.

Perhaps enjoying the breathless slow burn.

He didn't stop speaking. "Perhaps even that trashy skill too while.. nobody else did. I'm just a zombie spider climbing to a wall with furs around my neck more like a Mō than a human." He huffed like an exhale to himself—intentional enough to let the warmth touch Chóng Fēi's ear again. "But I think.. I found something irresistible at my web.."

Chóng Fēi was left in one position. Just listening. He felt caught. He really did pay extra seconds—perhaps minutes too—to look at this person. His appearance was captivating—and humans were drawn to beauty.

He couldn't tell if he was drawn to him specifically for a reason, or if it was just human nature.

Not to mention—the way he just.. said he found something interesting—it felt like this guy wasn't just bumping into him, but Chóng Fēi himself was a butterfly that had crawled up to the web unknowingly—and now he couldn't move.

"You actually enjoy.. my presence, Lil prince." The exorcist added. His voice now wrapping around Chóng Fēi like another silky layer of something that just said: danger, addiction, mistake.

Then he came even closer—right into the space between Chóng Fēi's legs, which had hung down from the table before he even realized. His hand, which had been teasing his fingers, now rested over his right thigh.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck!!'

'He's so shameless! Someone save me, or Lord knows what he would do..!'
