"Now then."
A serious Kentarō.
A rare sight.
He walked through a city he had never visited before, spinning his daggers carelessly.
"This is so boring."
He yawned.
"I have to finish this fast."
At the Casino
"Finally, I'm here."
Kentarō looked around.
"Where is this guy...? What was his name again?"
"Boone Fortunato."
"Weird name."
Without hesitation, Kentarō kicked over a chair and jumped onto a pool table.
"ATTENTION, BOONE FORTUNATO!"
The casino fell silent.
Cards stopped being dealt.
Dice stopped rolling.
Even the musicians paused.
Kentarō pointed dramatically.
"I'm here for your bounty."
His grin faded.
"Come out."
A few seconds passed.
Then, from the crowd, a man in a clean suit immediately turned and started walking toward an exit.
"Gotcha."
In an instant, Kentarō appeared in front of him.
"Nowhere to go, buddy."
The man stopped.
Then smiled.
"You're the fifth bounty hunter that's come after me."
Kentarō narrowed his eyes.
"...What?"
"Kentaro, was it?"
His smile widened.
Kentarō froze.
"He knows my name?"
"How do you know me?"
He pointed a dagger toward the man.
Boone laughed.
"You seriously don't know?"
"The Haven of Six."
He shrugged.
"Six legendary Heart wielders."
"And here stands one of them."
Kentarō's confidence immediately vanished.
"...What?"
Before he could process it.
Boone kicked a nearby garbage can.
A terrified cat launched out of it.
"AAAAH!"
The cat clawed directly across Kentarō's face.
"DAMN YOU!"
"BOONE! GET BACK HERE!"
Boone laughed as he ran.
"Who do you think I am?!"
The chase began.
Every corner Boone turned somehow worked in his favor.
Dust blew directly into Kentarō's eyes.
"DAMN IT!"
A bucket fell from a rooftop.
"DAMN IT!"
A pigeon hit him in the face.
"DAMN IT!"
Kentarō stopped.
Pointed at Boone.
"Nobody is this lucky."
Boone looked back.
"I am."
"THAT'S STUPID."
"I know."
Kentarō finally drew a dagger.
"Enough games."
He threw it.
A perfect throw.
Fast.
Precise.
Deadly.
Then.
A sudden gust of wind.
The dagger spun away and embedded itself into a wanted poster.
Boone's wanted poster.
Silence.
Kentarō stared.
Boone stared.
Then Boone shrugged.
"Heh."
"Lucky me, I guess."
Kentarō's eye twitched.
"I hate you."
"A lot of people do."
Then Boone stopped at the edge of an alleyway.
"You caught me."
Kentarō immediately became suspicious.
"He stopped?"
"No..."
"He definitely has something planned."
The ground beneath him suddenly gave way.
"WHAT THE-"
And Kentarō disappeared underground.
